Herobrine in Marvel...again

Chapter 56: 45 Marriage 3. Mothers 1

Amaunet took a deep breath, trying to steady herself. Even though she had spent years preparing for this moment, the weight of the occasion finally hit her.

"You don't need to be nervous, Amaunet," Oshtur said softly, her elegant, celestial presence radiating warmth as she held Amaunet's trembling hands.

"Atum is even more nervous than you," Ignia added, placing a reassuring hand on Amaunet's shoulder. "But believe me, he is beyond excited for this marriage."

Amaunet nodded shyly. "Y-yes… Mothers…" She glanced at the grand mirror before her.

Her dress was a masterpiece—woven from celestial silk and divine sunfire threads, matching Atum's regal attire. Herobrine would never allow anything less than perfection for his son's wedding, after all.

As Oshtur and Ignia did one final check on her outfit, a sudden burst of energy filled the room.

"BIG SIIIIIIIS!"

Before Amaunet could react, a tiny ball of fire and excitement launched at her.

"OOMPH!"

Little Agni, her future sister-in-law, landed right on her lap, her golden-red eyes sparkling with pure joy.

"Hehe~ Big Sis!" Agni giggled, snuggling into Amaunet. "You will be officially my big sis now! That means I get even MORE cotton candy from you!"

Amaunet couldn't help but laugh, gently patting Agni's flaming hair. "Is that what you're most excited about?"

"Of course!" Agni puffed out her chest proudly.

Oshtur and Ignia chuckled at the child's logic, while Amaunet shook her head fondly.

Then, as if remembering something important, Agni gasped and fished something out of nowhere—a photo frame.

"Tadah!"

She handed it to Amaunet with a smug grin.

Amaunet blinked and took a closer look.

It was a childhood photo of Atum.

A tiny Atum with chubby cheeks, bright, curious eyes, and a big, toothy smile—wrapped in a blanket that was way too big for him.

It was unbelievably adorable.

Amaunet covered her mouth, her face heating up as she stared at the picture.

"W-Where did you get this?!" she stammered, flustered but delighted.

Agni grinned smugly, rocking back and forth on her heels.

"Papa's treasure vault!" she declared proudly. "I found it hidden behind his important stuff~"

Amaunet giggled. "I can't believe he kept this all these years…"

Oshtur sighed with a knowing smile. "Herobrine likes to act tough, but he has always been a softie when it comes to Family."

Ignia chuckled. "You should show this to Atum later. Let's see how nervous he stays after seeing this!"

Amaunet smirked mischievously, hugging the frame close.

"Oh, I absolutely will."

Gaia's Grove was livelier than ever, decorated in celestial colors and divine elements, but the true spectacle was happening right at its heart—where the Mothers' Council had gathered.

Gaia, the Primordial Mother, sat at the center of it all, radiating a serene yet smug aura as she basked in the admiration of her 'fans.'

Izanami, the God-Queen of the Shinto Pantheon, was practically glowing with admiration. Her traditional high-collared kimono was pristine, but it was her eyes that gave her away—they sparkled like a devoted fan meeting their idol.

"'Mother' Gaia, you have no idea how much your wisdom has helped us," she said, bowing respectfully. "I would have never imagined that managing a divine family could be this… structured."

Gaia smiled, graceful and composed, though inside she was relishing the praise.

Another voice joined in.

"Lady Gaia," a deep yet gentle voice spoke.

Standing beside Izanami was a much larger woman—a towering figure with blue skin, sharp pointed ears, and an aura of cold elegance.

Bestla, All-Mother of Asgard, and Buri's partner.

"The insights from your book have made raising my children so much easier," Bestla admitted, sighing with relief. "Odin and Cul's… 'conflicts' have become less frequent, though…"

Her expression turned wary.

"Vili and Ve's pranks are something I still have to watch out for," she added, rubbing her temples with motherly exhaustion.

Gaia gave a knowing smile. "It is natural for children to be mischievous. It means they are growing well."

Bestla crossed her arms, still unconvinced. "Even now, I have this… sinking feeling that those two are up to something."

As if on cue, a new voice chimed in—light, teasing, and carefree.

"Fufu~ it is in the nature of children to be mischievous," Ignia, the Divine Mother of Fire, declared as she gracefully entered the scene.

The gathered mothers instinctively made space for her, recognizing another legendary matriarch among them.

Ignia, however, had other priorities.

She casually waved her hand, brushing off any concerns. "If not now, then when will they have fun? Just relax and watch the chaos unfold. You will cherish these memories once they grow older."

Bestla narrowed her eyes. "That's easy for you to say. Your children worship you. Mine are trying to outsmart me daily."

Izanami nodded. "Yes, I would be more relaxed if my children's pranks didn't involve creating new monsters that I have to clean up after."

Ignia just laughed, clearly unbothered. "That's what makes it fun!"

Then, as if only now remembering something, she turned to Gaia and clasped her hands together in an exaggerated sigh.

"By the way~ I left Amaunet with Oshtur when I came here~"

The entire group of divine mothers turned to her in disbelief.

Gaia raised an eyebrow. "You… dumped everything on Oshtur?"

Ignia smirked, completely unapologetic. "She loves organizing things. I'm just letting her shine."

Bestla and Izanami exchanged looks.

"…You are truly skilled in delegation," Izanami muttered, impressed yet exasperated.

"More like a master of strategic abandonment," Bestla sighed.

Gaia, meanwhile, simply chuckled, her smugness only increasing.

"Well, it seems my wisdom still has more students to guide," she mused, clearly enjoying every moment of her 'Motherly Guru' status.

Suddenly a new presence had entered the gathering of divine mothers. One that oozed confidence, allure, and just the right amount of arrogance.

A woman eerily similar to Gaia stood at the entrance, but where Gaia radiated serene, natural beauty, this woman was the demonic, seductive counterpart—the dark reflection of the Earth Mother.

Her long, crimson hair cascaded like flowing silk, her eyes glowed with an otherworldly red, and her body was sculpted to perfection, wrapped in an outfit that seemed designed to tempt even the most faithful.

With a playful smirk, Lilith—the first and only Succubus and 'gift' from Yahweh to Herobrine— stepped forward, her hips swaying dangerously.

"Ahhh~ What a warm gathering of mothers~" Lilith cooed, placing a hand on her cheek as she pretended to be touched.

Her eyes locked onto Gaia, who had finally turned to acknowledge her.

"Mother Gaia," Lilith purred. "Or should I say… competitor?"

Gaia did not react immediately. She simply tilted her head, as if contemplating whether to entertain this conversation or not.

The other divine mothers, however, were already intrigued.

Bestla leaned to Izanami. "…Who is she?"

Izanami whispered back, "Lady Gaia's edgier twin."

Bestla blinked. "…Gaia has an edgy twin?"

Gaia, meanwhile, finally spoke, her voice as calm as ever.

"Lilith," she greeted neutrally. "I see you are still… persistent."

Lilith grinned, completely unfazed. "Well, of course! I was made in your image to be the perfect motherly companion for Herobrine."

Her eyes gleamed mischievously.

"After all, a real mother must know how to balance nurturing and temptation, no?"

Gaia blinked once. Then twice.

Then she sighed.

"…You are still trying to prove that you are the better mother, aren't you?" Lilith pouted. "Of course~ I can't let a mere tree-hugger outdo me!"
