Kangetsu, Rengetsu, Kotaro, and four other Chunins were advancing rapidly toward Maiko Island. 

Kangetsu was a handsome man in his early thirties; he had long silver hair, grey eyes, sharp eyebrows, a handsome face, and a lean, muscular physique.

While they were advancing rapidly toward Maiko Island, Kotaro looked at Kangetsu and said, "Kangetsu-san, thank you for choosing me to join your team in this mission."

Kangetsu chuckled after hearing this and said to Kotaro, "Don't mention it, Kotaro. You are Rangetsu's best friend, and I like you." I believe that one day you two will give me a good challenge."

"I will wait patiently for that day to come."

Both Rangetsu and Kotaro smiled after hearing Kangetsu's words.

Then Rangetsu looked at Kotaro and said, "Hey Kotaro, we will soon meet little Yukina. Aren't you looking forward to seeing your student again?"

Kotaro snorted when he heard this and replied to Rangetsu, 'She's not my student, you water-brain. How did you come to that conclusion?'"

Rangetsu chuckled and answered Kotaro, "But you gave her a tip in her kenjutsu not long ago."

Kotaro smiled when he heard this and he started clarifying his action to Rangetsu.

"The reason I helped her that day was because of my admiration for her swordsmanship talent. I only gave her one tip; whether she was able to grasp my tip is up to her ability."

"To be honest, I have never seen anyone as talented as her in Kenjutsu; she is a true monster."

"She might be able to help me one day to break through my bottleneck."

Rangetsu was surprised when he heard this but no one saw the small smile on Kangetsu's face; his eyes were shining with interest.

Kangetsu then ordered his team, saying, "alright everyone let's speed up."

After hearing Kangetsu's order, all the team members sped up toward Maiko Island.

After 15 minutes 

Kangetsu and his team arrived outside Arika village.

Kangetsu noticed that many traps had been set outside the village, and they were quite well hidden.

He then turned to Rangetsu and ordered, 'Rangetsu, use the Observation Mirror Jutsu. I want to know what's happening in Arika Village and the status of Juzo-senpai's team.'"

After hearing Kangetsu's orders, Rangetsu started executing a series of hand seals; after he finished executing the hand seals, he murmured.

"Water Style: Observation Mirror Jutsu."

Rangetsu's right hand transformed into water, and from it, a water desk shot into the air."

"SWISH."

In the next moment the water desk turned into mirror and it was hovering above Rangetsu.

Rangetsu then pointed his index finger at the water mirror and sent it flying towards Arika village with incredible speed.

"SWISH."

After the water mirror flew toward Arika village, Rangetsu closed both of his eyes.

Kangetsu, Kotaro, and the rest of the team looked at Rangetsu patiently waiting for him to finish his investigation.

After a minute Rangetsu opened his eyes and said while sweating nervously, "Juzo-senpai is currently engaging in battle against The Fire Dragon of Konoha, Ken Wakabashi."

All the Chunins on the team got nervous when they heard this except for Kotaro, who smiled in interest after hearing what Rangetsu just said.

He then thought to himself, "I heard about this guy when I was a bounty hunter."

According to what I heard, this guy's mastery of fire jutsu is on a whole different level—he surpasses many Uchiha and Sarutobi clan members. The only two who surpass his mastery are Fugaku Uchiha and the Third Hokage."

"Even Jiraiya and Orochimaru of the Konoha Sannin lag behind him in mastery of Fire Jutsu."

Kangetsu looked at Rangetsu with a wide, bloodthirsty grin; his fighting spirit blazed like an inferno after hearing what Rangetsu had just said.

Rangetsu then continued his report, saying, "Yukina is battling two rogue ninjas who, according to my observation, possess Chunin-level skills."

Kangetsu and the rest of his team looked at Rangetsu seriously after hearing this, but Rangetsu didn't give them any time to respond and continued speaking."

"Juzo's senpai apprentice is also battling another rogue ninja who possesses Chunin-level skills."

Kangetsu nodded after hearing Rangetsu's report. He then looked at his team and ordered, "First, we need to destroy these traps. We will use the Water Clone Jutsu to do it."

After hearing this, Kotaro said to Kangetsu, "Kangetsu-senpai, I don't know how to perform the water clone jutsu or any clone jutsu other than the basic clone jutsu taught in the academy."

Kangetsu nodded in understanding and said, "Don't worry about it; just stand back and watch."

After hearing this, Kotaro nodded his head and stood obediently next to Rangetsu.

Kangetsu then continued, "After we destroy the traps, we will divide into groups. I will back up Juzo-senpai against the Fire Dragon of Konoha by myself. Rangetsu, you will lead two team members to support Juzo-senpai's apprentice. Lastly, Kotaro, you will lead the rest of the team to back up Yukina, but remember, you should only intervene if those two kids need assistance. These are our orders. Any questions?"

"All of Kangetsu's teammates shook their heads, and Kangetsu nodded in satisfaction."

"Together, they began forming a hand seal and murmured in unison."

"Water Style: Water Clone Jutsu."

Water clones began forming one after another.

Once all the water clones had formed, they began destroying all the traps that Yukina and Zabuza had set.

After destroying all the traps, every member of the Kangetsu team dispelled their water clones and used Shunshin to head toward Arika Village.
