Highschool DxD: Damn, I'm OP as Fuck!

Chapter 20: Chapter 19: Liliruca

Kenji and Hestia spent the entire morning finalizing the purchase.

With the help of the Adventurer's Guild, they bought a two-story villa on the outskirts of Orario for nearly 3 million valis.

---

Hestia spun around excitedly, her blue twin-tails bouncing as she surveyed the courtyard.

"Kenji, this is amazing!"

"This will be the home of the Hestia Familia from now on!"

Her eyes sparkled as she took in the surroundings.

The villa was modest but beautiful—a cozy two-story structure with a spacious courtyard, filled with exotic plants and a small pavilion in the center.

A place where they could relax, drink tea, and enjoy the breeze.

Although the villa only had seven or eight rooms, it was more than enough for their small familia.

Kenji watched Hestia with a smile.

Seeing her so happy made all the effort worth it.

---

After signing the final papers, Kenji and Hestia returned to Hephaestus' residence to collect their belongings.

As they packed, Hephaestus stood at the door, smiling.

But it wasn't sadness—it was happiness.

She wasn't losing a friend—she was watching Hestia finally build something of her own.

---

That night, after an exhausting day, Kenji collapsed onto his bed and fell into a deep sleep.

But for some reason—

He felt something warm wrapping around him.

A soft embrace.

Something—or someone—holding onto him tightly.

---

The next morning—

Kenji yawned and stretched, stepping into the living room.

And there—

Hestia lay sprawled out on the couch, hugging a pillow tightly.

"Mmm… Kenji~ Hehehe…"

She muttered in her sleep, her expression oddly satisfied.

Kenji raised an eyebrow.

"…Did she sleep out here all night?"

Shaking his head, he quietly picked up a fallen blanket and covered her.

Then, without a sound, he stepped out of the villa—heading toward the dungeon.

---

As the door closed behind him—

Hestia's eyes fluttered open.

She stared at the door for a long time.

Was it worry?

Or something else?

She didn't know.

But after a moment—

She smiled softly.

---

Orario was already bustling by the time Kenji reached the square in front of the dungeon entrance.

Just as he was about to step forward—

"Adventurer-sama, do you need a supporter?"

A soft voice called out to him.

Kenji turned his head.

And there—

A tiny figure, barely over his waist, stood before him.

She wore a white cloak that hid most of her small frame, with only a round face and reddish-purple hair visible.

Strapped to her back was a massive, army-green backpack—far too big for her small body.

Kenji recognized her instantly.

"Liliruca Arde."

A pallum girl—a supporter who had scammed and betrayed adventurers in the past.

In the end, she redeemed herself and joined the Hestia Familia.

Kenji smiled slightly.

---

"Hello, my name is Kenji."

"I do need a supporter today. What's your name?"

Even though he already knew, he played along.

Lili blinked in surprise.

Most adventurers didn't bother being polite to supporters.

They saw them as tools—pack mules to carry loot.

But this man…

He was different.

"Lili. You can call me Lili, Adventurer-sama."

Her eyes flickered toward Kenji's waist.

More specifically—

Toward the blade hanging from his belt.

Kenji caught the glance immediately.

She's interested in my sword.

---

Kenji chuckled inwardly.

He knew Lili's past well—her scams, her struggles.

If she really tried to steal from him—

Then she'd learn the hard way what kind of adventurer he was.

Still—

He didn't expose her.

Instead—

He simply smiled.

"Alright, Lili."

"You're my supporter today."

Then, without hesitation, he turned and walked toward the dungeon entrance.

Lili stared at him in shock for a moment.

Then—

She smiled.

And quickly followed after him.

---

The first floor of the dungeon was just as he remembered.

Dimly lit stone corridors.

Dark mud-like walls.

The constant echoes of monsters moving in the distance.

Soon—

The first wave of enemies appeared.

A group of small, hunched goblins crawled out of the walls, snarling as they spotted Kenji.

---

Lili's eyes narrowed slightly.

"Adventurer-sama, these are goblins."

"They're weak alone, but in large numbers, they can be dangerous."

Kenji remained silent.

The goblins gathered quickly, their numbers growing fast.

Lili frowned.

"Adventurer-sama, we should handle them quickly before—"

She froze.

Kenji wasn't moving.

He just stood there, calmly watching the goblins close in.

Lili's heart pounded.

"Is he scared?"

"Is he actually a rookie?!"

The goblins snarled and rushed forward—

---

Kenji exhaled slowly.

Then—

His right hand gripped the hilt of his sword.

His body lowered slightly—

And—

"Thunder Breathing… Fifth Form."

"Heat Lightning."

ZAP!

In a single instant—

Kenji vanished.

A streak of yellow lightning split through the corridor.

Lili barely had time to blink before—

SHING!

A dozen goblins fell.

Their bodies split apart—before vanishing into dust.

Only their magic stones remained.

---

Lili stood frozen.

Her mouth slightly open.

She had never seen anything like it.

Not just the speed—

But the absolute precision.

Every movement was flawless.

Kenji calmly straightened, sliding his sword back into its sheath.

Then, without looking back, he spoke.

"Lili."

"Pick up the magic stones."

Still stunned, Lili quickly snapped out of it.

She hurried forward, gathering the scattered loot.

And as she did—

She stole a glance at Kenji.

Her initial plan to deceive him…

Was suddenly filled with hesitation.

"What kind of adventurer is he…?"
