Hogwarts: Double Comparison Of Harry Potter, The Witches Are Jealous!

Chapter 42: The Meaning of a Legend

Igor Karkaroff: "Hehe, an interesting theory that Harry Black proposed... The reason we don't practice our magical power?"

Filius Flitwick: "Seen from another perspective, wouldn't it be just because of the Statute of Secrecy?"

Horace Slughorn: "Certainly. Before the emergence of that statute, wizards could practice magic freely, and new spells constantly appeared. It seemed... quite a promising era."

George Weasley: "Really? Our mother almost killed us when we were children and we tried to use our father's wand in secret!"

Fred Weasley: "Yes! Only when she was out. Our father let us test some spells."

Molly Weasley: "Ohh? So that really happened..."

Arthur Weasley: "..."

Arthur's expression darkened involuntarily.

Why do I feel like I'll be sleeping on the couch tonight?!

Rubeus Hagrid: "I'm really curious... How powerful were the wizards of the past?"

Minerva McGonagall: "I'm not sure, but they were certainly stronger than those of today."

Severus Snape: "That's obvious. How could the weak survive in an era when Muggles hunted wizards? When it was necessary to found academies with their own strength and defend them against dark wizards? Where the strongest could take control of a kingdom with their power alone?"

Gellert Grindelwald: "Haha! Now I understand why there are fewer and fewer truly capable wizards... Because there are only three wizards who have truly stepped into the real field of magic!"

Gellert Grindelwald: "Morgana, Herpo, Merlin, the four founders! Which of them didn't have to face countless trials and shed blood to be worthy of their title? Their stories were passed down through generations because they carved their own place in the magical world!"

Gellert Grindelwald: "How could wizards who don't even value the power that runs through their veins aspire to reach the pinnacle of magic?"

Shocking!

It took only a few words for everyone to feel the force contained within them... The power of the first Dark Lord!

Yes! How could someone who doesn't even care about practicing their own magic compare to those who had walked this path since the moment they awakened their gift?

At that moment, a persistent doubt settled in the hearts of all the wizards.

The Statute of Secrecy... Was blindly following it really the right thing to do? Or was it time to question it?

In the Great Hall of Hogwarts, at the teachers' table.

Albus Dumbledore couldn't help but let out a helpless sigh.

"Gellert... Do you really intend to start a rebellion?"

But Dumbledore's lamentations were destined to remain unheard, as the curtain of black light shone.

[Harry Black had just finished lunch when he joined Ron and Neville. The conversation mainly revolved around Ron's complaints about how strict Professor McGonagall was.

After a brief meeting, Harry Black joined Hermione and continued searching through the library.

The third lesson in the afternoon was History of Magic, but Professor Binns spoke so monotonously and only described what was already in the books that, one by one, the students succumbed to sleep.

Confirming that he already knew the entire lesson content, Harry Black used the time to read other books in the library, further enhancing his foundation in magic.

After the last Astronomy class of the day, Harry Black's first day at Hogwarts came to an end, and his routine at school seemed to have stabilized.

In Defense Against the Dark Arts classes, he usually met with Ron and Neville from Gryffindor. Despite Professor Quirrell's rather depressing lessons, Harry Black attributed it to his "curse" and decided to ignore it.

In Professor McGonagall's first Transfiguration class, Harry Black made an analogy with Matryoshka dolls and asked if Transfiguration could follow that principle, allowing something already transfigured to undergo another transfiguration.

This question made McGonagall look at him with new eyes, and her attention to Harry Black intensified even more, clarifying any doubts he had.

Soon, his reputation spread throughout Hogwarts, and everyone knew that a new genius had emerged that year. But how far could he go? No one knew.

Harry Black thought his routine would continue like this until, more than a week later, on a Friday, Ron and Neville appeared at breakfast, sweating from head to toe.

Ron was the first to speak, leaning in to whisper in a low tone:

"Harry, we have something to tell you."

Surprised by their cautious expressions, Harry's curiosity was piqued. After exchanging a few words with Hermione, he followed them out of the Great Hall.

"Alright, what do you have to tell me? If it's about borrowing my homework, forget it. You need to study seriously so you don't mess up in the future."

Ron quickly denied it and started explaining what had happened.

Harry Black's expression changed as he listened to Ron's words. According to him, during the flying lesson the day before, Draco Malfoy had stolen the Remembrall that Neville had dropped after an accident with his broom.

As Neville's friend, Ron had tried to retrieve the Remembrall by force. However, since neither of them knew how to cast combat spells properly, they ended up fighting.

Somehow, Ron managed to overpower Draco before Professor McGonagall arrived and deducted twenty points from Gryffindor and Slytherin.

But Draco wasn't satisfied and challenged Ron to a duel, which he accepted. However, when midnight came, instead of Draco, it was Filch and his cat who showed up.

Ron and Neville had to run to escape and, in the process, ended up entering the forbidden third floor. There, they came face to face with a huge three-headed dog. Fortunately, it was chained, which allowed them to flee.

Harry Black was still trying to process the whole situation when he asked:

"So you're telling me that there's a giant three-headed dog at Hogwarts and that you two almost became its snack?"

The two nodded frantically, like chickens pecking at rice. Only God knew how terrified they had been at that moment.

"Alright, don't worry too much. If there's a monster at Hogwarts, the professors clearly know about its existence. The headmaster himself had already warned everyone not to go to the third floor. You two are really brave..."

It was then that Ron and Neville remembered Dumbledore's warning and realized that the professors must have already been aware of the creature.

After they parted ways, Harry Black met up with Hermione, and the two headed to the common room. The decision surprised Hermione, as it was still early, and Harry usually went to the library at that time.

Seeing her curiosity, he simply said that he was tired and wanted to sleep earlier. Hermione nodded without questioning him.

At midnight, the entrance to the Ravenclaw common room opened, and Harry Black was seen stepping out. His eyes shone in the darkness of the night, and his magical power resonated with his emotions, overflowing from his body.

"How could I miss such an opportunity?"]
