[ Chapter XI (11): "MINERVA MCGONAGALL" ]
[ "I'm not tipsy, shut up!" ]
But no one was talking to her except her thoughts, and imaginations which seems to contradict her no matter what she does.
The drunkard who's well-known through her strict personality, the lady who's currently holding a bottle of expensive Gillywater — an alcoholic beverage of her choice amongst many others.
Butterbeer, Red Wine, Champagne, Turnip Wine, Elderflower Wine, and other such substances either oozing out of their bottle of what little they have left, or completely dry left standing on her table which was especially cleared off work for this special occasion.
This light green-eyed witch who's now completely drunk due to drinking multiple bottles of alcohol alone could be seen waving in the air, dancing in the middle of her office.
[ "Hmm, hmm~" ] Humming a tone to herself as she brings the bottle of Gillywater to her mouth, recklessly drinking it, not caring about the liquid that isn't able to enter her mouth — which is instead landing on the floor, or down her neck which is already drenched in both red, and white alcohol substances.
The once stern, strict but fair Gryffindor Head of the House could be seen then sobbing to herself as she emptied the bottle. Her composed demeanor which she presents to the whole world disappears as she is now left to her own devices.
Her usually bun-tied dark hair now messy and unruly, her glasses hanging barely by her nose as she didn't care about it at all. Her vision not being important at the moment due to her gaining double her vision, in short rendering the need for prescribed glasses as nothing.
[ "Weeeeee~" ]
Feeling that she have lost her mind, the once proud witch McGonagall moved around her heavily quidditch decorated room uncaring about the opinions of others. Feeling lonely in being separated from the wizarding world she have grown accustomed too, having been transported into another world by that...
That insufferable man, in remembering him she felt annoyed. Annoyance, yes, and that word isn't enough to describe her true feelings towards the man. She doesn't care about him one bit, he hates him.
Him being the cause of her pain and anguish after all, yet she admires the man in some sense — one which she will never speak out loud. And most importantly she hated that man, insufferable bastard that thinks all-high and mighty about himself.
Having god-like powers, having the ability to summon other wizards from other timelines... Some weirdly enough knowing her, her colleague and apparently another which became her student — she couldn't believe it.
If that man can do that with the whim of his hands, then what more can he do?! The confusion she sees in their eyes when they stare at him — Newt Scamander, the shy looking kid was startled at the point of stutterness.
Noticing it, she raised one of her brows up slightly, inquiring for the reason why the mysterious kid is looking at her like he just saw a ghost.
But before she could find out the reason for such an expression that man stepped in, explaining in rapid motion the reason why he is there.
At first McGonagall who's listening didn't thought of it that much, yes, the man has abilities to summon others from her universe. One that man may or may not have lived in before, having discovered a secret art traveling in-between worlds.
At first it made her have an internal crisis, she wept silently in her room, not having the option to go back to her original universe, or world from what he heard. At first she instinctively slapped him in hearing that, then stormed out.
But not sooner than later she fully accepted her role, and begrudgingly accepted her role as House Head of Gryffindor and Deputy Headmistress apparently, even though she doesn't have any teaching experience.
Then right in front of her eyes Hogwarts was bit-by-bit build. Looking nothing like the one she studied in, but nonetheless in seeing blocks appear out of thin air and reorganize themselves to form Hogwarts was a sight she'll never forget.
Then the Library was built, paintings with lives was hung — she spent most of her time talking to them in utter boredom, no quidditch existed yet after all.
Perhaps in seeing her boredom that insufferable man quietly slipped in a set of Magic Chess Board, one she have at the shelves of her, one continuing to play with itself without any input from anyone.
She quietly looks at the set, and notices that White is winning, two Pawns up as the Black King cursed at the other pieces, debris of destroyed Rooks, Knights, and Pawns scattered in the board.
One which after one King is checkmated will reconstruct to be a piece again. Beautiful thing really.
After the mysterious Newt Scamander was transported here, into this lonely world filled with prehistoric monsters, the kid who's seemingly nothing but 18 years of age was given the House Head position for Hufflepuff.
She didn't mind, Newt was also given the position of Herbology and Care of Magical Creatures Professor. Again, she didn't mind. While she was given the position of Transfiguration and Flying Professor. She didn't mind.
Skilled in both Transfiguration and Flying she begrudgingly accepted, even though she didn't have any form of experience in teaching. Not like she had a choice in the matter after all.
One day she woke up, feeling slightly tired from having played too much Wizard Chess, then she had her fill, dressed up and explored Hogwarts about to go into the Library to study on Transfiguration and other forms of magic.
Passing by a busy Newt who's tackling an escape boar who didn't want to drink her medicine, she waved, Newt who had his hands full waved back. Before ultimately the both of them continued on, this was a daily reccuring incident after all. If not a boar then a dinosaur in other instances.
Passing by the empty Great Hall she was filled with grief, reminiscent of the time in which she studied there. Not exactly how the Great Hall of Hogwarts looks, but similar to that, the sky wasn't filled with stars or floating candles which distressed her.
She wanted to enchant the ceilings again, another reason for her study. But what caught her off-guard is the legendary figure of one Headmaster, dressed in what she could make out to be a muggle suit, green, and ugly brown trousers she doesn't know where he stole from.
At first she wanted to laugh, but years in the Ministry made her facial expressions cold, unless she really wanted to laugh then no one would be able to make her laugh. But the appearance of his was so hideous that she slightly grinned in response, before ultimately shutting it down quick.
Perhaps having seen her grin, the man in response adored his usual ugly-looking smile at her. Fixing his brown necktie that she doesn't know where he got also, but in knowing the wizard in front of her have exter dimensional transportation made her calm down.
What annoyed her that moment is not her accidentally grinning for reasons unknown to her, or at the ugly appearance of the Headmaster. No, what fully annoyed her is the announcement he made right then and there;
[ "Prepare yourself Ms. McGonagall. A hundread and fifteen students will be here this afternoon." ]
[ "Why are you looking at me like that?" ]
[ "Ms. McGonagall why are you raising your wand...?!" ]
