Chapter 542: Chapter 542: Andy and Voldemort's first solo
Time passed slowly while they waited.
The familiar plot once again played out in Azkaban.
Voldemort appeared in Azkaban with four Death Eaters and waved his wand as he entered the Azkaban prison, killing his way through the crowd of Aurors, who trembled in fear.
No one stood in his way!
Andy felt a surge of emotion every time he saw this scene.
The fear of Voldemort in the British magical community had been deeply embedded in their bones.
Not to mention resisting Voldemort; even during the ten odd years when Voldemort disappeared, only a handful of wizards dared to call him by his name.
Dumbledore's battle with Voldemort had become absolutely necessary!
That battle would inspire courage.
Back to the story!
After Voldemort killed his way into Azkaban Prison, Dumbledore and the Pendant Andy followed.
Because Dumbledore used the Disillusionment Charm, Andy couldn't see them. So Andy could only silently calculate the time in his heart and estimate the point in time when they entered the prison.
'Is this the reason why I didn't sense the presence of a third person at that time?' Andy thought to himself.
At this point in time, a lot of the history had already been completed.
Now, Andy's only doubt was the cause of this whole mess.
But obviously, this was not the time to dwell on such things.
Andy watched from afar as he saw a seriously injured and dying Auror receive treatment at the entrance to Azkaban Prison. Immediately, Andy set off towards Azkaban Prison.
It was time to show off his real acting skills!
When he reached the prison entrance, Andy removed the Disillusionment charm, making his figure visible—a black robe with cloud-like flame patterns and an orange spiral-shaped one-eyed mask.
Holding his wand, Andy leisurely walked deeper and deeper into the prison.
Since he was not trying to hide, the sound of his footsteps could be heard clearly in the dark corridor.
As he passed a corner, Andy deliberately glanced over there.
If he remembered correctly, he and Dumbledore were hiding around that corner at the time.
Due to the effects of the Disillusionment Charm, Andy could not see them.
Without doing anything unnecessary, Andy glanced at the corner before immediately withdrawing his gaze and continuing to walk deeper into the prison.
The battle there was fierce!
In fact, Voldemort had already been merciful because he wanted to capture the Aurors alive.
After all, the population of wizards was very small, so unless necessary, Voldemort actually did not want to kill wizards, especially Pureblood wizards.
Because in Voldemort's view, if he rules the wizarding world, these people will all be his subjects.
In a cell deep within Azkaban, the remaining five Aurors are holding out.
Three of the five have already been seriously injured, and the power of dark magic is torturing them to the point where they would rather be dead.
The remaining two are also filled with despair.
In the face of Voldemort's powerful might, they saw no hope of survival.
Voldemort stood alone outside the cell, and the four Death Eaters who had come with him had disappeared without a trace.
Perhaps because victory was within reach, Voldemort was in no hurry at the moment.
He looked at the five people in the cell with playful eyes, and his hoarse voice slowly echoed, "If you don't want to die without meaning, I can give you a chance-"
Ta-ta-ta.
The sound of footsteps was exceptionally insolent at this moment.
Voldemort's expression froze.
Who is disturbing me while I'm displaying my brilliance?
Ta-ta-ta.
The footsteps got closer and closer. Voldemort turned around and looked at the end of the corridor with a gloomy look in his eyes.
A figure appeared there.
Dressed in a black robe with a cloud-like flame pattern, with an orange spiral mask on his face, the only thing visible was his single eye, which glowed with a scarlet red.
A Dark Wizard!
From the way the stranger was dressed, Voldemort immediately realised that the person in front of him was definitely a Dark Wizard.
It was a strange outfit.
But the 'class' was unexpectedly high.
"Tom... Riddle..."
Andy muttered out the name in a slightly low voice and then said indifferently, "You should take your people and leave."
Voldemort: "..."
Voldemort had run rampant in the wizarding world for decades in his peak but had never seen anyone this insolent in his presence.
"Heh, heh..."
Voldemort let out a light laugh and then instantly raised his wand, the miserable green light of the Killing Curse streaking straight at Andy.
Andy also raised his wand.
The red light of the Disarming Charm collided with the miserable green light of the Killing Curse.
The two beams of magical light clashed fiercely in the air, sparks flying, neither giving way to the other.
Voldemort's face twitched for a second.
Disarming Charm... again!
Voldemort really hates this spell now.
Disarming Charm could be considered a 'high-level' spell. Although it was not as powerful as other offensive spells, it was the key to turning the tide of battle and depriving the enemy of the means to fight back.
Andy had studied this spell in detail since Harry's battle with Voldemort in the cemetery; he had even consulted Grindelwald about it.
Of course, Grindelwald didn't think much of this spell.
Regardless of whether the Disarming charm had other properties, its lack of lethality was its greatest weakness.
Andy, however, saw things differently.
There were many reasons why Harry was able to fight Voldemort to a standstill. But it was undeniable that the Disarming Charm could indeed counter the Killing Curse.
Without this prerequisite, the other factors would not have come into play.
Andy pondered this issue and eventually came up with an answer.
The Disarming charm does more than just disarm.
The essence of this spell is to disarm your opponent and make yourself safe.
Andy had experimented with the Disarming charm.
In addition to objects, living things can also be disarmed – Andy asked Hermione to hug him and then used the Disarming charm on her, and she truly let him go.
The Disarming Charm has a very wide range of applications.
So in theory, the enemy's magic is actually within the scope of 'disarming'.
Perhaps this is the real reason why the Disarming charm can resist the Killing Curse—it is disarming the Killing Curse.
Zizi Zizi...
The two spells collided fiercely in the air, and Andy felt an unprecedentedly huge pressure surging towards him like a tsunami.
Andy's eye looked through the mask at Voldemort.
He's really strong!
Andy didn't know if Voldemort had used his full strength, but at this moment, Andy was using all of his strength without reservation.
The six-point [Mind] attribute and his high level of spell mastery gave Andy powerful magical attack power.
The dark magic transfiguration that had stolen the power of death and the four-point [Constitution] attribute gave Andy extremely high magical adaptability and spellcasting fluency.
However, these abilities were no match for Voldemort, and they were completely unable to do anything.
