Hogwarts: The Unscientific Wizard (TL)

Chapter 548: Chapter 548 I Didn’t Kill ‘Bob’, But ‘Bob’ Died Because of Me

Azkaban Prison.

Hordes of dementors wandered the corridor, unwilling to leave.

This place had an attractive scent.

A scent that made the dementors feel comfortable and cleared their chaotic thoughts.

At this moment, apart from these dementors, no other living being could be found in the vast Azkaban.

Oh...there's one left!

A huge door slowly appeared on a black stone wall. When the door had fully appeared, the closed door opened with a loud bang.

"Expecto Patronum!"

A low yell resounded, and a silvery white cat darted out of the opening.

The cat's body radiated dazzling silver light.

This silver light spread from the fat cat as a focal point in all directions.

Wherever the silver light passed, the dementors were forced back as if they had encountered a natural nemesis.

Andy stepped out of the room with his wand in hand.

Boom!

The door behind him slammed shut and disappeared.

The Fat Cat Patronus circled Andy once, and with stunning momentum, the fat cat charged straight towards the area with the most dementors.

At the same time, waves of silver light continued to spread in all directions.

When the dementors encountered the silver light, they were like paper touching a flame—they were scorched to bits just by coming close.

The dementors fled in defeat!

In a short moment, the Fat Cat Patronus drove the dementors out of Azkaban Prison.

"Bloody hell!"

Andy sighed, "The Dementors' weaknesses are just too obvious... I don't know what the Ministry was thinking, letting these guys guard Azkaban."

After saying that, Andy shook his head in disappointment.

Dementors are indeed dangerous and terrifying.

But their weaknesses are also very obvious, and almost everyone in the wizarding world knows about them.

Anyone who has learnt the Patronus Charm and made some preparations in advance wouldn't have any trouble rescuing someone from Azkaban.

After expelling the dementors, the Fat Cat Patronus slowly flew back. It looked a little pleased with itself and waved its tail at Andy, beckoning.

"Well done, Big Cat!" Andy praised it sincerely.

After that, Andy looked around.

It is time to go!

If he stays any longer, the Ministry of Magic will probably send someone over.

Thinking of this, Andy asked the Fat Cat Patronus to protect him and then quickly ran towards the outside of the prison.

With the Fat Cat Patronus, a bane to Dementors, there was no danger to Andy's safety, no matter how many Dementors he encountered.

Before long, Andy ran outside the prison.

"Tsk!"

Andy suddenly smacked his lips together and glanced back.

Although the mirror was covered with a black cloth, the cold from the mirror could not be blocked by the cloth at all.

Along the way, the ground, walls, and ceiling were all covered with a light layer of frost.

'This is a bit of a problem...' Andy had a headache.

If this cold cannot be handled, then no matter where Andy hides this mirror, there is still a risk of exposure.

After thinking about it, Andy let out a sigh.

At this point, he could only take things one step at a time. When he returned to Hogwarts later, he would go to the Restricted Book Section to look up some information.

In the sky, the Dementors kept hovering, emitting creepy, shrill cries.

They had sensed the source of that scent.

It was in the arms of that human.

They wanted it!

But...

The chubby cat was guarding the human.

They were no match for the cat!

"Such restraint... How overpowering!"

Andy muttered, and then his eyes lit up when he thought about restraint.

The Dementors' power was similar to the power of the Death Dimension.

If the Fat Cat Patronus could restrain the Dementors, then the Fat Cat might also have a way to neutralise the power of the Death Dimension.

"Maybe... I can use the Fat Cat Patronus to get a glimpse of the death dimension's mysteries!"

"A new world, a new dimension..."

Just like how they explored the two-dimensional world in the mural.

As long as Andy stays alive, the Fat Cat Patronus can live on forever, resurrecting indefinitely through the spell.

Thinking about this, Andy's heart throbbed with excitement.

Death dimension...

This time, maybe he can really lift the veil on the death dimension.

"Hoo——"

Exhaling audibly, Andy suppressed his excitement and shouted, "Let's go!"

After saying that, Andy quickly ran towards the edge of the island.

Once there, he could use the Apparition or the Portkey.

The Dementors continued to hover around Andy.

That scent attracted them, but they were afraid of the Fat Cat Patronus and did not dare to get close to Andy.

The silver light from the Fat Cat Patronus formed a kind of inverted dome around Andy, protecting him in the centre. Occasionally, a few Dementors would cross the line and be hit by the silver light, screaming and writhing in agony.

A few unlucky Dementors had even turned into black smoke and melted away in the process.

Soon, Andy had run to the edge of the island.

He took one last look in the direction of Azkaban Prison and the large swarm of Dementors.

"…Sorry!"

Andy muttered, feeling a bit guilty, then without further hesitation, he used the Apparition spell and disappeared from the spot in the blink of an eye.

Of course, Andy wasn't apologising to the dementors, but to the humans who would soon be attacked by them.

Andy now understood why the dementors were willing to stay in Azkaban.

It was because of the mirror!

Or rather, the power of the dead dimension contained within it.

But Andy had taken the mirror.

It was not hard to imagine how angry the dementors would be at having lost their most precious possession!

What would they do?

Andy didn't know!

But the dementors would certainly be looking for the mirror.

That would be a disaster!

A creature like a dementor, even if you were only in their vicinity, could take away all your happiness.

If they get the urge one day... they are capable of taking a person's life!

He just hoped that the Ministry would handle the mess he left behind quickly.

But despite this, Andy doesn't regret taking the mirror because it is extremely important to him.

All he can hope for is...

Good luck and no death!

With a pop!

Andy reappeared in a deserted suburb.

The next second, Andy disappeared again with another pop.

While it was easy to hide the mirror, Andy still needed to do some tests first—if the distance was too far, could the dementors sense the position of the mirror?

If not, then of course everything would be fine.

But if...

In that case, he could only hope the Room of Requirement would come to his aid!

Meanwhile, the Dementors, having lost their precious treasure, finally lost their minds and went into a complete frenzy!

They left the Azkaban island in droves and flew rapidly towards the continent.

In the blink of an eye, Azkaban was deserted.

Dark clouds covered the sea, the clouds were very low, and flashes of lightning could be seen from time to time.

The deserted Azkaban looked even more eerie at that moment.
