Hokage: I Am an Uchiha with the Power to Extract Entries

Chapter 74: Shock To All Parties

Ohnoki walked into the perception team's tent, his face darkening as he took in the expressions of his subordinates. Every single perception ninja looked utterly shocked, their faces pale with disbelief.

His voice was sharp as he scolded them. "What's wrong with all of you? How could you lose control like this? Dozens of perception ninjas reacting this way is unacceptable! I'm disappointed!"

One of the older, more experienced perception ninjas stepped forward, his voice trembling slightly as he pointed in the direction where Yuma and Madara had been fighting. "Lord Tsuchikage... We've sensed an enormous chakra surge nearly a hundred kilometers away."

The memory of that terrifying chakra made him swallow nervously before continuing, "Both chakra signatures are overwhelming—colder and more oppressive than anything we've felt before. And the sheer amount of chakra... it's greater than that of the Tailed Beasts! That's why we summoned you here immediately, Lord Tsuchikage."

Ohnoki's expression turned even grimmer.

A chakra stronger than the Tailed Beasts, filled with a chilling and solemn presence?

He knew that feeling all too well.

It was the same aura he had experienced when kneeling alongside his teacher in front of Uchiha Madara.

His mind raced.

In this era, the only Uchiha he had been paying close attention to was Yuma, who followed Namikaze Minato. That meant Yuma was somewhere nearby.

"Tell me at once—what is the exact location of that chakra source?!"

"Y-Yes, Lord Tsuchikage!" the perception team responded in unison.

Meanwhile, in the Konoha camp, Namikaze Minato and the leader of the current generation of the Ino-Shika-Cho trio, Nara Shikaku, listened intently to the report from their own perception ninjas.

Shikaku, known for his brilliant strategic mind, furrowed his brows and turned to Minato. "Minato, if I'm not mistaken, that direction... that's near Kannabi Bridge. And this chakra surge—one of them is your disciple, Uchiha Yuma, isn't it?"

Shikaku still found it difficult to wrap his head around Yuma's rapid growth. He had always understood the intricate power dynamics of Konoha—the Senju had faded, the Uchiha were carefully restricted, and the Ino-Shika-Cho alliance had grown stronger under the will of the Third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen.

Sarutobi had always kept a tight rein on the Uchiha, wary of the unpredictable power of the Mangekyō Sharingan. But for Uchiha Yuma, things were different. Even Hiruzen, who had spent years suppressing the clan's influence, had been forced to acknowledge his strength.

This latest report only confirmed what Shikaku had begun to suspect—

Uchiha Yuma wasn't just a rising talent. He was a monster in the making.

Two chakra signatures, equal in power.

One of them had to be Yuma.

Thirteen years old, stronger than a Tailed Beast, wielding the infamous Mangekyō Sharingan... The implications were staggering.

Shikaku took a deep breath, steadying his thoughts.

If this continued, Konoha would soon have a new God of Shinobi.

And Sarutobi Hiruzen's decision to let Yuma grow freely? A masterstroke of wisdom.

Konoha was about to rise to new heights.

He glanced at Minato, who looked equally pensive. "Minato, am I right? One of those chakra signatures belongs to your disciple?"

Minato sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Yes, it's Yuma... and to be honest, even I'm finding it hard to believe. I always knew he would surpass me one day, but this..."

He shook his head, trying to process the reality before him.

Yuma had already surpassed him.

Surpassed everyone in Konoha.

And yet, what concerned Minato wasn't Yuma's strength.

It was the identity of his opponent.

"Shikaku, Yuma is my student. No matter how powerful he becomes, I trust him completely. What we need to worry about is the one he's fighting."

Shikaku's expression darkened. "You're right. Yuma is Konoha's own, and we can only benefit from his power. But whoever he's up against is an enemy—one strong enough to go toe-to-toe with him."

His mind worked quickly, strategizing the next move. "Minato, use your Flying Thunder God and check on the situation. If Yuma isn't seriously injured, the mission to destroy Kannabi Bridge is as good as complete. Once you confirm his condition, return immediately, and we'll launch our attack."

Minato's eyes lit up. "Good thinking, Shikaku! I'll be back soon."

With a blur of motion, he vanished.

When Namikaze Minato reappeared near Kakashi, he immediately scanned the area. Yuma and the others looked intact—no severe injuries. Relief flooded his expression.

At that moment, Yuma and his team noticed his arrival, though they weren't particularly surprised. They all knew that Minato had placed a Flying Thunder God seal on Kakashi's sword.

"I'm glad to see you're all safe... But tell me," Minato asked, his tone serious, "who were you fighting just now, Yuma?"

Yuma met his sensei's gaze and responded calmly, "The one I fought... was Uchiha Madara."

Minato's eyes widened in shock. "Uchiha Madara?! But that's impossible! He was supposed to have been killed by the First Hokage! How could he still be alive?!"

Minato knew all too well who Madara was.

The man who nearly destroyed Konoha in its early years. The nightmare that haunted shinobi history.

If he was alive—and still this powerful—it was a crisis beyond imagination.

But what truly stunned Minato was Yuma himself.

One year.

In just one year, his once-promising student had grown to the point where he could fight against the legendary Uchiha Madara himself.

Even though Minato had always believed Yuma would surpass him someday, seeing it actually happen was another thing entirely.

Reality had struck.

Yuma had already outgrown him.

Not just outgrown—he had reached a level that even Minato, the Yellow Flash, had never dreamed of.

And now, Konoha had a new protector, one even stronger than its previous generations had ever hoped for.
