Hokage: I Am an Uchiha with the Power to Extract Entries

Chapter 80: Fugaku's Confidence

The crimson glow of the crystal ball flickered ominously, forming a series of images...

In one of them, Minato Namikaze's eyes appeared less determined than usual.

As the vision unfolded, it revealed Minato arriving just in time at a hotel. Within a cage formed by the Earth Release technique, he swiftly rescued all his disciples.

Watching intently, the tomoe in Uchiha Madara's Sharingan began to spin rapidly.

With a subtle movement, he channeled the power of the Gedo Statue, freezing the image within the crystal ball.

His gaze followed the vision's focus, locking onto a young man adorned with a flame-ball fan crest on his clothing.

That boy—

Judging by his face, he bore an uncanny resemblance to someone Madara once knew—Uchiha Obito.

In fact, he looked exactly the same.

However, there were minor yet significant differences.

For instance, this 'Obito' wasn't wearing goggles. His Sharingan, fully matured with three tomoe, gleamed ominously in his eye socket.

More importantly—his demeanor...

It was entirely different from the Obito of this world.

If the Obito here was a kind-hearted, simple boy—

Then the 'Uchiha Obito' in the vision was the epitome of a true Uchiha.

Madara could feel it through the mere projection—

A deep, unwavering paranoia ingrained in his very being.

"This presence... it feels like he is already a mature heir," murmured Black Zetsu, also staring at the image. However, hesitation lingered in his voice. "But in terms of talent... could he be weaker than the Obito here?"

"No!" Madara's response was instant and absolute. "Are we not already aware of the truth of this world? The same person, apart from their personality, will always possess the same ninja talent."

"You're right." Black Zetsu nodded in realization. "Then, Madara-sama, we should bring this 'Uchiha Obito' over immediately. If we delay any further, the situation may change."

Madara nodded in agreement. "That's true."

With that, he clenched the crystal ball in his hand—

Crack!

A massive surge of chakra from the Gedo Statue poured into the scarlet orb, causing fractures to spread across its surface.

Before long—

Shatter!

The crystal ball exploded into fragments, each glowing with a radiant white light.

In the tense silence, Madara and Black Zetsu watched as these white lights coalesced—

Slowly forming the shape of a human.

Moments later, a young man, identical to Obito, stood before them.

As his consciousness stirred, his eyes snapped open. Instantly activating his Sharingan, he scanned his surroundings with a sharp, guarded gaze.

"Who are you?" he demanded, his voice low and wary.

His surprise was evident.

As an elite of the Uchiha clan, he knew his own strength well. Yet these two men had managed to bring him to this strange place in an instant—

A realization that sent a chill down his spine.

Madara took a step forward, speaking slowly. "I am Uchiha Madara, and this—"

Before he could finish, the young man cut him off with a voice laced with shock and suspicion.

"What?! Peacemaker Uchiha Madara?! Didn't he die of old age?"

His expression twisted into a glare. "Who the hell are you? Trying to impersonate the deceased hero of the Uchiha clan... Are you playing some kind of joke?!"

Madara froze. "Huh? Peacemaker?"

He pointed at himself, utterly baffled.

Hearing that nickname sent a jolt through him. The very idea of being called a 'Peacemaker'—

It was absurd.

A name completely opposite to his true nature.

In that world... was he truly a peace-loving figure?

Madara's thoughts reeled at the implications. Could it be that everything in that dimension was reversed?

"Tch. Enough of this, Madara-sama." Black Zetsu stepped forward, breaking the momentary silence. "And as for you—Uchiha leader—let's get straight to the point."

Madara's eyes darkened. "You're right."

Fixing his gaze on the young Uchiha before him, he continued, "You nearly distracted me, kid. Now listen carefully—I will explain why you are here."

The young man narrowed his eyes. "I'm listening."

Time passed swiftly.

Half a year ago, following the successful destruction of the Kannabi Bridge, Konoha had gained a decisive advantage in the war against Iwagakure.

Recently, Iwagakure, unable to bear the losses, had initiated peace negotiations with Konoha, preparing to withdraw from the battlefield and redirect its focus towards the rising threat of Kumogakure.

Meanwhile, Kirigakure, for reasons unknown, had begun reducing its military pressure on the Fire Country's coastline.

With the situation stabilizing, Konoha's leadership decided to recall Uchiha Fugaku from the frontlines.

Fugaku, having long received troubling reports from the Uchiha clan, wasted no time in returning.

During his absence, a certain individual—

Uchiha Yuma—

Had been steadily expanding his influence within the Konoha Police Force.

Initially, Fugaku had viewed Yuma favorably, even respecting his sense of duty.

However, in just over a year, Yuma's strength had grown at an alarming rate.

Fugaku hadn't been too concerned—until recently.

Everything changed the moment Yuma unexpectedly killed Uchiha Setsuna and seized his political legacy.

In Fugaku's absence, Yuma's power had expanded unchecked.

Now, Fugaku could no longer ignore it.

The Police Force was the foundation of the Uchiha clan's authority.

And as clan leader—

He could not afford to let his influence be eroded.

But before, he had been tied down by the war. Now, having returned to Konoha—

It was time to confront Yuma directly.

Half a year ago, Fugaku might have hesitated.

But that was before he had gained new eyes.

The death of a close comrade had awakened the power of the Mangekyō Sharingan within him.

The immense strength it granted him left no room for doubt.

With absolute confidence, he led his subordinates back into the Uchiha compound, walking through the village with purpose.

After briefly meeting with the Third Hokage, he wasted no time.

Fugaku strode into the Police Force headquarters and entered his office.

Summoning a young Uchiha with short black hair and a distinctive black mark on his forehead, he issued a firm command:

"Tiehuo... Go and summon Yuma. Tell him I have something important to discuss."

"Yes, Lord Fugaku!"
