Chapter 1191: The Vishkanya-2
"This...why don't I believe you and not her? She works for me; you, on the other hand, spun an even more ridiculous tale!" She clearly wasn't convinced!
Samuel didn't say anything but stood up from his seat and started undressing. The woman didn't try to stop him but simply said, If you think your charms would work on me, then think again. Not all ladies like pretty boys!"
"Ma'am, I am not trying to seduce you! I am showing you the proof that you wanted to see; beside you are as old as my grand-" He hurriedly stopped himself, feeling the cold sweep the room, and corrected himself, "I mean, you must be married and have a family already. I don't want to do anything to jeopardize it. I am not that kind of person."
"I don't believe you. Don't think I don't know about your personal life."
"I am really not...forget it." He simply took off his shirt and showed her a few marks that he got during last night's battle. It's not like he was the only one that was enjoying it; Talia was a beast too that seemed hungry for it for quite some time!
"See this? This should be enough to tell you how much you need to educate your people on how to do things when they are in the field. I was almost killed by her several times!"
"If you can be beaten by a woman so easily, then I am not sure why you are acting so tough in front of me. This proves nothing, and what she does on the job is none of my concern. I want to know why she failed her mission after all the preparation." The woman paused for a second before becoming more serious.
"There are no people alive that could say that they slept with our agent and lived to tell the tale. It is impossible, so there is no reason for me to believe you because that's the one thing that is not possible for any man in this world." She stood up and walked toward the window, hiding her face, waiting for him to come clean and say that he was spreading lies.
Seeing her lonely back, Samuel also got serious because he didn't know how she was going to react when she finds out that he knew much more about their organization than he let on, but he knew he had to say something if he needed to gain their trust.
"Are you talking about this?" He gently placed a metallic ring on the table. The sound was so distinct that the woman knew what it was before even seeing it.
"She told you? I don't believe it." She continued to deny it till the end, but when she heard him say the phrase, her whole body stiffened as her true bloodlust was let out, which was tens of times stronger ferocious than what she displayed before.
"The Vishka-"
"Shit!" Samuel could only curse in his heart as he prepared to take on the old woman. If he really wants to compare, she was a duplicate of old man Arthur; they were both monsters who kept getting stronger despite their growing age!
Each attack was aimed at his vital signs; she was definitely trying to kill him, and Samuel knew if he was an ordinary person, she would only need to scratch him once and it would be enough! He knew words were meaningless, so he focused more on fighting her.
They smashed everything in their path as they leaped from tables to decorations. Samuel tried to slow her down with these tools, but her legs were like sharp whips that were constantly attempting to slice at his head and body, and her claws were like stones that cut through everything like butter.
The ancient looking room was a mess with shards and pieces of equipments laying around the floor like natural trap restricting their movement. Even Samuel had to keep track knowing if he slipped she would definitely used everything in her power to try to dig her claws directly through his heart!
Suddenly, their fight was interrupted by another call but this time he was the only one that was distracted for a moment which she used to scratch his forearm and made four deep cuts that went past her shirt. His wounds started bleeding but the pain was many times worse than what he would experience normally.
She also halted her attack and kept looking at him kneeling on the floor trying to process what just happened. Within seconds, his wounds which was bleeding profusely changed from blood red gnash to a more blackish colour.
"Normally, the pain would be enough to make people unconcious but you seem to be the rare few that would go through the whole process while still feeling everything around you." The woman looked at him but her eyes were more pitiful than angry like before.
"I don't know how you found out about us. If Talia did betray us than I am sorry I have to finish the cleansing that would mean she too will join you in few days and anyone around her would suffer the same fate."
"Arrgghhh, fuck!" Samuel writhed in pain but he was still verbal which surprised the woman again.
"You should have kept it to yourself and if you researched about us in detail you would have known we doesn't exist atleast not in general sense. No bodies knows our secret and if they do manage to find out, they will be eliminated by the organization." It was like she was reading him his last rites!
"Your lips and tongue will begin to burn, your mouth will erupt with saliva and you'll get very sweaty," the woman explained. "You'll no longer be able to speak, swallow, seizures will begin and your body will slowly shut down – all while you are completely lucid but unable to move."
The woman knew Samuel's fate was sealed. In few hours he would cease to exist but she needed to know what to do with her body. There was little chance for her to sent it back and they also needed to relocate since they were exposed. It was time for her to start all the contingency plan simultaneously!
