Honkai: Man(Sludge) From Future

Chapter 312: Noldrei: Brother Kevin, I'll Take You on a Hunt for the Finality!

The ancestor decisively intervened.

He couldn't let these people continue their foolishness. He had to come down hard on them.

But when he appeared, Noldrei's group of four was momentarily stunned.

Durandal looked back and forth between the two nearly identical figures, unable to tell if they were the same person.

They looked too much alike, except one seemed to be a young man, while the other still had the appearance of a teenager.

"My name is Kevin Kaslana. Hello, warrior of the new civilization."

Kevin extended his hand to Noldrei. He believed this leader must be humanity's strongest warrior of the current era; otherwise, he wouldn't have been sent to pioneer the Sea of Quanta.

"You really are a human from the Previous Era... My name is Noldrei. I currently have no surname."

The two identical figures shook hands. The scene felt somewhat strange to Kiana, like watching a very comical pantomime.

"To enter the Sea of Quanta, your strength must have reached that level. Or perhaps you've undergone an immersion similar to the Sea of Quanta. Only then can you avoid being rejected by it. Did you use a similar method to get in somewhere?"

Kevin didn't seem like a difficult person to talk to, but his face was a bit cold, lacking Noldrei's vibrant energy.

Bronya had undergone the X-10 atomic-level experiment, and Durandal had taken a swim in the sea. As for the other two, their bodies were on the level of an eldritch god like Noldrei, divine forms that could traverse time and descend into the past.

"The influence of the Sea of Quanta doesn't affect us much. I've injected this little one with the power of the Herrscher of Death, so she's immune to external damage. As the weakest member of our team, if she's fine, then we'll all be fine."

Noldrei briefly explained their group's situation. The Sea of Quanta posed no threat to the four of them.

Kevin pondered for a moment before asking, "How do you plan to find a parallel world?"

Noldrei answered seriously, "I have some experience with this. We just need to continuously send out powerful enough energy vibrations in the Sea of Quanta, and the parallel worlds will be drawn to us, instead of us having to find them."

Kevin carefully considered the meaning of Noldrei's words and quickly understood the reasoning behind his actions.

He mused for a moment, "Like the ripples in water attracting fish? But according to that theory, wouldn't that mean the directions of the worlds are alive?"

To his surprise, Noldrei said, "They are alive. Since they're parallel worlds, it means there's no theoretical distance in the traditional sense. Vibrations in the Sea of Quanta will cause ripples in the surrounding cognition and existence, which will further attract the observation and deflection of parallel worlds."

"Theoretically, the key to entering a parallel world isn't the existence of an 'anchor point' as you mentioned, Durandal. It's whether their perception of us meets our needs. As long as someone perceives our situation, I can use cognitive infiltration to reverse-descend into a life will in that world."

Durandal subconsciously frowned. She felt as though she had seen Noldrei's method of operation somewhere before, but she couldn't recall where.

"I see. So you're using the method of the Honkai creating a Herrscher to enter a parallel world?"

Kevin cut straight to the heart of the matter. This was using the Honkai's method to invade a parallel world. By interfering with physical reality, they would make people observe the Honkai, thereby achieving the result of a spiritual descent into reality.

This was—the Honkai!

"If you still don't understand, you can think of it another way. It's like consciousness projection. By projecting his consciousness, he can implant his thoughts into another lifeform, thus completing the creation of a new consciousness. This is how the Honkai creates a Herrscher's consciousness."

Kevin's words brought a flash of enlightenment to Durandal. She finally knew why it had seemed so familiar.

She never would have thought they would need to borrow the Honkai's method to invade a parallel world.

"Then..." Durandal was hesitant about this method.

"Doesn't that make us the Honkai?!" Kiana, on the other hand, felt no such hesitation. The thought of playing the role of the Honkai in another world immediately sparked her interest.

The ancestor Kevin truly hadn't expected this group to be so eager. It seemed there was no way to stop this catastrophe for the people of another world.

He could only hope they would be able to hold out a little longer.

"Yes, we are using the Honkai's method of conscious descent. If I remember correctly, Schicksal has a similar device, but it probably can't pinpoint parallel worlds."

Noldrei wasn't sure if Schicksal's technology was viable. If someone else could perform a similar consciousness mapping, it didn't seem too difficult to handle.

"It should be possible, but we're generally not sure if what we find is a Bubble Universe or a normal parallel world."

The so-called Bubble Universe was the thing inside Durandal's stomach. Noldrei had seen it before. The saying "a prime minister's belly is big enough to sail a boat in" was no joke.

After discussing it with his people, Noldrei prepared to attract a parallel world. As for how many flowers and weeds he might sweep up in the process, that was none of his concern.

"By the way, Kevin, do you want to go back? The Eye of the Deep hasn't closed yet, and the City of the Deep is still operational. You can go straight in."

"Hey, aren't you worried he's a dangerous outsider?" Kiana, by contrast, was not so trusting of Kevin. After all, he had appeared out of nowhere. You couldn't just believe everything he said, could you?

Kevin was silent for a long time. He felt he couldn't let Noldrei run rampant. Otherwise, he would go back and be just about to execute Project Stigma, only to have this guy show up with an army of the Herrscher of Finality.

Who would he reason with then?

"I will go with you. The Honkai is dangerous. I can't let you act so recklessly."

Kevin considered it for less than three seconds before deciding what to do next.

"You won't interfere with our actions, will you?"

Bronya was worried this outsider would fight with Noldrei.

"If necessary, I will."

Kevin answered truthfully.

"See? This is the virtue of honesty. Kiana, my Crown Princess, you must study this well in the future." Noldrei never missed an opportunity to guide the Crown Princess's learning and growth.

He then instructed Kevin:

"You just follow me and we'll find the Herrschers of the parallel worlds. The more you contribute, the more Herrscher Cores or Divine Keys you'll get. Don't worry about the harvest from just one or two trips. I still have to help my little bro find his 'little wife.' Just watch my little tricks!"

His Majesty the Emperor was about to invade the minds of other lifeforms.
