She had already suspected that her adversaries were not merely these merchants—they lacked such audacity. However, she did not anticipate the involvement of a Herrscher.

Based on Xia Chen's intelligence, this Herrscher of Dominance differed from others; it lacked conventional individual combat capabilities. Instead, it could control others through some unique means, effectively assuming their identities.

Much like a virus infiltrating a vast computer database, without proper firewalls, the infection would spread uncontrollably.

Naturally, identifying the Herrscher of Dominance and its controlled individuals would be relatively straightforward.

Schicksal, being such a formidable organization, couldn't be easily dismantled. Moreover, the Herrscher of Dominance seemed intent on controlling the world rather than destroying it, which required significantly more effort.

However, another Authority of the Herrscher of Dominance caught Rita's attention.

They could construct their bases within an alternate dimension and communicate with each other through this space.

Without relying on channels or electromagnetic waves, all their connections existed in a seemingly 'nonexistent' realm, akin to telepathy.

Nothing in this world is beyond explanation through physics.

Herrscher powers have an absolute upper limit, which is directly tied to the level of human civilization.

This was a conclusion no one had ever reached before: The Authorities wielded by Herrschers were not direct derivatives of absolute physical laws, but rather the sum of rules within domains that human civilization has mastered.

If humans cannot destroy the sun, then neither can a Herrscher.

If humans cannot obliterate the moon, then neither can a Herrscher.

If humans cannot annihilate Earth, then neither can a Herrscher.

Thus, even with mastery over all Authorities, their power's limit is constrained by the extent of knowledge and control humanity possesses in those domains—this defines a Herrscher.

It is a limitation imposed by the Imaginary Tree.

Of course, Finality might be an exception.
