"Hey there! Welcome to the Elysian Realm. Wow, Hua, after all these years, you've become even cuter."
The moment Xia Chen, Raven, the Herrscher of Sentience, and the martial idol entered the Elysian Realm, a vibrant and enchanting girl appeared, reminiscent of blossoming flowers.
Before Xia Chen could react, he saw the Herrscher of Sentience enveloped in a pink fairy's embrace, being gently squeezed. "Wow, wow, wow, it's been five whole millennia since we last met! Although I see you every day here in the Garden, seeing how beautiful you still are after fifty thousand years truly makes me overjoyed."
Xia Chen instinctively glanced at Raven.
Raven stepped back, "Don't look at me, I don't know her either. She's probably one of the Heroic Spirits."
It was unsurprising that Raven didn't recognize Elysia, as she only appears before cute girls. With Raven always wearing a hat and concealing her face, she wasn't Elysia's preferred type.
Finally, the Herrscher of Sentience managed to break free from Elysia's embrace.
"Hey, I don't recall us being this close," protested the Herrscher of Sentience.
If Fu Hua's original personality remained intact, she wouldn't have minded Elysia's playful advances. However, as the Herrscher of Sentience, her childlike demeanor found Elysia's behavior quite annoying.
"Eh, Hua, we haven't seen each other for years, I just wanted to catch up and chat." Elysia blinked innocently. "Could it be that you've met so many adorable girls out there, you forgot about me? I understand, dear Hua; after all, the outside world is truly enchanting."
The Herrscher of Sentience pouted. "Yes, I do know plenty of cute girls. What, are you interested too?"
"Absolutely! Did any of them come with you?" Despite Xia Chen and Raven arriving alongside the Herrscher of Sentience, Elysia pretended not to notice them—an undeniable testament to her obsession with appearance.
Xia Chen, on the other hand, felt relieved. If all Heroic Spirits in the Elysian Realm were as approachable as Elysia, then reviving Fu Hua might indeed be promising.
However, based on his limited memories from the Garden of Eden storyline in his previous life, few seemed to be this amiable. It appeared that every surviving Heroic Spirit had their quirks. Nonetheless, he had only encountered a handful, as before crossing over, he had only completed the first two chapters of the Eden arc.
The Herrscher of Sentience pursed her lips. "Do you really think Kevin would casually let anyone enter this place?"
"You're right; Kevin has always been quite disappointing," Raven couldn't help but turn away.
Although she didn't hold much respect for Kevin, as his subordinate now, hearing such criticism made her feel somewhat uneasy.
Xia Chen cleared his throat, not forgetting the main purpose at hand.
"Hello, Miss Elysia, let's focus on the matter at hand."
"Yes, let's discuss the important issue," agreed the Herrscher of Sentience. "I came here seeking advice on better strategies to combat Honkai. Although I am already formidable, there are still many things I do not understand."
This statement was true.
Despite being one of the Thirteen Heroes, Fu Hua had no knowledge about these matters, and thus, the Herrscher of Sentience, inheriting Fu Hua's memories, shared the same lack of understanding.
Xia Chen's plan involved finding Fu Hua's memory fragment within another Heroic Spirit, which could create an alternate identity for the Herrscher of Sentience. This way, she might perceive herself as Fu Hua's daughter or a distinct personality derivative, rather than Fu Hua herself.
With this approach, it would be possible for one body to house two souls, similar to Kiana and Raiden Mei's current situation.
However, the key challenge lay in constructing this new identity—how to achieve it?
Relying solely on Little Fuxi wouldn't be enough. Although she had spent the longest time with Fu Hua, her presence alone couldn't override the Herrscher of Sentience's memories.
They needed assistance from Fu Hua's fellow warriors.
"Hmm, you've come to the right person." Elysia blinked mischievously. "The method to counteract a Herrscher is quite simple - go on dates with them, make them blush, and they'll surrender without a fight."
Herrscher of Sentience remained silent, clearly unamused. This wasn't how you dealt with Herrschers before.
In truth, the changes unfolding outside astonished every Heroic Spirit in the Garden of Eden.
The arrival of two Herrschers together, along with Klein's information about additional Herrschers fighting for humanity, was almost unimaginable to those from the old era.
Reflecting too deeply could lead to a false sense that all their past efforts were futile.
Due to this revelation, the Heroic Spirits abandoned their traditional training approach, which required formal recognition to gain imprints. They understood that nothing was more crucial than addressing the Herrschers, so temporarily setting aside rules seemed justified.
Thus, they awaited in the grand hall. Not everyone shared this interest, however; only Memory Fragment Fu Hua, Kalpas, and Mobius were truly invested in the situation involving the Herrschers.
Even Raven did not anticipate such a response.
She had expected all Heroic Spirits in the Garden of Eden to maintain a distant and aloof demeanor.
Meanwhile, at Schicksal Headquarters.
With the Herrscher of Dominance crisis resolved, Schicksal did not find relief just yet.
The upper echelons were now divided on whether to hold certain individuals accountable for their actions.
During the chaos within Schicksal, many people had engaged in clandestine activities. Although they weren't directly influenced by the Herrscher of Dominance or even incited by it, driven by shortsightedness or arrogance, they participated in this divisive movement.
If there were only one or two individuals involved, handling them would be straightforward.
However, this time, whether due to early coordination by the Herrscher of Dominance or Schicksal's loss of popular support, no less than 37 national leaderships and various branch offices were implicated. Numerous factions had infiltrated these branches, acting like hunters lurking in the shadows, waiting for opportunities to topple the colossal organization that is Schicksal.
Punishing all involved could exacerbate the turmoil further. Rita didn't believe a single round of discipline would fully cleanse the situation; instead, it might provide others with reasons to exploit the unrest.
On the other hand, failing to punish anyone would lower the stakes of betrayal, potentially sowing seeds for future divisions.
For the first time, Durandal experienced the despair of being a leader. Compared to leading, she found herself more suited to being a pure warrior.
Under these circumstances, her only option was to seek help.
Following Amber and Rita's advice, Durandal stepped through the gates of House Kaslana—entrances that Schicksal's leaders had not crossed for many years.
As Rita explained it, compared to House Schariac, House Kaslana has always been seen as Schicksal's knight, but they possess even greater political acumen.
Despite Siegfried's incident, House Kaslana managed to safeguard their interests, demonstrating remarkable political wisdom.
Of course, it was hard to tell if Rita might have ulterior motives.
Accompanied by Rita, Durandal arrived at this unfamiliar place. Yet strangely, flashes of familiar memories flickered within her mind.
