Honkai: You're telling me this difficulty is from Honkai Impact 3?!

Chapter 565: Next Stop, the Mediterranean!

The moment she entered the room, Schrödinger also had a momentary lapse. Even though she had already seen a "fairy tale," when the scene of the lost land appeared before her eyes, she still fell silent.

Lost... if their civilization failed to overcome the Honkai, would it also be seen like this by future generations?

No... perhaps they wouldn't even see this scene. People would only see a newborn earth, and all traces of them would be buried by time.

"Query... is that... Ms. Schrödinger?" Kai froze the moment it saw Schrödinger. It was silent for a long time before asking in its crackling, electronic voice.

The unwavering voice somehow conveyed a sense of excitement.

"Yes, it's me." Schrödinger looked at Kai, her expression complicated. "I didn't expect... you all have truly matured... Congratulations."

"It is our honor, Ms. Schrödinger," Kai replied sincerely. "Please forgive me for being unable to salute you."

"There's no need for that," Schrödinger waved her hand. "I had no hand in the android project, and your creation has almost nothing to do with us... If you must thank someone, then go find Albert. She would call you her children..."

"Alright, now let's see how we can fix you up and take you with us..." Schrödinger approached Kai. The birds fluttered out of the nest on Kai's body, gliding to a nearby spot, watching as the ruthless, terrifying two-legged beast casually dismantled their home.

"Armor... no need to look, basically scrap. Same for the inner armor. The buffer layer also needs to be replaced. Ammunition storage is at zero, and the deformed ammunition detonated, damaging the launch port...

"Communication module damaged, language module damaged, processing module also damaged... hmm..." Schrödinger's expression was grave. She retracted her hand from tapping on its body and looked at Shu.

"The situation is very bad. Aside from the power module, almost all other modules are scrap. It's not that it can't be repaired, but replacing the entire body is more cost-effective and convenient."

"There are no replacement parts here. My suggestion is to remove this guy's head along with the power module and take it back to the train to connect with your Titan mechs."

"Can a TEMPEST-class mech be converted into a Titan?" Shu asked curiously.

"Of course not... During the design phase, the TEMPEST was a modification of the Titan. It just had its body modules replaced. Most of the systems are compatible."

Shu nodded, then looked at Kai again. "And you? Are you willing to have your body replaced?"

Kai seemed surprised that Shu would ask for its opinion. It paused for a moment before replying, "Response: Affirmative. I have no strict requirements regarding my own body."

"Suggestion: An android's data consciousness can be stored in the core. It would be more convenient to only carry the core or copy the data."

"Then can you still be sure that it's you?" Shu retorted. "Consciousness transfer and limb replacement are not the same concept."

Kai fell silent. Shu nodded at Schrödinger, then raised a hand towards Kai. "If you have a pain system, you have to tell me."

"Response: I do not."

"Good." Shu spread his fingers. A harsh screech of tearing metal sounded as the TEMPEST's battered body was torn apart, revealing the dim but still functioning power core within.

Countless wires were connected to the core, most of them dark and lifeless. Only a few were still maintaining stable functions.

Following Schrödinger's instructions, Shu waved his fingers. The lifeless wires disconnected from the core, leaving only the head connected to it.

Kai's head and core, still connected, slowly floated up from its scrapped body, hovering behind Shu like the wooden crates.

"That should do it. Next..." After finishing all this, Shu looked at the animals that had been watching the show.

It wasn't just Kai; he had to take these animals too.

Shu waved his hand again. All the animals in the room felt something envelop them, and then their bodies began to float uncontrollably.

Schrödinger watched the ground recede further and further away from her. She opened her mouth, but ultimately chose to just go with it.

This is pretty nice too... She closed her eyes peacefully.

Shu, who had just realized he had included Schrödinger in the group: "..."

Alright, you enjoy it...

Shu sighed helplessly and turned towards the elevator.

Fortunately, the elevator was big enough. It wasn't crowded at all even after fitting in so many animals.

Not long after, Shu returned to the train with his animal friends. He found an empty carriage and settled them inside.

The bear, which looked like a giant hamster, let out a confused roar from its small eyes. Shu raised a hand, and it felt like it should probably go back into hibernation.

So it took its cubs to a corner, curled up into a ball of fur, and fell asleep.

The deer was still a bit restless, but it wasn't the surroundings that were making it anxious; Shu had already calmed it down.

The reason for its anxiety was a certain white-haired furball that was circling it.

"So pretty..." Kiana sighed in admiration. She turned to Bronya. "Don't you think so too, Bronya?"

Bronya had, at some point, leaned against the large ball of fur in the corner. She gave Kiana a thumbs-up with a contented expression.

"The Bronya thinks this bear is cuter~" Bronya let out a long sigh and smiled.

She had found a creature as cute as a Homu. It was this little fat bear...

Kiana fell silent for two seconds, a shiver running down her spine.

Did Bronya know how cute her voice had just sounded? And where was that two-and-a-half-meter-long bear "little"?

Kiana complained in her heart, then her eyes fell on the several colorful birds... she thought she could probably catch them.

Shu stood to the side, two squirrels perched on his shoulders, gnawing on nuts in perfect unison.

"Alright, we're getting ready to depart," Shu said, not shooing the squirrels away. He looked up at the camera in the room. "Mei, start the train. It's time to head to the next stop."

"The next stop..." Kiana came back to her senses. She recalled the map she had seen. "I think the next stop is Cocolia Island, right?"

Shu nodded. Bronya opened her eyes.

"That's right. Next stop, Cocolia Island in the Mediterranean Sea."
