Rex was a newcomer to the infamous Five Tigers Guild, a name that struck fear in the hearts of many players. As the newest member, he had no choice but to follow orders, especially when standing beside someone like Victor, one of the guild's oldest and most ruthless veterans.

"I just… I'm a little worried about the reading test," Rex said hesitantly. "Shouldn't we answer the exam questions first, then deal with Lucas?"

Victor's thick black eyebrows furrowed.

Without another word, Rex shut his mouth, realizing he had overstepped.

Victor stared him down. "I've already cleared this instance once. Do you think you could pass today's listening test without me?" His tone was low, menacing. "Are you questioning my ability?"

Rex chuckled nervously. "N-no, of course not…"

Victor turned his gaze forward again.

"Aside from helping you through the dungeon, my main goal today is to make Lucas suffer. How dare he ignore our Five Tigers Guild…"

Because players couldn't attack each other outside the game, Victor had intentionally entered the same dungeon instance just to snipe Lucas from within.

Using the data they gathered beforehand, they navigated through the eerie school scenario until they reached the entrance of Lucas's dormitory.

"This is it," Victor said, standing before the door with a grin.

Spectators watching Victor's livestream were in an uproar.

"The Five Tigers Guild tracked down Lucas so fast!"

"Something already happened in his dorm… and now these guys are here to finish the job?"

"Lucas is doomed… it never rains but it pours."

Back in the blood-soaked dormitory, Lucas was having a tense standoff.

His roommate blinked in confusion. "My name? Didn't I already tell you?"

Lucas silently pulled out the kitchen knife he'd hidden.

"The kind of person I despise the most," he said coldly, "is the one who tries to betray me at the most critical moment."

The roommate's eyes widened. "W-what are you doing?!"

He stepped backward, clearly afraid.

But before Lucas could make a move—

A drop of blood hit his forehead.

Lucas tilted his head up.

More blood followed. It had already started dripping earlier, but now the flow intensified. The ceiling above him was soaked, and blood rained down from the cracks like a grotesque storm.

The roommate froze in terror.

But Lucas?

He turned away, ignoring his opponent entirely, and began scanning the room.

"W-what… what are you doing?" the roommate asked, baffled.

Lucas didn't answer directly. Instead, he muttered:

"Looking for an umbrella. Blood dripping like this for no reason… I don't feel safe."

The roommate stared at him, absolutely dumbfounded.

Just a moment ago, this man looked ready to stab him. Now he was more concerned about finding an umbrella?

Dong, dong, dong—

Three heavy knocks rattled the door.

The roommate turned sharply toward the sound, already tense from everything that had happened.

Outside the dorm room, Victor pressed his ear to the door.

He could hear faint voices inside but no footsteps approaching.

"Really? You're gonna pretend you're not in there?" he muttered.

Switching tactics, he pounded on the door harder.

Clang! Clang!

"Lucas! I know you're inside! Open the damn door!"

Inside, Lucas heard his real name and sighed.

"You really want me to open it now?" he asked.

Victor furrowed his brow. What kind of question was that?

He shouted back.

"OPEN UP NOW OR I'LL KILL YOU!"

Rex was just preparing his own intimidating line when—

Click.

The door creaked open.

Rex froze mid-gesture, his hand still raised.

There stood Lucas, his appearance altered by the system. He looked at them curiously, as if surprised to see anyone there.

He held a large black umbrella overhead, shielding himself.

"Who are you?" he asked, tilting his head.

Victor's eyes shifted. First to Lucas, then to the interior of the dorm.

What he saw stunned him.

Blood was dripping from nearly every inch of the ceiling.

Only a few patches remained untouched. Beds, floors, desks—all soaked in crimson red.

Victor's eyes narrowed. "Wait… where are your roommates?"

Lucas said nothing. But Victor already knew the answer.

The blood had drowned the room. None of the others were alive.

Inside the room, the only safe spot was where Lucas stood beneath his umbrella.

He hadn't been touched by a single drop.

Bleeding rain… but not a drop stained him.

Victor's mouth opened slowly.

"What the hell is going on…?"

The surviving roommate, huddled on his blood-soaked bed, dared not approach Lucas. Instead, he called out to Victor.

"It's bad! There's someone upstairs—must be a killer! The blood is leaking from above!"

Rex went pale.

"W-when I looked into Lucas's dorm before we came," he stammered, "I was told the floor above… has no tenants."

Silence fell.

Four people. One room. No one had an explanation.

Victor's once-overflowing confidence now flickered.

He stood frozen at the threshold, eyes darting between the blood and Lucas.

Rex nudged him. "Brother, are you… are you scared?"

Victor snapped, "Of course not!"

But the way Lucas stood calmly under the black umbrella, unmoved by the horror around him—

That shook him more than he dared admit.

Then, Lucas finally broke the silence.

"I see it now," he said, lifting his head.

All eyes turned to him.

Holding the umbrella high, Lucas looked almost… fascinated.

"It's a snowy day. That's what this is. A snowy day made of blood."

His voice was low and calm, but his eyes gleamed with an eerie light.

From the perspective of the stream viewers, it was pure chaos.

"What the hell did he just say? A snowy day of blood?!"

"I thought Lucas was the sane one! What is going ON in that dorm room?!"

"Dude has lost it. Or maybe he's cracked the test?!"

Victor, for the first time in a long while, hesitated.

He hadn't expected this. Not the blood. Not the corpses. And definitely not the man standing untouched in the middle of it all, holding an umbrella indoors like it was a normal Sunday morning.

He leaned slightly back from the door, unsure if he should proceed.

Meanwhile, Lucas just smiled, humming softly to himself.

As if none of it mattered.
