How Kurama Leads Naruto Astray

Countless tailed beast bombs exploded in the sky like fireworks. Kazahana Doto looked grimly at the scene below. The tailed beast bombs were so powerful that if one hit him directly, it could easily break his chakra armor, and all he could do was dodge.

Fortunately, his chakra armor was flexible enough in the sky. While it couldn't withstand the full force of a tailed beast bomb's explosion, the shockwave wasn't a problem.

After all, they were just small tailed beast bombs.

"But this won't work," Kazahana Doto muttered as his expression darkened. The powerful force of a tailed beast bomb sent him flying, and while he avoided the direct hit, he turned and quickly moved away from his original spot.

At this rate, he couldn't counterattack at all.

"This kid's chakra seems endless. Am I the one who will run out of energy first?" Kazahana Doto found it hard to believe. This brat had used so many shadow clones and kept using large-scale Ninjutsu like tailed beast bombs.

He wasn't showing signs of fatigue, in fact, he seemed to be getting more energetic.

As Kazahana Doto thought this, he wasn't careful enough and a tailed beast bomb landed near him. He flipped to avoid the direct explosion, but the resulting windstorm knocked him off balance.

"Nice!" Naruto yelled, "Everyone, keep it up! This guy can't last much longer!"

Kazahana Doto finally managed to stabilize himself, but his expression darkened again. He clenched his fists and looked down below. "No, I need to get closer to this guy. Otherwise, I can't keep dodging for much longer."

With that thought, Kazahana Doto flipped in the air, dodging another tailed beast bomb, and quickly shot toward the ground. As he moved, he began forming seals with his hands: "Ice Style · Nadare Rouga!"

A massive ice wolf formed on the ground, roaring as it charged at Naruto, tearing through the shadow clones that couldn't withstand much of the attack. In just one exchange, they vanished in a puff of smoke.

Kazahana Doto landed on the ground, folding the wings of his chakra armor. He quickly accelerated and charged toward the countless shadow clones surrounding him. "Are you really going to use that powerful Ninjutsu at such close range?"

Forcing someone in chakra armor into close combat—it was kind of impressive that Naruto could do this.

Kazahana Doto was furious now. He wasn't thinking clearly anymore. All he wanted was to tear Naruto apart as quickly as possible and get his hands on the six-sided crystal.

Once he had that, he would be invincible!

"I've been waiting for you!" Unexpectedly, Naruto wasn't surprised by Kazahana Doto's descent. Instead, he showed a look of, "I knew it."

Countless Narutos canceled their tailed beast bombs and pulled out kunai, shouting things Kazahana Doto couldn't understand as they charged at him, looking like a squad of reckless soldiers.

Well, shadow clones really didn't fear death.

Kazahana Doto, once an elite ninja, didn't panic when facing such a large number of attacks. With a cold expression, he moved like a giant wolf tearing apart a flock of sheep, shredding through Naruto's clones.

The sound of shadow clones vanishing echoed in the snow, and the violent chakra seemed to flow through the entire field.

"Rasengan!" From behind, Naruto, holding a Rasengan, charged forward. However, as soon as it appeared, Kazahana Doto grabbed him and slammed him into the ground with all his strength.

The vibrant colors of the Rasengan dissipated in the air, and Naruto turned into smoke.

"What a troublesome kid," Kazahana Doto muttered, his face still dark. Since the beginning, his expression hadn't brightened. "Is hiding behind shadow clones your only trick? Is that how you fight as a ninja?"

"Yeah," Naruto nodded in response.

Kazahana Doto's face darkened again. "Don't you have any pride as a ninja? Hiding and running around like this—can you really call yourself a ninja?"

"Hello, I do," Naruto replied politely. "I actually passed the ninja exam to become a genin of Konohagakure. But how about you? Did you ever take the exam? Who even recognizes you as a ninja?"

Kazahana Doto clenched his fists tightly. If looks could kill, it seemed like the hundreds of Narutos around him would drop dead under his gaze.

Unfortunately, Kazahana Doto didn't have that kind of ability.

Naruto gave a sly grin: "No way, no way! Could it be that someone didn't even pass the ninja exam? Oh wait, you didn't fail—it's just that Land of Snow never even had a ninja exam to begin with, hahahaha!"

The situation got tense, the punch was completely stiffened!

Kazahana Doto's eyes filled with bloodlust, his killing intent was clear: "You little brat! You're going to regret what you just said!"

"Ice Style: Twin Dragons Blizzard!"

Two huge black dragons roared and charged toward Naruto, twisting and coiling as they attacked.

"It's not over yet!" Kazahana Doto's hand seals were fast, his movements leaving behind afterimages. "Ice Style: Wolf Fang Blizzard!" (Original)

Even more powerful than Nadare Rouga, the force seemed to make the snow and ice of the entire land turn violent, as chakra-controlled waves of snow surged, forming an avalanche several meters tall. 

But upon closer inspection, it wasn't just snow—it was a massive army of giant snow wolves, each several dozen meters high!

"Wow, that's strong! Too strong!" Naruto, standing in the distance, couldn't help but admire the scene. He then clapped his hands on the ground. "Kurama!"

The seal space Kurama rolled his eyes but still followed Naruto's request, sending out chakra.

"Let's try out the Ninjutsu Kurama 'borrowed' from Shukaku!" Naruto yelled. "Magnet Release: Sandstorm Grave!"

"Say that again!" Kurama grinned.

The tailed beasts were all from the same origin, so how could that be called borrowing? It was more like converting fragments into unity!

A massive wave of yellow sand rose, breaking through the snow with raw chakra force, forming a sandstorm in front of Naruto.

The yellow sand wave stood at least several dozen meters high, clearly visible against the pure white snow of the Land of Snow.

The sand and snow waves collided, their immense power flooding the entire area. If Kazahana Koyuki's father hadn't thought ahead and taken disaster prevention into account during construction, the place might have already been destroyed.

However, since this was a hasty use of power, it was still not enough to match Kazahana Doto, who had much higher proficiency. After their clash, the yellow sand wave was visibly pushed back by the snow.

Even so, just stopping it was enough.

Kazahana Doto gritted his teeth. "Even if you've dealt with this, there's still another Ninjutsu you have to block!"

Two massive black dragons howled, circling around the sandstorm. It seemed as though they were two monstrous beasts, trapping Naruto in the center.

Naruto grinned, "If it were just me, I couldn't block it, but I'm not alone!"

"Kurama!"

The red figure leapt from the snow, and Naruto's shadow clone appeared with a big, healthy grin, three tails swaying behind him.

"Cheer up, Kazahana Doto! I'm here to bring you some warmth!"
