Chapter 25: From Elite to Eww

1. JULIUS REINBERG (WISTORIA: WAND AND SWORD)

Is this, like, for real? Seriously?

Draco just got his first card from the spin and he was totally confused. Like, super surprised.

It's already been a month since the last spin. Reckon ten days of that were spent in some medieval fantasy world, so we're talking twenty days here, max.

Draco pinched the bridge of his nose.

"This guy's like my evil twin from another animation studio."

And he doesn't even seem all that powerful, does he? Draco remembered the chap's ice magic being rubbish compared to the female lead. What a joke, honestly.

"Well, something is better than nothing," Draco mumbled. "At least I got a mage."

2. BLACKWHIP (MHA)

It could be useful… just not in the way Izuku used it to become anime Spider-Man.

After all, Draco didn't have superhuman strength.

He'd definitely need to train to control it properly. A one-meter reach could easily overshoot into a wild, seven-meter grab if he wasn't careful.

Still, it had potential. Unpredictability had its perks.

"Not bad," Draco said, flexing his hand. "Could be a nasty little surprise for someone."

3. POKÉMON PICTUREBOOK (POKÉMON)

A glowing book appeared, filled with hand-sketched Pokémon.

Just a picture book.

"Brilliant," Draco muttered. "All I need now is crayons."

4. ITACHI'S ANBU MASK (NARUTO)

Draco held the mask in his hand.

He stared at it for a second.

Cool enough, but…

"Well, I don't like him," Draco said. "But I like his powers."

That went for Itachi, Minato, Naruto, even Jiraiya. Powerful? Sure. But their behaviour? Nah.

Tobirama, Orochimaru, and Madara made far more sense to him.

"Tobirama's racist? Fine. So are most people when their brothers are killed in a thousand-year blood feud."

"Madara wants to destroy peace? As if peace existed before him. Kids were being trained to kill at five. Brainwashing is just called 'ninja tradition' over there."

"And Orochimaru doing experiments? Please. As if the Hokage didn't know. Don't tell me he secretly had no idea that children were being used in rituals while he sat in the same village. Also, people act like child experiments are some fantasy villainy. Real-world governments test food and medicine on people too."

He shook his head.

"Whatever. This story isn't about Naruto anyway."

Huh? Did I say something?

Forget it.

5. FIRESTORM CALAMITY (CHAR'DEI DIROU) (RE:MONSTER)

I remember this one. It's the series where some dude reincarnates as a goblin, but with his past life's cheat powers still intact.

Pretty entertaining. Not a masterpiece, but decent enough for killing time.

The only annoying bit? He got way too overpowered way too quickly. Like, seriously. Second evolution and suddenly he's melting armies.

Still… the card I pulled from that world?

Definitely useful.

It's a high-tier fire spell that creates and launches multiple fireballs. The size and number vary based on the caster's magical ability.

And the best part?

I already know the incantation.

"Now it's just a matter of pushing it further. Let's see how far I can take it."

A decent AoE spell in my arsenal. Flashy and functional.

6. PUNISHER VEST (MARVEL)

7. YUTANI ALIEN SUIT (SUBWAY SURFERS)

Stylish. Probably useless.

8. LOID FORGER (SPY X FAMILY)

Well, this one's a bit of a surprise.

But not a bad one.

"Loid Forger… huh."

This should help me become more disciplined and precise. His skill set overlaps a bit with my Bullseye template, sure, but there's a key difference.

The Bullseye card I pulled isn't the version of an elite, seasoned mercenary. It's more like someone just starting out in the underworld. Still sharp, but raw.

Loid, on the other hand, brings in refinement. Precision. Planning.

He's not just a fighter. He's a strategist.

A master of infiltration, deception, and tactical thinking under pressure.

And if I remember right, he could process so much information at once that even Anya, a literal telepath, had trouble reading him.

Now that's the kind of mind I want in my toolkit.

"Time to upgrade from acting cool to actually being cool," Draco muttered, cracking a half-smile.

9. 2000 GALLEONS (HARRY POTTER)

It seems luck really is with me today.

"Not bad," Draco muttered.

Money always helps. Especially magical money.

Still, part of him couldn't help but feel a little greedy.

"Would've been better if it was Dumbledore… or Grindelwald… or literally any of the legendary wizards from the past," he added with a sigh.

10. STEWIE GRIFFIN'S USED DIAPER (FAMILY GUY)

"Ewwww… WHAT THE HELL?!"

Draco gagged.

"Trash. Absolute trash."

"Seriously, what am I supposed to do with this? Weaponise the stench? Curse someone with bowel rot?"

He shook his head in disgust.

Still, he couldn't deny the round had been good overall. A decent haul, even with that abomination of a card.

Without wasting time, he slotted the ice mage and the government spy into the Assimilation matrix.

"Now then," he muttered, tapping the interface.

It buzzed softly, beginning the long, slow integration process.

"Looks like I'll need to start working harder if I want Assimilation to speed up."

He exhaled, already planning out the next few days.

Training, testing, refining. There was no shortcut.

Not if he wanted to get ahead of everyone else.
