Chapter 321: Chapter 321 : Credence 3
Orion stood in the shadows of the vampire hideout, his senses sharp as he prepared to raid the place. After exhausting all other options, this was his last hope to find any lead on Eric. The abandoned building stood silent, the moon casting eerie shadows across the cracked walls. He knew this was a desperate move, he rather not make too many big moves in the past but he was desperate at this point. Finding the whereabouts of Eric was much much harder than he anticipated.
'If only that bastard told me where he was at this time... sigh. I hope that all this was worth it or I'm gonna lose it.' Orion was angry, dangerously angry to the point he intended to incinerate the blasted picture when he went back.
If possible he rather just not stay here in the presence of this Vampire, and directly burn them all to ashes but he can't do that, he needed to catch someone high up in the vampire hierarchy to get any information on Eric's whereabouts.
He moved swiftly, breaking through the old entrance without a sound. The air inside was stale, thick with the scent of decay and emptiness. Orion's irritation grew as he searched the place, expecting resistance, yet finding none. The hideout, like so many others, was abandoned.
"Son of a bitch... I'm gonna kill that broker." Orion mutters with clear irritation on his face. He even paid in advance to find the whereabouts of Vampires but he found none.
He searched every room, every hidden corner, but there were no signs of life. No vampires, no clues, nothing. His frustration boiled over as he realized this was yet another false lead, another wasted effort in his pursuit of Eric.
Orion clenched his fists, the disappointment and anger clear on his face. It felt like every step he took brought him further away from the answers he sought. He left the hideout in silence, disappearing into the night once more, determined but increasingly frustrated. This hunt was turning out to be far more elusive than he had anticipated.

After the failed raid on the vampire hideout, Orion was seething with anger. His patience was wearing thin. The broker who sold him the false information about the hideout was about to get an earful. He stormed into the magical market in New York, his mind set on finding that broker and demanding answers.
The market bustled with people, but Orion didn't care. As he made his way through the narrow, winding streets, he overheard something that caught his attention. Conversations buzzed around him, and one particular phrase stuck out: "A monster terrorizing New York at night."
He paused, listening more carefully. A group of wizards were discussing it in hushed tones, clearly worried. According to them, the creature appeared only at night, leaving destruction in its wake. More importantly, this was happening in front of the Muggles. Which particularly created a problem for the American Ministry of Magic.
Upon hearing this, Orion forgets his anger and irritation for a few seconds and his mind goes to the movie plot which he barely remembers at this point.
Orion's thoughts immediately went to Credence. Orion knew from his knowledge of the magical world that Credence was an Obscurus he was planning on helping Credence somehow. He might have a solution for this problem if only he used some of the knowledge he learned under Merlin.
The raw, destructive power of Credence who is an Obscurus was dangerous not only for others around him but even for Credence himself.
Orion's anger towards the broker faded, replaced by concern for the boy. "It has to be him," Orion muttered to himself. "He's losing control."
'But why? I tried so hard to befriend him and loosen his mind every time I talked with him
He felt conflicted. Part of him wanted to track down Grindelwald, who he knew from his memory was after Credence. But what help that will do, he made sure that Grindelwald wasn't anywhere near the Orphanage so that only a future problem which he had to deal with nothing to do with right now.
"Maybe that Wizard..." Orion pondered, he looked after the man who come to talk with Credence before. He was Percival Graves, not sure what that man got to do with Credence but now Orion was thinking that he needed to look into what they talked about personally.
Orion thought about what to do next. On one hand, he could confront Credence directly and reveal who he was. Maybe that could help the boy gain some control over his Obscurus power. On the other hand, if Grindelwald was nearby, Orion had to move carefully. Facing him would be troublesome, he could beat him easily but the fight alone would draw much attention from towards him, attention which he didn't want right now.
Orion sighed, running a hand through his hair as he paced in thought. "I need to stop this before it gets worse," he whispered. "Credence is powerful, but he's also vulnerable. And if Grindelwald is already here in New York, things could spiral out of control fast."
His decision was made. First, he would find Credence and reveal his true identity to him. Credence needed someone to trust, someone to stop him from converting into that Obscurus.
'Though I can only forcefully stop him, I need someone who knows more about Obscurus to stabilise mind. Overpowering him is fine and all but if possible I rather help Credence to learn more about his own power, so that he doesn't need him around all the time to prevent him from going berserk.' Orion thought and then started to think of anyone who can help him.
And soon a name came to his mind. Someone who might not only help him with Credence but also in Eric's case.
"Well, seems like every time I come here, the world connects our paths…" Orion smiled and started plotting.
