Chapter 32: 7
Percy Jackson
Percy fell asleep long after Silena and woke up well before she did as well. For maybe twenty minutes, he lay there with Silena, relaxing as he watched the gorgeous young woman she softly snored into his chest.
Deciding that it was only appropriate that he showed his appreciation for last night, he carefully slipped out of bed and pulled on some swimming trunks.
In Percy's humble opinion, making breakfast for a lady was a skill that any man should have, and one he had taken care to acquire after getting his first blowjob from Annabeth after the war.
That had motivated him to attend a cooking workshop together with Travis Stoll, who had apparently gotten to tap Katie's ass without being able to offer a suitable breakfast the next morning and wished to change that. Seeing as Percy managed to prepare a half-decent omelet and bacon breakfast with a glass of orange juice on the side for both Annabeth and now Silena, the time and effort invested had definitely been worth it.
This time it was he who brought his roommate breakfast. Percy quietly entered the room and closed the door behind him. Then he approached the bed where Silena was still fast asleep , hugging his pillow to her chest. Percy put his large plate down on the bedside table and sat down on the mattress.
Suddenly the daughter of Aphrodite jerked awake and sat bolt upright in bed, looked around for a few moments, and then over at him in confusion. Silena's cheeks turned bright red as her memories caught up with the present. Or was it because her blanket had slipped down as she sat up, and her milky white breasts shimmered in the morning sunlight? Naked and with her messed up hair...well Silena looked very cute. For a moment, Percy considered kissing her but thought better of it.
Silena smoothly pulled the blanket up to cover her chest and smiled sheepishly. "Ahm, thanks," she said sheepishly and picked up one of the orange juice glasses and took a sip while pinning the blanket to her chest with her free arm. As she took the first sip Percy sat down on the opposite side of the platter with his legs crossed.
"Do you want me to leave and let you get dressed?" Percy asked.
Silena hesitated, then shrugged. "Don't bother," she replied and dropped the blanket, and revealed her breath again. For a hopeful moment, he thought that the daughter of Aphrodite would stay topless. Unfortunately, she instead leaned over, grabbed her discarded bikini, and pulled it on.
"Are you alright?" he asked.
Silena laughed awkwardly, her cheeks still suspiciously rosy. "Never better."
They dug in and Percy was pleased to find that Silena seemingly enjoyed the meal. It was nice to see his efforts being appreciated.
"This is good," she commented.
"So," Percy finally said. "We really need to talk about yesterday. What are we now?" he asked.
Silena shrugged. "I guess there is no getting around this. Percy, right now I'm in no place for a new relationship. Also between the two of us, you still have unfinished business with Annabeth. I hope you didn't see this as the start of a romantic relationship..."
"I didn't," Percy replied truthfully.
"Not that I didn't enjoy every minute of last night," Silena assured him hastily. "You were amazing."
Percy couldn't help but smirk, feeling rather pleased with himself. "So?" Percy asked. "So this was just a one-time hookup?"
The daughter of Aphrodite gave him a long, uncomfortable look that spoke volumes. "Am I correct if I assume that you would be interested in this not only being a one-time thing?" she asked cautiously.
Percy actually snorted. "You assume correctly. So, if I as your owner took advantage of our arrangement..."
"You would likely find me happy to oblige, provided you mind your manners..."
"So friends with benefits?" he asked and raised his glass.
Silena scowled and but bumped her's against his. "I really hate that term."
The sea god raised an eyebrow. "Is Master and slave better?"
Then the daughter of Aphrodite reached across and pinched his cheek. "How about we avoid casually labeling something this complicated and just reap the benefits of the situation we find ourselves in? So, what do you have planned for today?" she asked.
For a few short minutes, Percy pondered whether she was making a sexual innuendo and after realizing that she wasn't he shrugged. "I really want to visit camp today, would you like to join me?"
Silena paused his motion for a moment and then dropped the brush and put the glass bowl into the dishwasher. "Not particularly..." she replied.
"Why?"
She looked at him incredulously. "Neither I am in the mood to be shown off as a trophy, nor do I wish to put up with poorly veiled inquiries or assumptions about my life as a sex slave."
"Well, I wouldn't be showing you off," Percy reasoned. He lacked a counter to the second reason, not being too eager about that part himself.
"I don't think intention matters much, the effect would be the same," Silena pointed out. Percy, finding himself agreeing with her, didn't press the matter. Then a thought came to him. "I will take you to meet your father," Percy announced. "It is pretty safe to assume that he grieves for you with every passing day. We will not prolong his suffering."
"To-today," Silena stuttered.
"Today or tomorrow," Percy replied.
"And there is no way I can bribe you out of this?" Silena asked weekly.
Percy shook his head, grinning.
The daughter of Aphrodite sighed deeply. "Mind if I use your shower after breakfast?"
Percy grinned sheepishly. "Need help?"
"In the shower?" Silena inquired.
"Well yes," Percy confirmed, a cheeky smile on his face, his gaze lingering on her enticing form for a moment longer than could have been excused as casual. "It would be my pleasure to render you assistance."
"Not today, Sailor," Silena replied, a light laugh on her lips.
When Silena finally appeared from her shower, wearing one of his shirts and last night's leggings, her long hair was still dripping wet and breasts were clearly visible through the fabric of his shirt. What had Connor said? A girl wearing your shirt in the morning is akin to your flag waving over a conquered fortress. There was truth in those words. Ironic perhaps, because he was quite sure that Conner was a virgin.
"You've been busy," Silena noted after giving him a quick hug.
"Can't let you have all the fun," Percy replied. "I should get going then.."
The daughter of Aphrodite sighed deeply. "If you insist, I just don't know how to explain all of this."
Percy shrugged, "That sounds a lot like a 'you' problem." Then, as Percy headed for the door he hesitated for a long moment.
"Yes?" Silena asked, noticing that he had paused.
It wasn't a move his mother would approve of but Percy just couldn't resist. As he passed Silena, he playfully slapped her rear end. The sharp sound cut through the air like a whip.
The daughter of Aphrodite froze and then turned to glare after him. "Oh no, you didn't..." Fortunately could tell that she wasn't really angry.
So Percy only grinned back at her and left his old friend standing in the kitchen and left his new home behind.
The trip to camp Half-blood didn't take very long. A journey that only a few months ago might have taken hours now passed in only a few short moments. The magical item Apollo had given him to fast-travel to a limited number of places was already showing its worth and would continue to do so until he learned how to teleport on his own. Only problem, he had only gotten a few and they were one time use only.
With barely, any time lost the young god appeared at the foot of the Big House's steps, where his path had begun all those years ago. Where he had first met Chiron and Annabeth. There was, of course, a risk he'd meet her here but he could live with that.
"Hello, Percy. I figured you would return soon," Chiron greeted him kindly.
Percy grinned sheepishly. "We need to talk..."
After sitting down to lemonade Percy told his story for the fourth time and was slightly disappointed when Chiron seemed neither surprised nor overly shocked and figured that this wasn't the first time one of his former charges ended up as the prize of the other.
"Well, I must get to my master archery class," Chiron finally announced, tactfully steering clear of the Annabeth topic. "But we will continue this conversation another time."
He was pleased though to both not run into Dionysus and be free to move around Camp without a grand escort which was a real risk. It was still well within the school year and so camp wasn't as full as it could be but he was still happy to see both so many familiar and new faces. The older faces greeted him with enthusiasm, the others looked at him shyly, perhaps recognizing him from war stories shared at the campfire.
Percy's first trip took him to the arena where he both found the Hermes cabin going at it with swords, and Mrs O'Leary watching glumly from the corner. Perhaps the wind was with her, or she recognized his step pattern, but when he entered the Hellhound's head spun around to face the incoming god. A moment later the massive beast rose to its paws and charged straight towards him.
Percy cursed softly, having feared that this would happen. The Hellhound tore through the group of sparing Hermes campers, who dove aside or were knocked over like bowling pins, and then charged straight into Percy who had mere heartbeats to brace for the impact.
God or not, being barged into by something slightly larger and about as heavy as an Abrams tank, Percy was completely flattened. The last thing Percy saw before being knocked over were the hounds glowing red eyes. Then reality was completely dominated by the ludicrously wet tongue slobbering over his body as his pet greeted him with apparent eagerness.
Drenched from head to toe in saliva and almost deafened Mrs O'Leary's enthusiastic panting Percy could barely raise his arms in protest.
"Sit girl!" Percy tried to yell.
He was quite confident that if he weren't a son of Poseidon he would have drowned by now. Regardless, he was drenched from head to foot, despite his powers.
Percy managed to finally free himself and put an arm over the Hell Hound's neck and tried to playfully wrestle her to the floor. Being a god, he had strength far beyond that of a normal human. However, his Hellhound didn't seem overly impressed and playfully tossed him aside with a swing of her head. It was a gentle, playful swipe so it only felt as if he were hit head-on by well...a battle tank.
"Sit," Percy finally managed to wheeze and the massive hound froze and sat down and looked down at him panting, his tail wagging back and forth. His friends from the Hermes cabin back away wearily from the waving appendage.
"Hey girl," Percy greeted her and patted the hound's sternum to an even more eager tail wagging.
Suddenly the Hellhound bounded away to the far side of the arena, scattering the Hermes cabin once again before and returned with a large rubber toy with a loud squeak and dropped it at his feet, and then looked down at him expectantly.
Thanks to his superhuman strength was able to pick the toy up and toss it away the way he did. Fortunately for him, Mrs O'Leary chose to bound after it rather than ignore him. Despite all his combat training, Percy failed to see the overly enthusiastic tail coming that struck him in the chest, sending him crashing into the wall.
"Got you too?" Travis Stoll asked drily, helping Percy up as Mrs. O'Leary bound back over them and dropped the toy at his feet and looking back down at him expectantly.
Percy held out his hand and let the Hellhound nuzzle it. Fortunately for him, Ms. O'Leary had calmed down somewhat and he was allowed to stay on his feet.
"Yeah. How are you doing?" Percy asked.
The sun of Hermes shrugged. "Fine so far, lots of new Campers. Quite a few Romans shifted over here and the satyrs are bringing in more new blood on a daily basis. Would be easier if you were still around to get these folks into shape."
Percy grimaced apologetically. "Sorry. Believe me, godhood isn't as great as advertised."
Travis snorted. "I can imagine. Hey man, sorry about Annabeth. Saw her a few days ago, if it makes you feel better, she doesn't look too good."
"It doesn't," Percy replied.
"You should talk to her old boy," Travis announced.
"So everyone keeps telling me," Percy replied.
The son of Hermes sorted. "I can only imagine. Must be annoying if everyone still ships you and your ex. Do you even want her back?"
Percy raised an eyebrow that the son of Hermes shrugged. "Sorry, mate. Katie is rubbing off on me, turns out she is quite the gossip. She is also very opinionated on a few things..."
"What's her opinion on the Annabeth/me situation?"
Travis grunted under his breath and Percy noted that his friend and buffed out quite a bit. "Apparently Annabeth is having a case of the stupid. She and Will have come to the conclusion that you need to screw her brains out. They make it sound like it would solve most of the world's problems."
"Hey man, is practice over?" Conner called over.
"Get back to work!" Travis called back.
"Should I be worried about the amount of consideration my sex life has been getting?"
"Probably," Travis pulled out his sword. "Up for a round?"
"I was a better fighter than you when I was only a demigod," Percy reminded him. Travis swung his glowing bronze blade to loosen his wrist.
"I know, but I've been training hard over the last few months," Travis announced.
Percy uncapped Anaclosmus and moved into a ready position. "I can tell, you look great," Percy replied.
Travis grinned. "Who's talking dude, you look shredded. I'm not gay, but you make me consider playing for the other team."
"Don't threaten me with a good time!" Percy replied and playfully slapped Travis's shoulder.
The son of Hermes chuckled and moved into a ready position in time to parry a straight jab to his abdomen. They exchanged a quick flurry of blows and jabs and cuts. Travis had the advantage of a shield. Percy had the advantage of superior skill, superhuman speed, agility, and strength.
For a few minutes, they danced back and forth over the trodden sand floor before Travis was called over by a rookie camper, cutting their exchange short prematurely. Not soon later Percy was making his way through camp. Poking in with a few familiar faces, realizing that none of the seven were present... When he stopped by the Ares cabin Clarisse offered to beat him up...some things never changed and the threat of violence warmed his heart. Percy offered her to have a go at it but strangely enough, she didn't seem overly eager to try and deliver on her promise.
Unfortunately, Groover wasn't available but he did check in with Juniper. When he found her he learned that Groover was off on Council duties. Juniper unveiled this particular piece of information with a distinctly sour note in her voice.
"Are you doing alright?" he asked, for once reading the signs correctly.
"I'm fine,...it's just Grover now being a Lord of the Wild and he is getting a lot of attention from all sorts of nymphs. A few months ago I saw Mistletoe spying on him from above and that girl just can't say no."
The nymph glared at him as she leaned against the very same rocks that used to lead down into the Labyrinth, her thin arms crossed defiantly and her cheeks flushed dark green with anger.
"Darling, I know Mistletoe and you are a lot prettier than she is," Percy assured her. It wasn't a lie. With her dainty figure, elegantly slanted eyebrow, and pointed ears, Juniper was a natural beauty, if in an elfish way.
Juniper rolled her eyes, "I don't have that sluts breasts!"
"Juniper!" Percy exclaimed and the nymph blushed deeply and grinned, looking surprisingly pleased with herself. "You started using curse words? Really"
"What? Half the forest and camp has been in that one!" she spat and suddenly rolled her eyes, her fists balled.
"Yes, you heard right!" she then yelled into the forest.
"Juniper..." Percy shook his head in disbelief. "You are worrying me..."
The nymph dropped her gaze in embarrassment. "Forgive me, it's just those girls are completely shameless. They even pester us when he and I are trying to spend private time together. It used to be different,...simpler. Oh, and can you keep that hellhound of yours out of our forest? She makes everyone nervous around here!"
Percy shrugged. "Everything used to be simpler," he agreed and reached back to push aside Mrs. O'leary's snout before the hellhound could start licking him again.
The next stop he made was the stables. Even before entering the stables, he could listen in to the horse's conversations. Not that the matter required any elaboration but those who didn't speak horse would truly be disturbed if they knew what horses and pegasi talked about among themselves. True to his character Blackjack was the loudest, most foul-mouthed Equine present.
"Wait here!" he ordered Ms. O'Leary. "Sit girl!"
After repeating the order a few times the hellhound finally sat and looked down at him eagerly, towering at twice his height. Once confident that she wouldn't just straight-up run after him he turned around again to
"Hey, Boss!" The black Pegasi called out when he entered the stables.
"My lord," the other Pegasi hailed him and lowered their heads respectfully.
"You still stuck here, old boy?" Percy challenged as he walked down the row of stables only to stop in front of the stable his old companion occupied.
"Yes, Boss," the Pegasi confirmed and threw his head back in indignation.
"Ready to get out of here?"
Percy returned home feeling quite pleased with himself. He and Blackjack decided that it was best for the Pegasus to mostly roam until needed so he let Ms. O'Leary shadow travel them back to his glorious presence.
In hindsight he could have thought it through better yet for some reason he was surprised when he was greeted by a surprised shriek and an impressive amount of cursing as Mrs O'Leary materialized on top of a row of deck chairs, flattening them underneath.
"Fuck!" the familiar ever gentle voice of Thalia Grace bellowed.
When Percy rounded the hound from the front to start clear of its wagging tail taking on the serious risk of being licked again he found Silena, Thalia, and a handful of other huntresses on the other side, two of the huntresses half-buried under the large hellhound.
"Up girl! Percy ordered and rammed against the side of the hound with his entire weight to motivate her to slowly release the eternal maidens.
"Thalia?" Percy asked incredulously as he freed the two teenagers from their very lazy prison. After a few more seconds the squirming girls finally managed to free themselves.
"What are you doing here?" Percy asked the huntresses.
"Well, Thalia mentioned you had a pretty impressive bar..." one of the huntresses said.
"And we thought we'd pay it our respects," Thalia concluded.
"I swear I didn't let them in, they just pushed past me...Oh no..." Silena wailed, coming to a skidding stop in the doorway of the gym, wearing leggings and a tank top. Her eyes were wide with despair as she stared at the hellhound. "You brought a dog home?"
