HP: The Gacha Archmage

As we walked into the Great Hall we stumbled upon the ghost. Honestly I bet they do this every year just to scare the newbies. I tune them all out as I analyze the Great Hall. At the Head table I see Dumbledore, Sprout, Flitwick, Snape, Quirellmort, Kettleburn, Sinistra, Twelawney, and a few more I can't remember the names too.

Then at Gryffindor I can see the Twins, Percy, and the quidditch team as they are the only ones I remember. In Ravenclaw I see Cho Chang, Penelope Clearwater, and Marietta who betrayed everyone in the fifth year and bullied my Luna. Yes I am determined to make Luna Lovegood my girlfriend. At Hufflepuff I can see Tonks with her crazy hair. She should be in her seventh year. I also see Cedric and look he doesn't even sparkle maybe because there isn't any sun light. Lastly in Slytherin I see Marcus Flint. All of them I can recognize but the others never stood out much in the stories and movies or were just not mentioned at all.

Soon McGonagall comes back with a ratty hat who opened it's seams and began to sing, terribly. The rest of them applaud other than the first years of course.

"Now when I call your name come fourth and put on the Sorting Hat. Hannah Abbot"

A young girl goes up and places the hat on her head "Hufflepuff!

Then Susan Bones went up and was also a Hufflepuff. Soon Neville showed up and he was put in Gryffindor which I guess is him still wanting to meet his Grans expectations. Also Hermoine went to Ravenclaw. Draco, Crabbe and Goyle went to Slytherin. So on and so fourth until finally "Harry Potter"

As I strode forward I heard the whispers around me "Harry Potter?" "It's really him" "He looks so dashing" "He looks nothing like in the books" "Of course he is much more handsome!"

I merely smile slightly as I put on the hat. "Hm interesting. Yes I see loyalty to your friends and family a Hufflepuff trait. A thirst for knowledge but only for your ambitions. Bravery you have plenty of that. Cunning, a lot of it and ambition. You want to travel beyond this world and learn every magic. To become the greatest mage of all time! Interesting very interesting you could do well in any house but Slytherin would make you great."

"But it's not very cunning for a Slytherin to be in Slytherin. The most cunning wouldn't want to be in the house everyone already expects to cause mischief and chaos."

"You have a point but let me tell you one thing that might change your mind"

"Okay tell me then"

"Slytherin has individual rooms"

"Sold!"

"Best be SLYTHERIN!" the hat yells and for a while the great hall remains silent until suddenly a wave of applause comes from Slytherin House. I put the hat down on the stool and see Snape who looks like he just ate a very sour lemon which makes me laugh in my head.

I head to Slytherin when I can hear a loud obnoxious voice scream "How can he be a slimy snake! That traitor!" Of course I knew it was Ron and I even turned to glare at him as did most every other Slytherin or soon to be Slytherin student. I already know what punishment to give him. The Tantalus treatment. Now that does bring a smile to my face.

I then turn and continue to my table sitting beside Draco Crabbe and Goyle who make some room for me to sit down as the calls continue. Ron went to Gryffindor, and lastly Blaise Zabini to Slytherin

"Well done getting into the best House Harry." Said Draco who was sitting beside me. It seems all the first years sat in the same area of the table

"Thanks Draco"

Dumbledore stood up "Now that we are all seated I would like to say a few words. Those are Nitwit. Blubber. Oddment. Tweak. Thank you" he claps and all four tables are covered in food and drink. I heard in two fanfictions that those words meant something deeper but I can't remember what they were. Honestly I may have a great memory thanks to Essence of the Archmage but that is only after I became Harry Potter so it is still hard to remember things from my last life.

After serving up myself a nice plate of ham, mashed potatoes and gravy. I began to eat as discussion was talked about around me. Of course I didn't touch the pumpkin juice as grandfather explained it was used to hide the taste and smell of potions. Often used to trick children to take their medical potions "I would like some hot cocoa please" I say out loud and a large cup of hot cocoa, with marshmallows, appeared in front of me.

"Whoa how did you do that" asked Draco

"Easy, Hogwarts house elves were listening to my request."

"Hogwarts has house elves?" asked Crabbe

"Yes it has many house elves who cook all the dinner, breakfast, and lunch" Crabbe nods before going back to stuffing his face

I roll my eyes before eating my food elegantly like I was taught to by my grandfather. So far no one has said anything about me being in Slytherin and not Gryffindor as apparently people think I would be there as Dumbledores Golden Boy. At least from the surface thoughts I was reading, though I caught an older year think about first year prefects so that's a thing here. Let's see if they can keep to themselves when we get to the common room.

Sweet, not bad for my first template. Now I don't need an alchemy circle, though with Archmage I doubt I needed one anyway, but I still have to know the knowledge of other alchemy styles. Plus I get a cool Jacket/Cape. But since I do not know what will happen at the moment I decide not to equip it in public view.

MWAHAHAHAHA!! A full on Philosopher Stone along with all the rest of the notes and graphs will allow me to become the greatest in FMA Alchemy. I already have a vast amount of magic and incredible magic regen so I can now put that to heavy use. I wonder if making a Philosopher Stone out of Zombies is possible. After all my first world to travel too will be one of zombies since those can be pretty easy if you choose the right one.

With my mage sight active, I do keep it active for as long as I can which is always, I can see Rukh spreading around the Great Hall with me as the epicenter of the storm of Rukh

The Perfect Ham and Cheese Sandwich: As stated it is Perfect. Whether in taste or texture this sandwich is superb. No other Ham and Cheese sandwich will satisfy you after you eat this, ever.

Dumbledore stands again "Now that we are all fed and watered it is time for announcements. First off our caretaker Mr. Filch has once again asked me to announce that magic is not to be used in the halls. He also has a list of all banned Zonkos products outside his office and it is encouraged to read it" Did I just see him roll his eyes? "Now the Forbidden Forest is surprisingly Forbidden." he says glancing at the Weasley Twins. "Also the left side of the 3rd floor is off limits for those who do not wish for a gruesome death. We don't want to give Mr Filch more work" Okay that was a bit off. Is he saying the work would be cleaning up our remains? "Finally Mr. Potter now has a True Familiar thus he and his familiar are protected by law. Unless you want to be gored, on flame, sent to Azkaban or even die."

Well wasn't that a heartwarming speech, I think sarcastically. Though I didn't expect him to mention my familiar or that she would attack anyone who tried to harm her or me. All the students look at me wide eyed because it was announced I have a true familiar and the punishments for attacking her or me.

"You have a True Familiar?!" exclaimed Draco

I nod "You will see her back in the common room or in the morning." Next was the school song but let's skip that because of brain rot.

"AH music, far greater magic than we do here." I never really thought of pushing my magic into my music. I wonder what will happen if I do. "Now prefects will lead you too your common rooms. Off you trot"

Well Slytherin here I come.
