Chapter 415: Not Yet.
The demon itself was a disgusting-looking worm that had tied itself around Walburga's neck as its deep mouth with an uncountable number of sharp jagged shark teeth blared at Loki.
Deep dark blood leaked from the hollow eyes of the worm as it looked at Loki and he could swear he felt it curse him in the language of foulness.
"Did I disturb your stay my lord?" Loki asked in a humorous tone even though he could feel a sense of suppression from the higher sequence item that the demon was using.
*GRRRR*
Loki ducked just barely as he saw Walburga's arm swing over where his head had been moments prior.
Walburaga's nails had regrown but not humanly. They had regrown as dark black sharp claws like the ones demons had.
'Curses!'
Loki grabbed Walburga's hands and tried to move her back without damaging her, hoping to get her back to the coffin so that he could continue with the process of siphoning the life essence of the demon and push it all into Walburga.
But just as Loki wrapped his hands around Walburga's arm the demented demon acted with cleverness and speed that Loki had not expected!
The demon spat out like a fire extinguisher.
Except it didn't spit out carbon dioxide.
It spit out cursed black flames that aimed at cursing Loki directly.
Loki quickly left Walburga and rushed backwards, except to his shock and horror, Loki found his feet stuck to the floor.
The demon had used the Error pathway mystical item once again to deceive the laws of nature to trick it into fixing Loki's current position and the position he would've moved to, freezing him in place.
'Damnation!'
With not much he could do, Loki apologized to Walburga in his heart.
'I'm sure the black family has a method to regrow one's arms Grandma!'
'I'm sure I can even ask Madam Pomfrey to help fix you!'
'Or even that strange shopkeeper at ROB's store!'
With the jet of fire rushing through the air to burn Loki's head off, Loki suddenly twisted Walburga's arm upwards, snapping her elbow as he stuffed her entire hand into the demon's dastardly mouth!
With the demon shocked at its mouth having been suddenly stuffed, Loki acted immediately.
With a firm grasp on Walburga's body, Loki bashed his head into the demon, crushing its head to some extent with the immense strength his body had gained after becoming a demigod.
The head bash seemed to have stunned it further, as Loki quickly kicked Walburga in the stomach, launching her straight back towards the coffin as he flicked his wand and opened its lid to trap Walburga and the demon back inside.
But the demon required quicker than Loki could've imagined.
It acted with fierce determination, choosing to do the exact same thing to Loki as he had done to it before.
The crazy demon wanted to trap Loki in his own thoughts, forming a loop in his actions so that it could take advantage of the situation and immediately kill Loki.
The demon's act started with making use of Walburga since it had deep control over her body after the strange ritual Loki had enacted to siphon its life.
The demon expelled spirituality from Walburga's body to rapidly drag Loki into a dream so that his thoughts of escape could be stolen and he could be trapped in the dream forever until it killed him.
The demon though didn't know that Loki was connected to the Sefirah Castle and wouldn't lose his consciousness in the dream.
However, things didn't have to even reach that point.
Just like the demon had control over Walburga's body, Walburga had control over herself and it!
She had been a little startled by the sudden influx of pain and torture that had captured her and thrown her awake while she was inside the coffin, but now that things were becoming rather clear, she could see that the demon was trying its best to harm Loki!
And Walburga was not going to allow that!
As soon as the demon tried to drag Loki into sleep, Walburga acted almost on instinct and redirected her ability towards the demon itself and not Loki!
The demon was almost about to fall asleep, but having lived through the lives of several Darkness pathway Beyodners before, it had the perfect counter!
The demon used the Error Pathway Mystical item to deceive the ability Walburga used! Making it feel like it worked, when in fact it had done nothing to him!
Except, to the Demon's misfortune, Loki had finished his task.
Since the start of the ritual to transfer the demon's life essence to Walburga, Loki had never discounted the fact that the demon might escape the coffin at some point, so even though he was surprised that it had escaped, he was prepared for it!
Loki was prepared for it since he had already sent out worms of time from his Mythical Creature form to parasitize the Error Pathway item itself!
And although it had taken some time to do so since the item was made from a Beyonder Characteristic of a sequence higher than him, he was able to partially parasitize it, just enough to stop the Demon from using any of its abilities in the short future.
As such, Loki looked at the demon and whispered-
"Checkmate."
Loki lifted his leg again and kicked Walburga into the Coffin, flicking his wand immediately after as he locked Walburga inside the coffin once again.
"Bear through the pain Grandma!!"
"It is to return your life energy back to you!" Loki shouted as best as he could so that Walburga wouldn't think that Loki had betrayed her and try to stop the ritual.
Loki displayed his extraordinary control over runes and continued to mess with the coffin even as a thin puddle began to form under the coffin.
Loki noticed the blood but did nothing.
A little loss of blood wasn't much to a demigod.
The demented demon seemed to have woken up again once its life was being siphoned again, but Walburga made sure to keep it locked inside the coffin along with her.
The *screams* and *screeches* slowly died down and Loki finally stopped manipulating the runes on the coffin.
Without any help from Loki the coffin lid loosened before it slowly *creaked* open to reveal the person inside.
A pair of eyes suddenly opened in the deathly darkness inside the coffin. The eyes were pitch black and looked at everything around them with great intensity.
The eyes quickly focused on Loki since he was the only other being in the room and relaxed slightly.
Loki's grip on his wand tightened but he wasn't tense in the least. He was pretty relaxed. But he was slightly worried for Walburga.
"Lo-"
"Not now grandma!" Loki interrupted.
Before anything else could happen, Loki flicked his wand.
