The Celestial Spirit was a race from the Age of Gods, a unique race capable of transforming into weapons. However, they had gone extinct, and no one had seen them since the end of that era.

[ Description: The god part of the Heretic God's daughter named Hong'er. She was poisoned in the Era of Gods and had been unconscious ever since, waiting for someone to be found who could rid her of the poison and awaken her from her slumber. ]

[ Mission Objective: Absorb the poison from Hong'er and wake her up from her slumber. ]

[ Reward: 1M Sp, Skill: Heaven's Bane. ]

"But in return, I want you to acknowledge me as your master and swear loyalty to me," Yu Tian said, staring at Ling Mingyu's mysterious form.

"You want my loyalty..." Ling Mingyu said, surprised, as she hadn't expected such a request. "You should know that I am merely a remnant spirit, and even if I swear loyalty, I won't be able to remain in this world for more than two years."

Ling Mingyu's surprise was genuine as she spoke candidly with Yu Tian, knowing there was no point in swearing loyalty to someone if she was on the brink of death, even if the idea pleased her.

The Celestial Spirit race was one of warriors, and nothing brought them more joy than finding a master to fight alongside as their weapon. This especially applied to Mingyu, given that it was evident Yu Tian was no ordinary person.

"There is no need to worry, as once you swear loyalty to me, I will restore you to life," Yu Tian said indifferently. Despite realizing from fragments of his memories as a Nirvana Devil Emperor how impressive this feat was, with the system's help, it wasn't an insurmountable task.

"Restore me to life!!" Mingyu couldn't help but exclaim in shock, finding it difficult to believe her ears when she heard Yu Tian's words.

As for Jasmine and Karen, they remained calm, knowing about Yu Tian's ability to revive shards of the gods' souls, which was not surprising, especially after seeing Yu Ya and Feng Hua'er.

"That's right, so think it over well. Do you want to disappear as soon as your mission is complete or return to life and serve me?" Yu Tian said as he sat casually next to Hong'er's coffin, opened it, and began treating her.

Although Yu Tian wanted Mingyu's loyalty, he would assist Hong'er no matter her response, as she was too important to be neglected and left for a new Favored Child of Heaven to claim.

With a light tap of Yu Tian's finger, the barrier surrounding the coffin shattered. Without hesitation, Yu Tian placed his hand on Hong'er's abdomen, using the Woeful Poison Body to its full extent to absorb the poison from her body and convert it into Primordial Chaos Strength.

Even though the Woeful Poison Body could not directly convert poison into Primordial Chaos Strength, only into Profound Strength, Yu Tian's Primordial Body had the ability to transform Profound Strength into Primordial Chaos Strength.

Upon reaching the 2nd Level Divine Origin Realm, Yu Tian had absorbed all the poison he could with the Woeful Poison Body, prompting him to bring out the Sky Poison Pearl and absorb the remaining poison from Hong'er's body without any issues.

Although Yu Tian could only absorb 60% of the Absolute God Slaying Poison, it was as expected of the world's most potent poison; despite the small amount, it allowed Yu Tian to break through from the 7th Level Sovereign Profound Realm to the 2nd Level Divine Origin Realm.

"I'm done; she should wake up soon," Yu Tian said, returning the Sky Poison Pearl to storage. "So, have you made your decision?"

"..." Ling Mingyu stared at Yu Tian in silence for a moment.

No one spoke, watching curiously between Mingyu and Yu Tian to see how things would unfold.

"Ling Mingyu greets Master," Mingyu finally said, bowing to Yu Tian without hesitation after considering her decision thoroughly.
