Chapter 126: Chapter 126 : Illusory Demon Realm ll
Demon Imperial City, Yun Family.
"This place is better than I expected," Yu Tian muttered upon arriving at the Yun family's residence. It seemed that Yun Canghai had managed to improve his family's condition over the past year and a half.
"The Demon King has returned!" some people below exclaimed upon seeing Yun Canghai's arrival. "And it looks like he brought a guest with him too."
"I wonder who this person could be, capable of arriving alongside a Profound God like the Demon King," another person said, staring at Yu Tian curiously.
Yun Canghai's arrival at the Divine Origin Realm was no secret, as everyone in the Demon Imperial City knew. He had displayed his strength when he killed the traitor Duke Ming, who was responsible for the deaths of the Demon Emperor and the Little Demon Emperor.
Despite gaining the power to place the Illusory Demon Realm under his feet, he remained loyal to the Imperial Family and the Little Demon Empress.
"He doesn't seem ordinary; I can't sense his power at all," another person said. No matter how hard he tried to perceive Yu Tian's strength, he appeared to be merely a mortal human. However, no mortal could fly in the sky, indicating that Yu Tian was not human.
Yu Tian and Yun Canghai ignored the onlookers below as they quickly arrived at Yun Canghai's residence. The Yun family had an entire section of the clan's territory allocated for their living space.
While everyone in the Yun family respected Yun Canghai, their respect was rooted more in fear of his power. When he returned to the Yun family and witnessed how his son, wife, and adopted grandson were treated, he initiated a killing spree, eliminating everyone who had harmed or humiliated them without discrimination.
"This is my residence, and a wing will be arranged for you shortly, Benefactor Yu," Yun Canghai said respectfully as he walked toward a nearby room. "Until your wing is ready, I will introduce you to my son and his family."
"Alright," Yu Tian nodded lightly. He was aware of Yun Canghai's hidden intentions but didn't mind assisting him. It was clear that Yun Canghai intended to show him the condition of Yun Qinghong and Mu Yurou and then ask for his help in healing them. Despite his power, Yun Canghai couldn't cure them as the poison had deeply infiltrated their bodies. Although he could forcibly extract the poison, doing so would be tantamount to killing them.
"Qinghong, your father is coming in," Yun Canghai said, not hesitating to open the door and enter.
"..." Yu Tian glanced at the old man who seemed oblivious to the concept of privacy and sighed lightly, following him inside. He didn't particularly care about Qinghong's privacy, especially since even his father didn't seem to.
Inside, Yu Tian saw a middle-aged man and woman. Their faces were pale, their bodies weak, and their auras unstable.
Despite their tired and sickly appearances, it was evident that they were once handsome, surrounded by a faint noble aura.
"Father..." Qinghong said respectfully to Yun Canghai. "Apologies for my inability to greet you properly."
"Father-in-law," Mu Yurou also said respectfully to Yun Canghai.
"No need for that," Yun Canghai smiled lightly as he looked at the two but quickly noticed someone was missing. "By the way, where is Little Xiao?"
Although Yun Xiao wasn't his biological grandson, Yun Canghai considered him a true grandson, especially after learning what Yun Xiao's father did for his son and daughter-in-law.
"I don't know; that boy has been acting strange for about a year now and spends most of his time isolated in his room," Yun Qinghong sighed in sorrow at his father's question.
"Knowing the truth must have been a shock for him," Mu Yurou said, trying to comfort her husband. Seeing Yun Xiao's transformation had made him more depressed.
When Yun Canghai returned, Qinghong and Yurou told him everything that had happened when they went to rescue him and that Yun Xiao was not their biological son. Yun Xiao had overheard this revelation, which had caused him immense shock.
After learning this shocking truth, Yun Xiao locked himself in his room in grief, only coming out a week later, seemingly a changed person.
"That boy..." Yun Canghai sighed helplessly before gesturing toward Yu Tian. "This is Benefactor Yu, whom I told you about. He was the one who freed me from the seal and helped me enhance my power to what it is today."
Yun Qinghong and Mu Yurou were stunned upon hearing Yun Canghai's words. They hadn't expected Benefactor Yu to be so young. Judging by his life aura, he seemed to be under 20 years old.
"Qinghong welcomes Benefactor Yu," Yun Qinghong said respectfully and didn't hesitate to bow toward Yu Tian to express his gratitude. "Qinghong thanks Benefactor Yu from the bottom of his heart for saving my father."
"..." Mu Yurou remained silent, staring at Yu Tian in astonishment for some reason.
"No need for this. I did what I wanted," Yu Tian said with an indifferent shake of his head, then looked at Yun Canghai. "So, old man, did you bring me here to help your son and daughter-in-law rid their bodies of the poison?"
"Hahaha, as expected of Benefactor Yu," Yun Canghai laughed, clearly unbothered that his hidden motives had been exposed. "That's right. No one else has been able to heal them, but you are different, Benefactor Yu. I am confident you can save them."
"If Benefactor Yu is willing to help, then this old man will be a donkey and servant in his next life and serve Benefactor Yu," Yun Canghai said, kneeling before Yu Tian in earnest. There was no trace of his previous brazen attitude.
"Father!!" Both Yun Qinghong and Mu Yurou shouted in shock. They hadn't expected Yun Canghai to suddenly kneel before Yu Tian.
"..." Yu Tian looked silently at the kneeling old man, clearly understanding the underlying meaning of his words. "Get up; there's no need for this. I will help them, and consider all gratitude and grievances between us settled after their treatment."
