Illumi waved away the large amount of dust dancing before him, covered his nose and mouth, and jumped onto the stone coffin.

"A person!?"

Illumi was shocked. He had originally thought it would be a skeleton, but unexpectedly, there was a person lying inside. A person with fair skin, dressed in a dark robe, clutching a black and red box to his chest.

"No."

Suddenly, Illumi's eyes narrowed. A person shouldn't look like this. If it were a person, they should have long since turned into a pale skeleton, just like the ones outside. The most unusual thing was that his eyes were open, but there were no pupils in his eye sockets, only pure white.

"His bones are much larger than ordinary people's. He's certainly not any known human race on Earth today." King Bradley also leaped onto the stone coffin, standing on its edge, carefully scanning its interior. "Try to take it off," Illumi spoke again. He wanted to test if the box had any mechanisms. Of course, he was already prepared for a counterattack or a tactical retreat at any moment.

"Click." However, King Bradley simply wrapped his hands around the black box and effortlessly picked it up. The "human" body's hands slipped off the box.

"Nothing..." No mechanisms, no anomalies. Even the seemingly human body showed no reaction.

"Touch that person," Illumi said again. King Bradley reached out and touched it, his brow furrowing. "The body is very hard." He looked up at Illumi, slowly straightened up, and said in a low voice. "It's not human, but if it's a doll, there are no joints on its body."

Illumi waved his hand, signaling him to jump onto the stone coffin and place the box in front of him. He reached out and touched it.

Knock knock... Seeing no reaction from the box, Illumi gently tapped it twice with his index finger, producing the sound of wood being tapped. It was indeed just a wooden box, square-shaped, with sides no longer than ten centimeters. Moreover, the box showed no signs of decay. Although the surface paint was slightly faded and dull due to its age, one could still faintly discern some patterns on it.

"This is what's blocking my aura," Illumi frowned. His aura couldn't penetrate this black box. He looked at the stone coffin, then at the "person" inside the coffin.

"Let's go out." King Bradley nodded slightly. Since they had confirmed there was no danger here, the next step was to have people come down and investigate. As for this black and red wooden box, Illumi intended to take it out and study it, to figure out what it was and what it contained.

"Boss, how is it down there?" Javier's voice sounded. He was very concerned about the situation below.

"We're coming up now. Prepare to receive us."

"Yes, boss." Illumi didn't bother with Javier, only said this one sentence. The bodyguard immediately responded.

Plop... The two, one after another, jumped off the edge of the stone coffin. Illumi handed the black and red box to Bradley, letting him carry it, while Illumi used his flashlight to lead the way.

After a long while, Illumi and King Bradley followed the path they came, stepped out of the stone archway, and returned to the deep pit at the construction site. Looking up at the edge of the pit, they saw only Javier and the fat man, Hammer, anxiously waiting, leaning over.

"Quick, quickly lower the ladder." Seeing Illumi and King Bradley appear, Hammer immediately stood up and shouted to the bodyguards behind him. Illumi and King Bradley climbed up the rope ladder. Hammer even enthusiastically lent a hand, showing his eagerness and loyalty.

"What's down there, boss?" Javier immediately approached, his expression a mix of worry and expectation.

"A tunnel hall. There doesn't seem to be much valuable down there, except for this." Illumi pointed to the black and red wooden box in King Bradley's hand, then took a wet wipe from a bodyguard and wiped his hands.

But Javier didn't care whether there was anything valuable. He wanted to know if there was anything related to historical civilization down there.

"You're so curious about what's down there? You can go down and investigate yourself," Illumi said indifferently to Javier, then looked at the fat man Hammer. "What time is it now?"

"Boss, it's already five in the afternoon," Hammer replied with a fawning smile, looking at his wrist-watch.

Illumi looked up at the golden sunset in the sky. The sun was about to set, and some construction workers were already leaving work.

"Hammer, go notify the local government. Tell them to come and take a look."

"We paid money to buy this land. If the local government knows there's an ancient ruin here..."
