I AM A MAGE BUT WITH MILF SYSTEM

Chapter 315: Demons of Torture

"Attention, everyone!"

The gossip and movement among the gathered army stopped immediately. The men stood still, and their eyes turned towards him.

A moment of complete silence followed before they all hurried to stand in formations.

The discipline of the soldiers varied based on their nature. The soldiers of Ethwer stood still, reflecting their training, while the bandits and criminals struggled to line up properly.

Lian's piercing gaze swept over them. He knew this army was far from perfect, but with their ruthless and cunning nature, even they would be enough to gain victory.

"Listen up, you motherfuckers! I know exactly what some of you are—greedy bandits, notorious criminals—but today, you are all here under us two. And let me tell you, there's only one reason for your sorry asses to be standing here: to destroy those Easvil bastards!"

The gathered men exchanged nervous glances, but none of them dared to voice their opinion.

"If you don't betray us and follow orders like you are told, then no matter what crimes you have committed, you will walk away free. No charges, no hunts—nothing. You will get gold, status, and a chance to live like lords."

He paused, letting his words sink in.

"But…" Lian's tone dropped, cold and menacing: "If any of you decide to run or betray us, mark my words—we will find you. No matter where you hide, no matter how far you go, we will hunt you down. And trust me, what we'll do to you will make the Easvil's wrath look like a fucking joke."

The army tensed as the warning hung heavy in the air.

Lian stepped back with his arms crossed, letting the silence speak for itself.

Everyone gathered there knew who these two were. Lian and Arberus had earned their terrifying reputation long ago.

Known as the "Twins of Torture," the mere mention of their names sent chills down the spines of anyone who had crossed them.

They were a pair of sadistic soldiers who worked directly under Duke Ethwer's command. Their methods were infamous.

Torture was their weapon, and they took pleasure in it. Whether it was criminals, spies, or even fellow soldiers who had failed their mission, no one was safe from their cruelty.

Their victims rarely survived their interrogations. The worst part, however, was their chilling signature move: the ritualistic drinking of their victim's blood.

It was said that they drank blood to gain power.

The soldiers in front of Lian and Arberus all knew the rumors. They knew that Lian and Arberus didn't just kill their victims—they took enjoyment in every moment of it.

Every scream, every moment of torture, only fueled their hunger for more. And they also knew that to betray them would be the same as experiencing hell.

As Lian surveyed the army, his smirk grew wider. "Now, let's make sure these Easvil bastards know who they are fucking with."

Meanwhile, in a county near the Easvil border, a woman was sat at her desk. Her face was clouded with worry as she scanned the map placed before her.

She was studying the borders of Easvil and its neighboring territories.

"Raphael, how is the situation?" she asked tensely. "Can we sneak some men through to help them?"

Raphael, who was standing in front of her, shook his head.

"No, we can't, Rose," he replied, his tone heavy with frustration.

"They have already surrounded the duchy, and those greedy bastards have successfully isolated Easvil. Any attempt to break through would be suicide. The counts and viscounts near Easvil have blocked all routes, likely bought off by gold."

Rose clenched her fists tightly. "Damn them all. They are leaving Easvil alone, knowing full well what's coming."

Raphael nodded. "It's a calculated move. They are waiting to see before picking a side. They would rather protect their own lands and watch Easvil fall than risk their destruction."

Rose slammed her fist on the desk, startling Raphael. "I can't just sit here and do nothing! Lord Julian and the entire duchy are in danger. If we don't act now, it will be too late."

Raphael lowered his head, clenching his fists. "Yes, I know, Rose. Lord Julian needs reinforcements in a time like this. We must think of something."

Just then, the sky outside the county crackled with lightning violently. The sheer force of the thunder sent a shiver down Raphael's spine.

His eyes widened in disbelief. "This... it can't be, right?"

Rose's face lit up with hope. "It might be!" she said, her voice filled with sudden excitement. "Let's go!"

Without wasting a second, they both dashed out of the castle. As they stepped outside, the air around them was filled with lightning and vibrating with mana.

Their eyes fell upon a figure standing amidst the swirling lightning. His aura was suffocating, and his presence commanding.

"Julian," Rose whispered in a mixture of both relief and awe.

There he was, standing tall with his piercing gaze fixed ahead, as if ready to take on the world.

Raphael stepped closer and bowed before speaking. "My lord, how are you here? And how is the situation at the duchy?"

Julian let out a heavy sigh. "I can't lie to you, Raphael—it's not fine. The situation is worse than we expected, and we have to act quickly before things go out of control."

He turned to Rose with a faint smile. "It seems you have adjusted to your new position as countess quite well, Rose."

Rose blushed slightly and lowered her head in a bow. "It's all because of your guidance and support, Lord Julian. I couldn't have done this without you."

Julian smiled briefly before his voice turned serious again. "Tell me, how many soldiers do we have in this county?"

Rose thought for a while before responding. "Perhaps 400 to 500, my lord. We do not have many, but the ones we do have are well-trained."

Julian nodded; 500 should be enough to move forward with my plan.

"Hmmm… And what about the enemy? What size is their army?" he asked.

Raphael answered immediately. "My lord, based on reports from the scout who managed to warn us, the attacking army is nearly 1,500 strong. He also mentioned that the duchy has been completely isolated. It seems like this was planned from the very start."

Julian's expression shifted nervously as he processed the information. His gaze flicked between Raphael and Rose.

"1,500, you say? That's more than three times our numbers."

Rose's face paled at his words, but she did not speak, waiting for Julian to speak further.

Julian folded his arms and stared off into the distance. "If they have surrounded us and cut off reinforcements, then they are expecting us to either surrender or panic."

Raphael straightened, his loyalty unwavering. "What is your plan, my lord? Whatever it is, we will follow you to the end."

Julian's lips curled into a faint smirk. "For now, prepare the soldiers and gather the commanders."

Immediately, the commanders were summoned. Among them stood the commander of the county's army and the strategist.

Both men bowed deeply upon entering Julian's presence. The tall and muscular commander sized Julian before speaking, "Your Grace, it is our honor to be in your presence."

Julian smiled warmly. "The pleasure is mine as well, Commander. Raise your head."

He then turned his attention to Rose. "Rose, you will stay here and gather the soldiers. Ensure they are ready to move at any time."

Rose bowed slightly. "Yes, Lord Julian. I will do as you command."

Julian shifted his gaze to Raphael and the commander. "Raphael, Commander, you will accompany me. There is no time to waste."

With those words, Julian transported Raphael and the commander into his personal world. It was immediate, and before they could even process their new surroundings, Julian teleported them to one of the counties nearby.

After reaching the courtyard of the county, Julian released Raphael and the commander from his world. The two men stumbled slightly as they adjusted to their surroundings.

They were dizzy and nauseous, but they quickly composed themselves.

Raphael, who was glancing around, asked hesitantly, "My Lord, where are we?"

Julian, however, didn't respond. His gaze was locked on the castle before him, his eyes burning with rage. The veins in his forehead were almost about to pop, and his fists were clenched tightly as if containing an overwhelming storm beneath it.

"Let's see how these fuckers even thought of betraying us," Julian said, his voice low but menacing that sent shivers through Raphael and the commander.

Without another word, he raised his hand. The air around him crackled and thundered as immense aura flared from Julian.

"Authority!" he commanded.

In an instant, his appearance transformed. His dark hair turned to flowing white. His body became covered in a pure white armor, pulsating with lightning. The energy surrounding him was blinding, with streaks of lightning dancing around him.

The power of his transformation caused the ground to quake, and the sky above the courtyard began to darken.
