I AM A MAGE BUT WITH MILF SYSTEM

Chapter 318: This fucker was selling us out all along

Some stumbled over one another, some collided and fell, while some were stepped to their death as they tried to escape the fate they knew was closing in on them.

Arberus shouted in fury, "You fuckers! Where are you running to?!"

But his words were like dropping a bottle of water into an ocean—completely meaningless. The soldiers didn't listen.

They were already too far gone, lost in their panic, and it was clear that their resolve had shattered.

Lian watched with a mixture of frustration and defeat. He shook his head. "Forget about it, Arberus. Those are just bandits and criminals. Who would expect loyalty from them?"

The words seemed to hang in the air as the last remnants of his army fled into the distant forest.

Lian's gaze remained fixed on the now-empty battlefield, and for the first time in a long while, he felt the weight of defeat crushing down on him.

Julian had won—not just the battle, but their very will to fight.

Lian fell to his knees, his hands raised in surrender. "We surrender," he said, the words heavy with defeat.

Arberus hesitated, his gaze flickering between Lian and Julian before finally following. He, too, dropped to his knees, his hands raised.

Julian's lips curled into a smile. "Wise choice," he said, his tone both mocking and satisfied.

He turned to his soldiers and issued a command with a cold, calculated gaze. "Go and chain them."

Without a word, his men jumped into action and surrounded Lian and Arberus. They swiftly bound the two men with chains, treating them like criminals.

Lian and Arberus, once commanders feared in their own right, now sat shackled like prisoners awaiting their fate.

Julian's gaze shifted to the distant forest, his eyes narrowing as a sinister smile curled on his lips.

He took a deep breath before shouting to his soldiers, "The hunt starts now. Every head is worth 100 gold. You all know what to do."

For a moment, there was a chilling silence. Then, with a sudden loud sound, the army surged forward. Laughter and mocking shouts filled the air as the soldiers raced toward the forest, eager to claim their prize.

Lian and Arberus could only shiver in fear. They could hear the mocking laughter of the soldiers as they closed in on their prey.

The fate of everyone who had stood against Julian now sealed.

Lian's voice trembled as he whispered, "What have we done?"

A few hours earlier, inside the walls of the Easvil castle.

Alden sat, tapping his legs nervously. He glanced at Julian, who was standing by the window.

"Julian, go. We can't stay like this any longer. I trust you to handle this. Do what you must."

Julian turned to face Alden. "I will, Father," he said, his eyes glowing with fierce determination.

But before Julian could move, a voice interrupted. The commander, standing near the doorway, stepped forward.

"Your grace, we can't act without a proper plan. We should not rush in blindly."

Julian narrowed his eyes, staring at the commander. There was something about him that didn't sit right.

This fucker is getting on my nerves, Julian thought. He is doing everything he can to prevent me from going outside. He must have something on his mind.

Alden, sensing the growing tension, let out a heavy sigh.

"We can't afford to stay like this any longer," he said, his voice carrying the weight of authority.

The commander seemed to panic, his hands trembling slightly as he spoke hurriedly.

"Let's wait for an hour, Your Grace. If there is no news by then, we can proceed as you wish."

Julian's gaze remained cold. He knew that the longer they waited, the harder it would be to take control of the situation. However, he had no other choice than to wait.

After a minute or so, the commander swiftly slipped out of the room. Julian immediately noticed, and he called for the Domain of Isolation.

His aura surged, enveloping the entire castle in an invisible shield. His gaze never left the commander's figure as he made his way down the corridor.

The commander seemed cautious and was always looking around to check if anyone was following him.

Julian smiled coldly. So this fucker was the one leaking our information.

The commander reached a secluded hallway, where a maid stood with a soldier nearby. Without hesitation, he approached the soldier and drew a dagger from his belt.

With a swift motion, he slit the soldier's throat, killing him instantly. The maid let out a silent gasp, but before she could react, the commander turned his attention to her.

He gave her a smirk before ignoring her completely. He reached into his robe and took out a small crystal.

With a dark grin, he began channeling his mana into the crystal. The crystal flickered with an eerie light, responding to the commander's call.

Julian's eyes narrowed. This is what he's been up to. He has been selling us out all along.

After channeling his mana into the crystal for a brief moment, a voice rang from the crystal.

"What is happening there?" it asked.

The commander's face was tense with urgency as he responded.

"It's fine for now, but I can't handle them anymore. You only have one hour to prepare everything," he said with frustration.

The voice on the other end of the crystal chuckled. "Okay, nicely done. Keep handling it. We will meet after the plan succeeds."

As the words faded, the crystal stopped glowing and the connection was severed. T

The commander turned his attention to the maid, who stood frozen in fear. With a swift motion, he drew his dagger and sliced in her direction.

A slice like mana made its way for the maid, and in an instant she was severed in half, her body crumpling to the floor without a sound.

The commander wiped his blade clean, his eyes cold and void of remorse. The plan was set in motion, and there would be no turning back now.

Julian's fury reached a boiling point as he watched the scene unfold. His eyes glowed with a dangerous intensity, and he gritted his teeth, barely able to hold back his anger.

"That motherfucker, Ethwer... I should have known he wouldn't rest until he kills me," Julian muttered to himself.

Julian could easily recognize the owner of the voice. No one could mistake the cold and calculating tone of Ethwer, which was further fueled by his hate for Julian.

Julian withdrew his domain, and his aura subconsciously flared outward. It was chilling red, powerful and oppressive, that suffocated the room.

The overwhelming pressure caused the atmosphere to thicken, and the soldiers surrounding him took instinctive steps back. Their faces were pale with fear as they struggled to breathe in the presence of Julian.

Alden was the first to speak. "Julian... What happened?" he asked, sensing the shift in Julian's demeanor.

His own composure cracked under the intensity of Julian's aura.

The commander rushed back into the room, and he was visibly shaken by the sudden change in the atmosphere. He froze for a moment as Julian's overwhelming aura filled the space, suffocating everyone around him.

The force of it made the commander's knees weaken. Before he could process what was happening, Julian quickly formed a barrier and trapped the commander inside.

"What are you doing?!" the commander shouted, his voice rising in confusion and fear.

His hands struck the barrier, trying to find a way out. He looked around frantically, his eyes wide with panic.

"I… I don't understand! Why are you doing this?"

Alden, who had been observing the situation, looked between Julian and the commander with growing concern.

His voice broke through the tension. "Julian, what is going on here?"

Julian's gaze didn't leave the commander.

The commander himself was clueless. "I… I don't know what's happening! I swear! I haven't done anything wrong! Why are you doing this to me?"

Julian took a slow step forward, his aura tightening around the commander.

"You have been leaking information, playing both sides… haven't you?" he asked.

The commander's eyes widened in disbelief. "Leaking information? No, I… I don't know what you are talking about!"

His voice cracked, and he continued desperately. "You have to believe me! I haven't done anything."

Alden tilted his head in confusion, but Julian's gaze remained fixed on the commander.

"You really expect me to believe that?"

The commander continued protesting, but Julian remained silent.

Alden, still confused, turned to Julian and asked again, "Julian… what's happening? What is going on with him?"

Julian raised his hand and pulled out a crystal ball. The orb hovered in the air, glowing faintly before flashing with a blue light.

Everyone in the room froze as an image materialized within the orb. It was the vivid replay of the commander's previous encounter in the secluded hallway.

The voice of Ethwer echoed through the crystal, and the commander's betrayal was played out in front of everyone.

The room fell into a tense silence as the violent scene concluded.

Alden's face darkened, and his hands clenched tightly at his sides. His aura leaked from his body, and he was barely able to hold it from exploding.

The soldiers exchanged stunned glances, and some murmured in disbelief.

Meanwhile, the commander who was trapped within the barrier stared at the crystal with wide, horrified eyes.

His face had drained of all color as he realized his betrayal had been completely exposed.
