I am Dracula With My Three Beautiful Vampire Brides

Chapter 9: Professional Ethics of the Villain

"Peter… he… he suddenly touched my butt!" Lucie sobbed, her eyes filled with grief and fury as she glared at Peter.

Valerie, having confirmed the truth from her sister, looked at Peter with the same mix of hurt and anger, unable to understand why he would do something like that.

"Get out! Get out of here! I never want to see you again!!"

Suzette's furious voice rang out. She was so emotional that she seemed on the verge of grabbing something—anything—to punish Peter with.

"I didn't mean it," Peter stammered, clearly panicked.

"I didn't mean to touch Lucie's butt." But in that moment, no one believed him.

He opened his mouth to explain further, but the scene before them said it all.

Suddenly, Peter saw Suzette pull out an axe and charge at him with rage in her eyes.

Terrified, Peter turned and ran as fast as he could.

Behind him, Lucie was left crying, and Valerie stood frozen with a look of sorrow and disbelief.

Verona parted her lips slightly, clearly dazed by the dramatic turn of events.

Meanwhile, Vlad stood off to the side, casually enjoying the spectacle.

"Ahem~"

"Lucie, you're a wonderful girl. You need to be strong—strength makes you even more beautiful," Vlad said, stepping forward to comfort her.

Lucie lifted her tear-streaked face. Hearing Vlad's deep and gentle voice filled her with an unexpected warmth.

For a moment, he seemed so tall and dignified—like a shining beacon in her eyes.

She felt drawn to him, her gaze softening, her heart beginning to stir.

Vlad then turned to Valerie.

"Valerie, I know you and Peter were childhood sweethearts. You've had feelings for each other. But maybe it's a good thing that you discovered his true nature now, before it was too late."

"If a man doesn't know how to cherish a kind and beautiful girl like you, then he clearly doesn't deserve you. Don't waste your sorrow on someone like that."

As Vlad spoke gently and kindly, Valerie felt as if her heart was wrapped in a soothing warmth.

Her eyes, now looking at Vlad, began to hold something new—something she didn't even notice herself.

In that moment, she felt safe. Genuinely safe.

Watching her master so skillfully win the hearts of both girls, Verona couldn't help but sigh. She had a strange feeling that Vlad had orchestrated something behind the scenes.

At the same time, Peter stood off on his own, looking at his hand with a confused expression. He had no idea why he had touched Lucie—why he had acted like that.

Everything today felt bizarre.

Even the way he had spoken earlier—he had blurted things out without thinking. It wasn't like him at all.

"Was it jealousy that clouded my mind?" Peter muttered.

But when he thought of Vlad, an unfamiliar sense of disgust welled up in his chest.

The more he thought about it, the more wrong it all felt.

"No," he murmured. "I have to talk to Valerie. There has to be some kind of misunderstanding."

Meanwhile, Suzette returned home, having failed to catch Peter, the axe still in her hand and her face twisted in anger.

As she stepped inside, she saw Vlad gently comforting her daughters.

He looked so composed, so elegant, so noble—it made her heart skip a beat.

When Vlad's gaze met hers, Suzette panicked. She quickly dropped the axe and instinctively straightened her clothes.

She looked at him awkwardly, cheeks flushed with embarrassment.

Vlad simply smiled and nodded politely, saying nothing.

That small gesture made Suzette feel both relieved and slightly disappointed.

"What's wrong with me? Why is it so hot?"

She touched her flushed cheeks with both hands, flustered and confused.

With her life experience, Suzette quickly realized what was happening—she was attracted to him.

She was stunned.

Had she been younger, she wouldn't have minded a romantic encounter with a man like Vlad.

But now, as a mother of two, she had responsibilities. She was mature, with clear boundaries. She knew what was appropriate and what wasn't.

She thought back to her youth—to the impulsive affair that had led to the birth of Lucie. It had left her living with guilt ever since.

And yet, as she looked at Vlad—his tall, proud figure, his graceful movements, his sharply handsome face and deep, mysterious eyes…

She knew she had to get out of there. She couldn't let herself fall any further.

She quickly looked around, trying to calm her emotions.

Then her eyes landed on the empty bucket in the corner. Inspiration struck.

"Um… there's no water at home. I'll go get some," she said suddenly.

Grabbing the bucket, she hurried outside, needing to escape—to cool her head.

"Madam, let me help you," Vlad offered kindly, following after her.

"No, no, it's fine! I can handle it myself."

Suzette was trying to avoid him—there was no way she would let him come along. She refused him outright.

Vlad, unaware of her inner turmoil, simply thought she was being shy.

They arrived at the stream in the woods. Suzette avoided eye contact, her expression nervous.

"Madam, do you know how truly charming you are?" Vlad asked softly.

"W-what?" Suzette was flustered. Her heart was racing.

"I said, you're very charming," Vlad repeated, stepping closer.

"I—I'm over thirty! How could I still be charming?" Her face burned hotter by the second.

In her panic, the bucket slipped from her hands and fell to the ground.

As she bent down to retrieve it, a firm hand gently lifted her chin.

She was forced to meet Vlad's deep, captivating eyes. Her heart pounded. Her mind went blank. Her gaze grew lost in his.

In that moment, she forgot everything else.

Gazing at her beauty, Vlad seized the moment.

"Madam… do you not realize how enchanting you are?"

Suzette shyly shook her head, gripping the hem of her skirt, her body trembling.

"Do you know how beautiful you looked when you picked up that axe to defend your daughter?" Vlad said, eyes full of admiration.

"I… I thought you wouldn't like someone like me," Suzette whispered, her emotions surging, her mind in a haze.

"How could I not? I like you very much."

Hearing Vlad's heartfelt words, Suzette felt like she had been transported back to her teenage years. Her eyes shimmered with longing.

Looking up at Vlad's face, now so close to hers, Suzette couldn't hold back any longer.

She gathered her courage, leaned in, and kissed him.

And Vlad, of course, welcomed her affection—embracing the beautiful gift offered by the passionate woman before him.
