Upon hearing Giovanni's words, the two new squad leaders exchanged glances, a hint of ruthlessness flashing in their eyes— but they still feigned composure. "What do you mean by this, sir?" one of them asked.

Giovanni lightly tossed a Poké Ball in his hand, his gaze calmly sweeping over them.

"If you can defeat me, then you can leave at any time. I'll inform Captain Ank, so you don't need to worry." As if to provoke them further, he added dismissively, "If you don't have the guts, then you can just be dogs at my feet."

They were both young men full of spirit; they couldn't possibly tolerate such an insult. The one with the brown, pineapple-shaped hair was about to make a move.

At that moment, Giovanni moved his foot, appearing in front of him in the next instant and kicking him to the ground.

The Poké Ball in his hand opened, and Beedrill appeared instantly, its sharp twin stingers placed right at the boy's throat. The squad leader, who hadn't even managed to get up, was so scared he kept swallowing.

"Despicable!" he yelled at Giovanni. "You won unfairly!"

The green-haired boy on the side also looked at Giovanni with disdain.

"Despicable?" Giovanni clapped his hands as Beedrill retracted its stingers and flew back to him. "It's a shame you two are Team Rocket squad leaders. Do you really think battles are child's play? If this were in the wild, you'd already be dead by my hand."

He struck them down with contempt. "Under equal strength, victory is certain if I kill the trainer first. Besides, in the wild, do you wait for both sides to release their Pokémon before fighting? Don't be ridiculous."

The two squad leaders were ashamed, but their eyes still showed defiance. The brown-haired one stood up unwillingly. "You're just bullying us!"

"Heh," Giovanni sneered. He turned and sat down on a stool Archer had brought over. "Since that's the case, I'll give you another chance. You two aren't qualified to fight me one-on-one. Come at me together. It'll save me the trouble of dealing with you individually."

Seeing Giovanni look down on them so much, the two were enraged. If he was so arrogant, they would teach him a lesson. They exchanged glances and immediately released their Pokémon.

One was a Graveler, composed entirely of rocks, and the other was a Kingler, with its massive, powerful pincer. As the squad leaders' main Pokémon, they were both at a high level of strength, around level 35. Their defense was incredibly high. Combined with their abilities, Sturdy and Shell Armor, the situation seemed very unfavorable for Beedrill.

If not for the Metal Coat, it might have been— but now, Beedrill didn't even put them in its eyes.

"You only released two Pokémon?" Giovanni sneered. "What, are you afraid I'll lose too badly? Going easy on me?"

This was indeed what they were thinking. After all, they still had Ank's order. No matter how angry they were, they didn't dare to go too far. Of course, there was also the matter of pride. "This is already enough!" they said stubbornly.

"Suit yourselves," Giovanni waved his hand casually. "Just don't say I didn't give you a chance. Beedrill, do as you please."

Clang!

Beedrill nodded, its twin stingers gently clashing, emitting a metallic clang as its aura surged. Focus Energy. The oppressive feeling made the two squad leaders' temples throb. Only then did they realize something was off; this Beedrill was not normal— but since they had already spoken, they had to finish the battle.

"Go, Graveler, Kingler! Rock Throw! Mud Shot!"

The Rock Throw attack sent giant rocks raining down from the sky. At the same time, the Kingler's Mud Shot followed closely, clumps of viscous mud shooting towards Beedrill.

However, they never expected Beedrill's speed. It weaved flexibly through the air, quickly dodging every attack. Its battle instincts were also very strong. It first used String Shot to lay down sticky threads on the battlefield, limiting its opponents' movement.

Next, it became a golden lightning bolt, heading straight for the Graveler. Its twin stingers swung, unleashing a Fury Cutter. The blades transformed into two silver rays of light, piercing towards the rock Pokémon.

"Graveler, use Harden!" the green-haired boy frantically shouted. The Graveler curled up, its body becoming even harder— but under Beedrill's fierce attack, it couldn't help but be flustered.

Though it blocked most of the attacks, its rocky shell was still scratched and chipped. It cried out in pain. However, due to its Sturdy ability, it was not yet incapacitated.

"Impossible!" the boy shouted in disbelief. "How can a mere Beedrill break through Graveler's defense?"

"Kingler, go! Use Hammer Arm!" the other shouted. The Kingler roared and swung its massive pincer, lunging at Beedrill— but Beedrill had already anticipated this.

It quickly retreated, simultaneously using Venoshock, spraying a highly corrosive venom directly at the Kingler. The crab Pokémon hurriedly used its pincer to block, but the venom still splashed onto its body, corroding its shell and making it wail in pain.

Seizing this opportunity, Beedrill attacked again. It spun its body, its stingers pointing directly at the Kingler's vital spot.

Its speed instantly reached its peak, appearing next to the Kingler in a flash, its stingers plunging deep into its body. It then continuously swung, sending the Kingler flying.

In just one exchange, both Pokémon had been beaten to a pulp.

"Rock Blast! Bubble Beam!" the two squad leaders shouted defiantly.

But no matter how fast they shouted, they weren't as fast as Beedrill. This wasn't a turn-based game. How could it not finish them off?

Countless large needles, enveloped in white light, rained down like a storm, engulfing both the Graveler and the Kingler.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Explosions continuously rang out— both of their Pokémon collapsed to the ground, the battle now over.
