Chapter 471: Chapter 471: The Progenitor of All Monsters, the Artificial God-King! Typhon is Born, and the Mortal Realm Descends into Complete Chaos!
Unlike the Nether Gods, who have numerous paths to achieve the status of a God-King, such an opportunity is far rarer for Hades himself. For Hades to ascend to an even higher level—to reach the Ancient God tier—would require elevating the World Tree, a feat that is nearly impossible despite his power.
Over the years, Hades has poured immense effort into preparing for this step, knowing that any lapse in planning could doom his ambitions to failure.
Persephone spoke calmly, "My husband has begun his preparations. For now, all we need to do is wait patiently for the right opportunity to arise."
"Understood, my lady," Pandora and Eris replied, bowing slightly, an acknowledgment of their unique status in Hades' court.
In Tartarus, two Ancient Gods had gathered: Gaia and Tartarus.
Tartarus coughed weakly, an unexpected vulnerability for a being of his stature, hinting at the strain he was under. Both Gaia and Tartarus appeared visibly weakened from the monumental task they were undertaking—to nurture a God-King whose existence was not even acknowledged by the world's mythical laws.
Gaia's face was pale, her divine aura diminished.
"Tartarus," Gaia said quietly, "this clears your debt to me."
Tartarus responded with a faint smile. "This is truly troublesome, Gaia. This is the last time. I won't risk drawing the ire of the mythical world again. Who knows what consequences that could bring?"
Just as Tartarus was about to depart, Gaia stopped him. "Aren't you interested in seeing your child's birth? After all, this child was created by both of us."
After a moment's thought, Tartarus remained to watch.
Although gods generally don't care for lineage, seeing it as an indulgence rather than a necessity, the new God-King they were creating—outside the constraints of the world's laws—was something truly remarkable.
The seven original God-Kings—Uranus, Cronus, Hades, Poseidon, Zeus, Abel, and Athena—were naturally part of the mythical order. Even Polus, born through a rare convergence of power among Zeus, Abel, and Apollo, held a unique position. But now, a ninth God-King was being born, one crafted directly by Gaia and Tartarus—a "hand-made" God-King.
As time passed, the new God-King gradually took form.
At the threshold between the Underworld and the mortal realm, a figure cloaked in radiant light began to appear. The left half of its body was wreathed in storms, and the right side was engulfed in flames, symbolizing a flawless harmony between opposing forces.
This God-King, born of Gaia and nurtured with the lifeblood of two Ancient Gods, possessed unprecedented potential. From the moment of his birth, he was destined to be the supreme Titan and the progenitor of all monsters.
He emerged from the boundary, step by step, his left side a storm and his right side a blazing inferno.
In that instant—
A deafening roar echoed through the mythical world as it trembled from Typhon's birth, signaling the mythical realm's disapproval. Yet, the mythical world could do nothing to stop it.
Typhon's emergence was already part of the mythical world's narrative. Originally, he was meant to possess God-King-level power without the official status of a God-King. But this handmade Typhon now held the rightful position and divine stature of a God-King, a distinction that fundamentally separated him from his intended form.
In contrast, other Nether Gods, such as Aether, Europa, Ceres, and Karl, had varying potentials and limits, but only Aether and Europa, as God-Kings, represented the highest potential within the Underworld. Typhon, however, had achieved an unpermitted rank and status, and yet, nothing could prevent his birth now.
As the mythical world quaked, unable to intervene, the entire realm fell into shock and turmoil.
In the next moment, the gods stirred, and the mythical world seemed to plunge into madness. The gods realized that they could delay no longer; they had to act immediately, for if they allowed this new God-King to influence the war further, it would spell the end of their hopes for victory in the race war.
