I Am Hades, The supreme GOD of the Underworld!

Chapter 485: Chapter 485: The Titan-Blooded Giants Are Annihilated – Humanity Becomes the Protagonist of the Mythic World! Everything Concludes

Defeat.

For a deity, it doesn't mean much.

In the end, for a god, as long as they're alive, everything is manageable. Solutions come with patience, step by step, piece by piece. That is the core truth.

For Hades, this was no different.

A single failure is nothing. Over the course of an immortal life, waiting patiently for opportunities is enough. And for gods, opportunities abound in shocking numbers. This is a critical truth for a deity: what matters is seizing those moments when they arise.

In essence, if you cannot grasp the opportunity before you, then every other effort is pointless. It all becomes meaningless.

Clearly, Hades captured his chance, heralding a true transformation.

As for Gaia, she may have failed this time, but so what? Sometimes, a single success is all you need, even after countless failures. In a sense, that is the true heart of things for Gaia as well. She has made extensive preparations, and a single failure, or even two, is insignificant to her.

As time passes, if she achieves that one success, that's all she'll need. She stands at the peak of the Mythic World. The path she needs to complete is just one final step. And when will that step come? No one knows. But to Gaia, it hardly matters. That one step could transform everything completely.

Thus, Gaia remains calm, waiting quietly for the right moment.

Moreover, the opportunity seems to be approaching. Gaia's father personally informed her of an imminent event. What does this signify? It's self-evident.

Who is Gaia's father? Chaos! The Absolute God of Chaos, who created the Greek pantheon within the Mythic World.

The Absolute God of Chaos, Chaos itself.

If such a being personally informs Gaia of something, there's no chance it's false.

Given this, Gaia merely needs to wait for her opportunity.

This explains Gaia's current calm. When you regard something with little importance, the outcomes, whether success or failure, are easier to accept. It's simply the root of things.

On the mortal plane, Typhon's swift defeat and removal left the gods in shock and confusion. But despite this, the game of racial war would not end here, nor would the curtain fall.

The final battle has begun, and humanity, the true protagonist, has unleashed a strength that leaves no doubt of their role.

In essence, humanity has always been the protagonist.

Now, as the racial war reaches its conclusion, and Typhon has been defeated and taken away, the titan-blooded giants are left alone to face humanity in the last showdown.

In truth, the titans, despite their apparent advantage, hold little sway. Their advantage is meaningless because they are not the protagonists. The true protagonist is not shaken by superficial strengths. This is the core of it all.

In this racial war, as the races created by the gods fade away one by one, the last remaining are the true protagonists: humanity.

"Charge!"

"This war is coming to an end!"

"For the glory of humanity!"

"Fight!"

"Humanity will shine!"

With shouts and cries, the entire mortal realm echoed with humanity's roars.

Death?

They did not fear it. Humans charged forward with no hesitation.

Undeniably, in times of peace, humanity's weaknesses seem all too apparent. Yet, in war, who would dare to underestimate human potential or their fearsome tenacity? In every world, in every realm, humanity has always been the protagonist.

For this reason, in times of conflict, the power humanity can unleash is far from ordinary. Their strength is monstrous, stabilizing entire worlds.

Even gods—what of them?

Even the Sea of Chaos favors humanity. Gods have structured paths and systems, but for a deity to reach the status of Absolute God is extraordinarily difficult. One need only look and see—anyone with sense knows this road is nearly impassable.

And yet, humanity possesses the Omega, a power on par with Absolute Gods. This potential is staggering, beyond mere words. This is the potential that humanity holds.

It's as if humanity is a cherished race, blessed with unimaginable potential.

In contrast to deities, humanity's path relies on a unique power: their idealism. For gods, there is no such thing as sudden epiphany leading them to new heights. Such idealism simply doesn't exist for gods.

But humanity can tap into idealism's explosive power. As absurd as it sounds, humans truly possess such strength. Through sheer force of will, humans can unleash boundless power. This power defies understanding and strikes awe in all who witness it.

For instance, an ordinary human, moved to defend justice or life, might suddenly unleash an Omega power capable of rivaling an Absolute God. This phenomenon, although outrageous, is undeniably real.

This is why all Mythic Worlds so deeply favor humanity.

Mythic Worlds will eventually decay, meeting their twilight in Ragnarok, but humanity has the potential to break these limits. Only humanity can potentially transcend them.

Humanity's cap is staggeringly high, and as they approach it, they may ultimately break the boundaries of the Mythic World. This is the best solution.

Humanity's limitless potential is why they remain the protagonist. No one else could suddenly unleash the power to rival Absolute Gods in a single burst.

It is a concept so outrageous that only these words can describe it.

Sanctuary.

"…"

Prometheus watched the events on the mortal plane, shaking his head slightly and murmuring, "It's over. The Titan-Blooded Giants were no match for humanity."

"In fact…"

"No surprise here! Humanity is indeed the protagonist of this world, and all Mythic Worlds."

"The power humanity wields is truly astonishing!"

Prometheus's voice was filled with awe.

The strength humanity displays is stunning, even reaching a point that defies belief. Where will such a force lead in the future?

Or perhaps…

"Hm…"

As if struck by a thought, Prometheus furrowed his brow in contemplation.

Footsteps sounded as Metis walked up beside him, softly saying, "Prometheus, you've likely guessed it, haven't you?"

"Yes," Prometheus responded calmly. "I've had some idea. Though the Mythic World itself operates mechanically, it understands that steady human growth brings no benefit. Problems will arise instead."

"So the best choice, then…"

"Indeed. Under the Earth Goddess's machinations, preventing racial war is impossible. Therefore, maximizing the benefits of this racial war is the only solution."

Prometheus continued his analysis: "After this racial war, humanity's growth will be tremendous. This upheaval will unleash even greater potential in humanity."

Prometheus didn't need much contemplation to understand this deeply.

For humanity, the experience of this racial war will create staggering progress. Their future potential is unimaginable.

Because of this…

With such a foundation, humanity in this Mythic World has a genuine opportunity to transcend, to lead the entire world onto a new path.

"So, it was like that all along!"

Metis sighed. "While we had guessed as much, seeing it happen in reality is truly astounding."

"Indeed," Prometheus agreed, nodding solemnly as he and Metis, gods of wisdom, observed the battlefield. As time passed, humanity had decisively claimed victory.
