I Am Raditz

Chapter 95: Chapter 95: The Yardrat Mission

Raditz had stayed at the M187 branch for more than two months, renaming it the headquarters of the Galactic Justice League. From this base of operations, Jeice and Burter led their forces to occupy many of Frieza's former planets. Those forces without powerful backers were defeated and quickly pledged loyalty to Raditz.

Some joined seeking to become stronger, others simply wanted stable employment. Some were drawn by the opportunity to satisfy their bloodthirsty desires, while others were enthusiastic about being part of the ruling faction. Whatever their reasons, they all gathered under the banner of the Galactic Justice League.

Raditz established clear rules: they were forbidden from killing innocent people indiscriminately. Those who had committed atrocities during Frieza's reign were not allowed to continue their evil ways. They could only develop their strength peacefully or participate in liberating planets that had been enslaved by Frieza.

The Justice League's massive red flag fluttered above the high tower of the headquarters, marking the new center of power.

Ten gravity training rooms had been constructed, each large enough to accommodate 100 people training simultaneously, with gravity levels reaching up to three hundred times normal. However, for most of his soldiers, even ten times gravity was a significant challenge, let alone three hundred.

Angila and the Tumat elders managed internal affairs together. Burter was responsible for training the selected elite fighters, while Jeice served as both security captain and strategic advisor.

The Namekians kept to themselves. Under the leadership of their new elder, they moved to uncultivated land to farm and build a new community. They could wish to relocate to a more suitable planet or restore Planet Namek once their Dragon Balls became active again.

With everyone handling their responsibilities, Raditz was able to enjoy some rare downtime.

During these moments of peace, he would gaze into the distance from the top floor of the tower. His view encompassed vast territories and countless beings. His vision extended without obstacles, putting him above everyone else.

But today, his quiet contemplation was interrupted by a panicked voice: "Lord Raditz, terrible news!"

The voice was filled with urgency and fear. The messenger knelt on the ground, sweat dripping from his chin and forming small puddles on the floor.

"What is it? Calm down," Raditz said flatly without turning around.

"Our scouters positioned at the edge of the galaxy detected that Frieza isn't dead! He was floating at the galaxy's edge and was picked up by a group of people! Their signals have now moved away from our galaxy, heading toward distant space."

Frieza is not dead.

Raditz was slightly taken aback by this news. To survive the explosion of an entire planet—Frieza truly was like a cockroach that couldn't be killed.

Still, even if he survived, he must be severely injured and wouldn't be an immediate threat to Raditz.

What worried him more wasn't Frieza himself, but those who had rescued him. What were they planning? Raditz couldn't help but frown.

"Do you know who sent that group?"

"No, sir. I only saw that they wore combat uniforms similar to ours," the messenger reported, still trembling.

In such situations, if it had been Slug or Frieza receiving this news, the messenger would have been in grave danger. But Raditz was different. He merely glanced at the man without anger and said, "It must be Cooler or King Cold."

The messenger looked horrified.

Of course he had heard these legendary names, but they had always existed only in stories—he had never seen them in person.

The news that "Frieza is not dead" was already nightmare fuel, but now Raditz was casually mentioning Cooler's name, which terrified him even more.

"Don't be afraid. It's just a guess. It could be some remnant faction doing research."

"Yes, what you say makes sense, my lord." The man replied shakily.

Raditz was only trying to prevent panic, but inwardly he remained convinced of his suspicion.

He thought it impossible that these were merely Frieza's leftover forces. Most of them had accepted the news of Frieza's death as fact. Why would they suddenly send people to retrieve him? Only Frieza's brother or father would have placed surveillance around Frieza's last known location.

If that was the case, the situation was dangerous. Frieza himself wouldn't be taking any action soon, but the intentions of the other two were unpredictable. If they decided to attack, it would be no laughing matter.

Raditz took a deep breath, waved his hand and said, "Go prepare a spaceship for me. Set the destination for Yardrat."

"Planet Yardrat? Isn't that near our next conquest target? If you leave from Planet 54, it's very close, but departing from headquarters would be a much longer journey. We currently have troops stationed on Planet 54 if you need to coordinate with them."

"The distance doesn't matter. I need to go there personally. Just prepare the ship."

"Yes, Lord Raditz." The man bowed and left to make the preparations.

Raditz stood alone on the tower facing the wind, his eyes sharp as spears that could pierce armor. He had originally planned to visit Yardrat after making further progress consolidating his territory, but now that plan needed to be accelerated.

Cooler's power level exceeded Frieza's. Only by traveling to Planet Yardrat to learn new techniques could Raditz hope to deal with Cooler effectively.

The Yardrats possessed many mystical abilities, with teleportation being their most famous. Though not a combat technique in the traditional sense, it was an extraordinarily versatile skill. By finding and locking onto a person's energy signature, one could instantly change position across vast distances.

This remarkable ability to traverse space could not only save lives but also allow for completely unexpected attacks in battle.

With teleportation mastered, Raditz could defeat opponents within his power range more easily, and escape immediately from those beyond his current strength.

This technique was invaluable, and Raditz was determined to learn it.

After a while, the messenger returned to the tower. "Lord Raditz, the spaceship is ready."

"Thank you." Raditz turned and descended from the tower.

At the exclusive advanced launch site, a spaceship specially built for him awaited.

In the past, no ruler would personally travel in a single-person ship, but Raditz had set a new precedent. The scientists had modified the standard attack pod, making it much more spacious and comfortable, equipped with complete systems exclusively for Raditz's use.

The Galactic Justice League emblem and the Saiyan crest were emblazoned on the side of the ship.

"Lord Raditz, this is a newly developed communicator that will allow you to contact us at any time. Your capsule box has also been placed inside the ship," the launch pad administrator reported.

"Tell Angila that I may be gone for a month or two. During this time, continue with our established policies. I'll review the results when I return."

"Yes, sir!"

After giving his instructions, Raditz nodded and entered the spaceship. He found that compared to the previous cramped cockpit, this was like the difference between an economy seat and first class.

He could sleep comfortably during the journey, and by the time he woke up, he would arrive at Planet Yardrat. Raditz closed his eyes and lay back leisurely. The hatch closed automatically, and the spaceship launched immediately...
