I am secretly a 12th Dimensional Eldritch God

Chapter 189: Chapter 183 - This Junior Is Blind To See Mount Tai

(Sorry about the slow and inconsistent update. Irl had been really hectic for me especially nearing the Chinese New Year.)

Under the watchful gaze of Ray and everyone on board their ships, darkness filled the sea as shadows of gigantic creatures rapidly approached the water surface.

*Boom*

Suddenly, a towering creature burst out from the ocean and caused sea water to rain down like buckets pouring from above.

"Oh no! It's one of the Sea Gods!" The panicked sailor screamed but quickly pacified by Freya's presence as she strengthened their morale with her charm to overcome their fear.

Improved Version:

Ray remained silent, his gaze fixed on the colossal, octopus-like monster that loomed over the fleet, dwarfing the ships in comparison. Its body, a swirling mix of blue and white, exuded a distinct Hydro elemental presence.

At first glance, the creature's immense size and fearsome appearance suggested overwhelming power. But to Ray, it was a different story. Though the monster was undoubtedly formidable in form, its divine essence was weak—far weaker than his own. Yet, what piqued his interest wasn't its power but the distinct presence emanating from it. A sinister smirk curled on his lips as his sharp eyes gleamed with amusement.

"Humans! How dare you trespass into my territory! Prepare to pay for your sins with your lives!" A screeching, inhuman voice echoed across the sea, its sheer force making the air tremble. The humans on the ships winced and clutched their ears in pain, despair etched across their faces.

The Sea God observed the panic with satisfaction, its monstrous head bobbing as it reveled in the sight of helpless mortals. However, its gaze soon fell upon the leading ship of the fleet. Something was off. The crew aboard this particular vessel did not share the same despair as the others. Freya's charm had bolstered their resolve, dampening their fear as they prepared for battle. But all of that shattered the moment the Sea God noticed a black cat standing boldly at the ship's bow.

The cat exuded no fear—quite the opposite. Its smirk was dark and unnerving, sending a chilling sensation coursing through the Sea God's nonexistent spine.

Gritting its nonexistent teeth against the strange unease creeping into its being, the Sea God forced its pride to the forefront and stared angrily at the ship.

"You! Who dares stare insolently at this one!" it roared, its tentacles thrashing against the sea, creating massive waves in an attempt to intimidate the black cat. But the cat's smirk only grew wider, further inflaming the Sea God's fury.

"Courting death, are we? Sink to the bottom of the sea with your insolence!" the Sea God bellowed as it raised a massive tentacle, aiming to crush the tiny vessel beneath it.

Swish!

The mere movement of its appendage tore through the air, unleashing winds so powerful they roared like a hurricane. The waves surged violently, threatening to consume the fleet.

Then, everything stopped.

The howling wind fell silent. The towering waves froze in place. The ships, struggling against the chaos, halted their desperate motions. The world itself seemed to gray out, as though time had been forcibly suspended.

Only three entities remained unaffected: the Sea God, the black cat, and a goddess clad in gleaming armor.

The black cat moved first, stretching lazily as though none of the preceding events had disturbed it in the slightest. Slowly, it raised its head, fixing the Sea God with an unyielding stare that sent another wave of terror through the creature's massive form.

"Hoh~ You claim I'm courting death?" The cat's voice was cold and cutting, each word striking like a dagger. "Quite bold of you to say such a thing."

As the last word left its mouth, an oppressive dark aura erupted from the cat, spreading outward like a tide of malevolence.

The sun turned black, casting the world into an unnatural eclipse. The warmth of the day gave way to an inexplicable chill, and the vibrant blues of the sky dissolved into an ashen gray. The earth seemed drained of life, as if the very essence of the world had been consumed.

The Sea God trembled violently, its massive form quaking with uncontrollable fear. It instinctively tried to shrink itself, to escape the black cat's gaze, but its colossal size left it nowhere to hide.

Seated on the ship's bow, the black cat regarded the Sea God with an unrelenting stare. An aura of majesty and overwhelming power radiated from the small figure, bearing down on the once-proud deity. The Sea God's confidence and pride shattered like fragile glass beneath the weight of the cat's presence, leaving it quaking in terror, utterly at the mercy of the being before it.

Although in this state, Ray is nothing more than a paper tiger, utilizing the remnants of his aura as a powerful 12th Dimensional Eldritch God to suppress the Sea God with faint, near nonexistent traces of diluted Eldritch bloodline. But, a starved camel is still larger than a horse and Ray definitely won as the Sea God immediately begged for mercy—

"Oh, most exalted and merciful progenitor! Truly, your greatness knows no bounds, and this lowly wretch was blind to your divine majesty! I humbly prostrate before your boundless wisdom and implore your infinite mercy to spare this unworthy fool who dared to offend one as glorious as y—!"

The Sea God went to a complete 180 in his attitude and instantly begged for mercy. After all, unlike the mortals. The ranks of gods and greater beings above have a strict hierarchy. Especially outer gods as each dimension adds a layer of insurmountable gaps of conceptual power.

For all it knows, Ray might be an avatar of a powerful Eldritch God from beyond taking a stroll on the world to be able to project such a terrifying aura. Against such beings, the Sea God might as well dig itself a grave and bury itself rather than offending such beings that guarantees not even its soul will be left in one piece.

"Alright, enough. Enough. I get it. Stop trying to hug my legs with your tentacles. It's disgusting. At least do it in the form of a beautiful girl or something." Ray immediately swat away the tentacles trying to wrap around his body in disgust.

Although Ray gave the suggestion jokingly and didn't expect the Sea God to have human form. The Sea God actually transformed, a full on magical girl ahh transformation as its body surrounded by dense and colourful Hydro elements forming a cocoon before it exploded into a shower of water to reveal a young youthful girl in a blue and white dress with an ornament with a large blue gem on her unfortunately still developing chest.

Once she is done transforming, she returns to hugging his legs and repeating the exact same sentences she said just now, begging for her life which look quite comical. But for him, it's actually annoying because he is just trying to scare it, or her, a little but she took it quite seriously. Is he really that scary? He wondered, isn't he a cute and huggable cat?

"Since you are that sincere. This venerable one will spare your life. From today onwards, you shall be my pet. I named you Xiao Lan. Do you have any objections?" Ray said after giving her an evaluating look and nodded although when his eyes looked at her chest, his face turned a little disappointed.

Freya constantly wears armor over her chest so he can't rest on it comfortably…

"Ah! No! Of course not. This lowly one will follow the se—master's arrangements." She immediately kowtows on the floor looking elated that her life is spared.

"Good. Good." Ray nodded with a satisfied look as he stood up on his hind legs and his paws behind his back as he stared at the sea filled with the giant octopus that followed Xiao Bai before he said, "Now, kill the rest of your kins and offer their soul to me." He issued a cold-blooded order without a change of expression as if he was just talking about the weather or what to eat.

"Eh?" A look of shock appeared on her beautiful and youthful face.
