I Am The Annihilation Maker In Marvel

Chapter 11: X Men and Celestials

(I decided to have Samuel make his own Backstory to explain what he is if anyone asks.)

After he checked on Annihilation Maker, Samuel decided to pay a visit to the Ancient One. He hadn't seen her in three years from his perspective, but only three days had passed for her. With the Eye of Agamotto, she probably knew where he was anyway.

As he was thinking, Puck flew in the air before landing on his shoulder. The small spirt began to poke his nose to get his attention.

"What you thinking about?"

Samuel pushed the spirits hand out of his nose before he grabbed him by the scruff.

"To visit an acquaintance of mine."

Puck crossed his arms before tilting his head.

"The bald one?"

Samuel smirked as he placed Puck on his shoulder.

"Yup."

He stepped off his throne followed by his entourage. Beru, Igris, and Belion flanked him joining Grayfia, Diablo, and 2B. While he didn't need to be protected they insisted he always left with an escort.

He tapped his foot on the ground before he teleported them out of his Pocket Dimension back to Earth. When they all emerged they did so in Antarctica where the Savage Lands used to be.

Now that he was out of his Dimension, Samuel looked up at the sun. Even now he could feel as his viral matter body rapidly began to absorb solar radiation, cosmic energy, and energy from the Earth. All of it was rapidly converted into mana before it began to fill each of his cells.

He had effectively turned his cellular structure into a backup reserve of mana allowing him to push the limits of his creations.

"We are back to real space."

Diablo smiled as he raised a hand to the air.

"A world teaming with those uninformed about you, my glorious master."

While Diablo openly sang praises for Samuel, Grayfia was much more taciturn. She waited patiently for Samuel who was silent at the moment just enjoying the sun on his body.

Eventually, he decided to do something after he finished his meeting with the Ancient One.

"Let's be off."

Without much more delay, Samuel teleported them all to Kamar-Taj in Nepal. He wanted to read more of the Sorceror's books and to catch up with the Ancient One. Maybe even give her a short heart attack.

Speaking of The Ancient One, after finding out about Samuel's Dimension she had tried to ignore him. She couldn't really see much in his Dimension thanks to the powerful creatures that reinforced the barrier and Samuel's own increased power.

However, when Samuel and his group left his dimension, she instantly felt that Samuel was far different from the one she met days ago. Days for her, years for him, and here he was at her front door.

She sighed before she waved her hand to open a portal directly outside to where Samuel was waiting. He had teleported directly into Kamar-Taj with an entourage. At first, she thought Samuel hadn't changed much, but that was when the Eye Of Agamotto reacted.

She saw past just that and she really saw what Samuel was. A sentient living virus that was constantly mutating, evolving, and adapting. As she looked at Samuel, she saw an abomination. When she first met him she thought he was just a strange mage, but now what was she even looking at?

Samuel noticed this and smiled.

"I see you can see what I really am now."

The Ancient One nodded as she forced the Eye to close. No longer did she see the living mass of the Black Light, but just Samuel.

"What did you do to yourself?"

He raised his hand and looked at it.

"I am still me, I can still feel, I still think, I just do it better. If I explained it would take forever. Instead, I came to talk because I would like your help with something."

She looked past Samuel and looked at Diablo, Puck, Grayfia, 2B, and the three giant shadow spirits. Each of them was strong, especially the black-haired Demon and the small cat. Why did the cat feel so dangerous? When she saw through the Eye she saw what Puck really was and almost passed out.

Just Puck alone could freeze this world forever and kill all life forever.

'Why oh why does Samuel need to make these monsters? What imaginations and thoughts go through his demented mind?'

Samuel frowned as while he didn't read her mind he could guess.

"I am not demented, I just have a vivid imagination. Now, for what I am here for. I would like you to send me out of my body. Show me the multiverse if you will. I will appreciate this if you do."

Something told her she would regret it, but at this point, she decided just to roll with the flow. Time was all wonky now since nothing was certain.

"I don't mind."

She walked toward Samuel before she reached up and placed her thumb on his forehead. With a burst of her Sorcery, and with Samuel's lack of resistance, she forced his Astral Self out of his body.

When that happened his body barely flinched, but now that he was in an Astral form he looked at his hands.

"This is the Astral Form? It's curious."

The Ancient One nodded.

"As long as you remember this feeling you will now be able to separate yourself from your body. Now, are you ready to hurl through the Multiverse?"

"Of course."

The Ancient One then poked Samuel's Astral self before he was sent hurling through the Multiverse like Steven Strange did. He flew through many dimensions, planes, and realms across the multiverse.

Unlike Steven, he didn't so much release a whimper. As he flew he used his powerful soul to analyze the many realms he passed. It was a learning process for him as he remembered the way to reach this state.

How to send his mind out to search for new realms to claim for his 'patrons'. In reality, he was the Master and they would be the servants. As he was passing through many Dimensions eventually he passed the Dark Dimension and he felt a reaction from Annihilation Maker.

From the look of it, the consciousness of the gear was craving for the energy of the Dark Dimension. Samuel hadn't felt that before, but he felt it was too risky to do that now. As such, when he finally returned to his body, he looked at his own hands.

"I got it."

He focused on that feeling again before he returned to his Astral self.

"This is not the soul, just the conscious part of it. Through this state, you access the Astral Realm and it is required to probe the multiverse for dimensions to draw on. I very much appreciate this."

He returned to his body as now he would begin to search for some newly born Alternate Dimensions. He would place his own creations there for them to take over for him to draw strength from.

He also wanted to check out the Dark Dimension as Annihilation Maker was craving its dark energy.

"Thanks for the help Ancient One. You have been quite helpful to me and I will pay back this favor in the future. If you would like I could create a creature just for you. Something that can heal any injury, or I could give you a living weapon."

She shook her head.

"Honestly, I much rather you not."

Diablo's face tightened into a grimace.

"You would spit my Lord's generosity in his face?"

Samuel raised a hand causing Diablo to shut up.

"I am sorry for my rashness, my Lord."

"It's fine."

Samuel shook his head before he turned back to her.

"Forgive him. If that is what you want, I won't push it. I should be visiting more often, I am going to start delving into sorcery more and I wanted to get your pointers. Consider me just another student."

The Ancient One nodded.

"If you have questions, just ask."

In a flash of purple light, they teleported away from Kamar-Taj. When they were gone, she remembered the thing Samuel had turned into. He was now a constantly evolving virus that could unleash World Ending monstrosities on a whim.

"I am going to go crazy at this rate."

She really didn't like Samuel. Not that his personality had anything to do with it, it was just that she hated his monsters. Each one was terrifying and even if he did make a weapon or creature to heal she would worry about it all the time.

She sighed and returned to her quarters. Samuel would be back more often which was going to just increase her stress.

---

As for where Samuel went, he teleported to New York in Harlem. He had decided to pay a visit to Charles Xavier. As for the reason he wanted to see what kind of Mutants the man had.

The first X-Men movie took place in the year 2000 so most of the X-Men would be teenagers or young adults. As he looked at the large school, Charles Xaviers School For Gifted Youngsters he found that there were quite a few students at the school. All of them were mutants, but he ignored the students since he wasn't here to cause harm to a bunch of kids.

As he stepped onto the grounds his entourage caught quite a few eyes. He was quite noticeable and so were his guards especially Belion, Beru, and Igris. The three dark shadows noticed the stares which made Beru ask about it.

"Why do the children stare?"

Grayfia turned to the Shadow Ant before pointing at his face.

"You're a giant ant shadow monster, of course, they will stare."

Beru held his head high with his hands on his hips.

"The Master made me handsome did he not."

2B began to clap at his performance.

"Very handsome."

Samuel rolled his eyes.

"Don't encourage him, but he is quite an impressive specimen."

Beru beamed at the praise which just made Diablo clench his fists. Regardless, when he reached the entrance of the school he pulled the door open before walking inside.

Belion had to turn into shadows just to fit in since he was the biggest one here. Samuel was going to go to Xavier's office, but Xavier rolled himself out along with a few familiar faces as he had already sensed Samuel when he teleported onto the grounds.

One of these was Storm who looked to be about 18 years old, the other was Scott Summers who was around the same age. He also saw Beast or Henry who was about 40. Other than these familiar faces he didn't see some others who would be children right about now or infants.

"Professor Xavier, I would like to ask if you know who I am?"

Xavier shook his head, but he could take a guess.

"Are you the one behind that monster in Los Angeles?"

Samuel nodded.

"Correct. I am Samuel Corvin, the last of my race."

"I am sorry to hear that, if I may ask what is your race?"

"I am a World Sage, you can consider my race as masters of the magic arts. We produce our own magic and we can live effectively forever. We were also blessed with ridiculously good luck. That didn't do us much good in the end."

Xavier normally read the minds of others, but something told him not to.

"What happened?"

Samuel smirked.

"What else can kill a World Sage, but another World Sage? They killed each other leaving me the last of my kind. I digress, I wanted to meet you, Professor. Your hope for coexistence with humans is praiseworthy. Wish I could say the same for your old friend Magneto."

Charles sighed.

"Yes, a shame. He believes that humans and humans can't coexist in peace. Now, may I ask why you did what you did and why you are here?"

Samuel nodded.

"I took that building since I needed the technology inside. At this point, I could return it, but I don't think that would be appreciated. As for why I am here, it was to find you. I wanted to make a trade. In return for allowing my scientists to study Cereboro, I can heal your spine."

Charles didn't react with as much shock as Samuel expected, but he didn't seem moved.

"You ask a lot, for all I know you could use it for malicious things."

Samuel shrugged.

"I have no need to use Cerebro if I wanted to destroy the planet, a single spell could do that. I also don't need to do that as the planet is already fated to be destroyed. There is something being birthed in the core that I don't want to mess with."

That was news to Xavier and the current members of the X-Men.

"Something is in the core? What do you mean the Earth is doomed?"

Samuel smiled as he explained the Celestials.

"Ever heard of Celestials? They are the reason you Mutants exist. The Celestials are a race of super-advanced god-like Cosmic entities each one has enough power to birth universes. They were the ones who created the Multiverse and they experimented on the ancestors of mankind.

They created three races, The Deviants, The Eternals, and the Mutants. They implanted the X Gene into your ancestors. That is why during extreme accidents that should kill people they instead evolve and gain powers.

That isn't all, as many billions of years ago, a Celestial died on this planet. Its body fluids spilled onto the planet and caused the life that evolved to be so extraordinary. One of them is currently gestating under our feet."

Beast who had heard the whole thing felt this explained a lot.

"So that is it. The Celestials and their experimentation are the reason this planet is the way it is. Humans can gain superpowers and their special abillities. And you said one of them died here and one is being gestated? What happens when it is born?"

Samuel smiled.

"Tiamut The Communicator will burst out killing all life on the planet. Celestilans reproduce by placing an embryo in the core of a planet. When the population reaches critical mass, the Celestial awakens and bursts out."

Storm felt that was beyond cruel.

"But why? If they can create universes as you say, why kill their own creations?"

Samuel thought it was obvious.

"To be born, the Celestial needs the life of the planet. The lives of one planet that the Celestials created is a fair trade for more universes and life being created. When the day comes for Tiamut to be born, I will be long gone. I suggest you do the same. Leave the planet beforehand. All the wars humans have had as actually been slowing down the birth.

Humanities own cruelty has been what has kept them alive. Now, do we have a deal? I warned you of a future threat and informed you on why Mutants exist. I say I have done enough?"

Charles Xavier looked at Storm, Cyclops, and Beast before he clasped his hands together.

"Before I agree to anything, why not help humanity? You as the last of your kind should know how that sits in a heart. Why not help humanity and the people escape beforehand? Why not use your powers for good? Help us stop this tragedy?"

Samuel shook his head.

"I already did help, by warning you. You with your Mutant powers could prepare. Create ships to escape, as for me, I will remain here for a few more years. The universe and multiverse are infinitely large.

I also have to find The Celestial's corpse since it is still here and quite infectious. So, do we have a deal?"

Charles squinted his eyes before nodding.

"We have a deal. Is there any hope for you to change your mind?"

Samuel nodded.

"If I come to care for anyone on this planet, I might bother trying to save it. Until then, good luck. Try to change my mind."

Samuel focused on his creations before he picked two of them.

'21, Tony, I got a job for you.'

He teleported them out of their lab causing the two to appear in front of him. 21 was still wearing her white and red lab coat while Tony had already created a a Iron Man suit.

Tony's helmet split open.

"What the job boss?"

"I got a machine I want you to study and replicate. Professor Charles, these are two of my scientists. This is Tony and this is 21. They are as brilliant as they are eccentric. Now, let's me cure that spine shall I."

Samuel walked toward Charles before placing a hand on his shoulder. He drew on his magic, specifically light and healing magic. As a wave of mana flowed through Charles he grit his teeth as he felt his spin snap into place.

When that happened, feeling returned to his legs and if he was being honest he felt the fatigue of age was gone. Samuel stepped back with a smile.

"There you are. A simple spine injury, nothing major."

Charles rose up out of his chair for the first time in years and he almost couldn't believe it.

"You really did cure me."

"Heal, not cure. You weren't sick, now Cerebro."

Charles nodded.

"Henry, lead the two scientists to the machine."

Beast nodded before he began to lead Tony and 21 to the room. As he did he turned 21 and had a curious look on her face.

"Is 21 your name or a moniker?"

"A moniker, my name is Vomi."

As Tony and 21 went to Cerebro, Samuel began to look around.

"Nice school."

Charles rubbed his spine as he nodded.

"Yes it is, I hope to extend a place to all Mutants that need it."

Samuel hummed as sat down.

"You know, this is the most I have talked with another person. Normally I just stay in the background."

Storm wondered why.

"If your race can live forever, why not talk with others? How old are you anyway?"

He pointed at his head.

"Me? No clue, I woke up without any memories except for who I am, what I am, and what I can do. If I had to take a guess, I wiped my own memories to not go mad due to time.

That also causes problems with conversation. A World Sage as they grow older lose interest in interaction. In time, years can pass in a blink and you will think only days have passed. Talking to mortals is interesting. They turn to dust in the blink of an eye, so forming attachments is difficult.

World Sages also don't reproduce often, their own long lives make them reclusive as they studied their magic for millennia. I am breaking tradition I guess."

For now, he decided to stick around the X-Men for a few hours as Cerebro could be an interesting machine. Charles Xavier was also an interesting conversation. He also planned to secretly take DNA samples of the Mutants since Storm and Scott had interesting abilities.

While he was here, he also planned to raise the corpse of The Progenitor which was the Celestial corpse he needed for his Celestial Buster suit. Then he would really be a Sage of incredible power.
