I Became a Little Vampire Princess After Being Infected by a Game Virus

Chapter 36: A Bit of Reinforcement for You

Chapter 36: A Bit of Reinforcement for You

“Ah… this power, is this the strength of the Adrian People? It’s absolutely marvelous. With this power, I can crush that annoying blonde girl and that wretched woman who burnt our Boss and the others under my foot!”

A Jie stood on the rooftop, gazing at the bustling night market of the new district not far away. That was the City Lord’s territory, the very soul of Bield City.

“I really want to destroy that entire district and let those nauseatingly smiling folks feel the wrath of us lower-class people.”

With this power, A Jie could easily obliterate the new district with just a wave of his hand. But for now, he had other tasks at hand.

Five hours earlier…

A Jie had just unleashed his newfound power to obliterate the two guards who had been bullying him relentlessly.

Before he acquired this power, those two damn guards had tormented him mercilessly, hitting, kicking, slapping—every possible form of bullying was inflicted upon him.

So, the moment he got his hands on power, he sought revenge and took them out.

“How is it? This power, isn’t it super easy to use?”

After A Jie dealt with the two guards, Gilbaris returned to his side, inquiring about his experience.

“This power is amazing, thank you! I don’t really know what the Adrian People are all about, but since you’re willing to help us weak thieves, you must be a righteous ally, right?”

“A righteous ally, huh? If that’s how you want to interpret it, I suppose so.”

Hearing A Jie’s words, Gilbaris contemplated whether his actions could be considered righteous. Since this guy before him called him a righteous ally, he decided to roll with it for now.

“I have granted you a part of the Adrian People’s power. You now possess the strength for revenge.”

“Yep.”

A Jie nodded. Thanks to the help of this Adrian person, he had managed to rise from the bottom and crush those who had bullied him before.

“Now, in exchange, there’s something I hope you can help me with.”

“Say no more! Since you’ve given me power, it’s only fitting I help you. Don’t worry about just one task; I’d even walk through fire for you. What do you need?”

A Jie readily agreed to Gilbaris’s request. After all, this guy was his benefactor who granted him power, so helping him out seemed only right.

“I hope you can capture these two people. They are important sacrifices for us Adrian People.”

Gilbaris extended his hand, revealing an image of Aierjisi and Yake, both sound asleep.

“These two are!”

Seeing them, A Jie’s fists clenched. Those two had insulted him today. Unexpectedly, he was going to capture them—perfect timing to settle the score!

“How about it? Will you take on this job?”

“Of course! Coincidentally, I have a score to settle with those two. Even if you didn’t mention it, I’d want to take them down!”

A Jie rubbed his fists, eager to confront them.

“I see. Guess this timing is quite convenient.”

“However, I have a question.”

“What is it? Go ahead and ask.”

Gilbaris looked at A Jie, waiting for his question.

“Although you said to capture them, if they resist, is it okay to give them a bit of rough treatment?”

Since Gilbaris only ordered him to capture them, could he also take revenge and make them suffer a little?

“No issues there. Just don’t kill them.”

After all, the requirement for sacrifices is simply to be alive—who cares about their condition?

“Alright! I’ll head out now.”

“Ah, hold on a second. Take this as a little personal gift from me.”

Gilbaris pulled out three deep blue crystals and handed them to A Jie.

“What are these?”

“These are summoning stones; within them slumber our Adrian warriors. They will only obey the commands of the Adrian People, but since you’ve received our power, you should be able to control them too.”

“I see. They’re allies! It’ll be harder for me to overhaul this city alone, but with allies, it’ll become much easier. Thanks a lot!”

With the three crystals in hand, A Jie left for the inn, preparing for a night raid on Aierjisi and Yake.

“Gilbaris, why choose such a guy? He won’t understand our noble cause.”

The moment A Jie left, a golden teleportation gate appeared behind Gilbaris, and a swordsman stepped out from within.

“Titan. Indeed, such a guy won’t grasp our purpose. However, as a distraction to hold back Aierjisi and the others, he’s the perfect choice. After all, he’s currently blinded by hatred.”

As Gilbaris explained his reasoning, he remained calm, looking at the man behind him.

“Is that all? There’s no need for such drastic measures. Letting Aierjisi and the others go ahead wouldn’t be a problem.”

“No, it does matter a bit. Isn’t Diablo still at Panimir facing Ailin? If we don’t delay Aierjisi’s progress, it could become troublesome when those two meet.”

Since his companions were still struggling over there, Gilbaris naturally needed to hinder the Little Princess’s movements.

“I still don’t understand. Right now, you and I are in Bield; if we teamed up to capture Aierjisi, we would definitely succeed.”

Titan couldn’t comprehend why Gilbaris chose this plan when they were both right there. Facing two Ultimate Life Forms, Aierjisi would surely be defeated.

“No, you don’t understand. That Little Princess possesses a mysterious and powerful strength.”

“Mysterious powerful strength?”

Titan became even more curious about what kind of power could earn such acclaim from Gilbaris.

“Yeah. When I fought her, she suddenly transformed into something else and repelled me in one blow.”

“Nani? Repelled in one hit? Are you sure you’re not joking?”

Titan was increasingly skeptical whether Gilbaris was serious. One hit repelling an Ultimate Life Form? Impossible. How could such a being exist?

“It’s true! Didn’t you see? When you fought that Phoenix.”

Gilbaris looked at Titan’s left hand, where the burn marks from the Flame Phoenix lingered. That sign of humiliation was purposefully left untreated, a reminder for their next encounter with the Phoenix.
