I Became a Little Vampire Princess After Being Infected by a Game Virus

Chapter 42: Activate! Za Peili Ao!

Chapter 42: Activate! Za Peili Ao!

“This is the room used for testing weapons; I’ll stay out. Excuse me.”

“Oh. Thank you for bringing us here. Do your thing.”

Following a guard, we arrived at the door of a room. But do Gaia and the others really test weapons in here? Wouldn’t it make more sense to do it outdoors to gauge the weapon’s full power?

“Forget it. I won’t think about it too much; let’s just take a look inside. Maybe it’s a surprisingly spacious place.”

Aierjisi shook off her random thoughts and pushed the door open.

“Ah?”

“Ah?”

After seeing the scenery inside the room, Aierjisi and Yake were both stunned. Because what lay within was less a room and more like an outdoor space.

And this outdoor space wasn’t a glacial wasteland like outside the Royal Palace, but a vibrant, spring-green lawn.

“What’s this called again? That technique we used for taking wedding photos, right? The one where you can freely adjust the scenery in the room. If we’re testing weapons here, it seems fitting since all these views are virtual; any damage would have no impact on the real world.”

“Yeah, I guess that makes sense, though I’m not entirely sure.”

Yake, being a country bumpkin, wouldn’t know much about this! Anyway, as long as they could test the weapon smoothly, that was all that mattered.

“Alright, let’s hurry and test it then.”

Aierjisi pulled out her gun and retrieved a prepared magazine from her waist.

【Gomora】

“Gomora? Is that the name of a Magical Beast?”

Upon hearing the name broadcasted from the magazine, Yake felt curious as if he had heard it somewhere before.

“Don’t mind the details. Just make sure it works.”

Aierjisi brushed off Yake’s curiosity with a wave and casually attached the magazine to the gun.

【Activate, Super Vibration Wave!】

“Let’s see what this baby can do.”

Aierjisi aimed at a nearby stone mountain and pulled the trigger. A beam of light shot out from the gun and struck the stone mountain.

In less than five seconds, cracks appeared on the stone mountain, then the light obliterated it completely, leaving nothing but a pile of rubble.

“Whoa! Is it really that powerful?!”

Witnessing the whole process of this new weapon’s might, Yake couldn’t hold back his astonishment. Just one weapon could shatter such a mountain in five seconds! He immediately felt his own sword was lacking in comparison.

“Of course! It’s my creation, so naturally it’s powerful.”

“Shouldn’t it be Ouxs who made it? You’re just the one who made the magazine, right?”

“Geez, you’re so annoying! I told you not to sweat the small details. If I had the blueprints, I could make this weapon too; I’m just lazy. Here, take this and attach it to your sword’s hilt. Let’s see how powerful your weapon can be.”

Aierjisi casually handed another magazine to Yake, encouraging him to try swinging his sword.

“Oh, then I’ll give it a shot.”

【Activate, Za Peili Ao!】

“Uh? What is this weird name?”

“I told you not to worry about the details. Just hurry up and test it.”

Seeing Yake getting distracted by yet another strange name, Aierjisi impatiently urged him to get on with testing the weapon’s power. If it didn’t succeed, she would just ask Ouxs for improvements later.

“You’re so impatient. Fine, let’s start the test.”

Yake inserted the magazine into the socket on the hilt and searched for a target.

【Let’s try that one, see how powerful this modified weapon really is.】

Yake chose another stone mountain, swinging his sword and unleashing a wave of energy in the shape of a sword blade.

Boom!

With just a single strike, the stone mountain was reduced to countless fragments.

“Ah… is this power really that insane?”

Even Yake himself was taken aback by this strength. Just one hit could achieve such results! It was significantly more powerful than before.

“Well? What do you think? Isn’t this modified weapon super strong?”

Aierjisi nodded in satisfaction after seeing the test results. Seems like Ouxs did a decent job with the modifications, but more importantly, her created items were impressive enough to deliver such powerful strikes.

“Not just strong, it’s ridiculously powerful! With this weapon, I’m confident I could take down Diablo in one hit.”

Looking at the scattered rubble on the ground, Yake had never been this excited before. With this weapon, he’d be unstoppable! Just a regular swing could have such strength; how could Diablo possibly stand a chance against him?

“Confidence is good, but I think you should be careful. After all, Diablo is an Ultimate Life Form. A single attack might not be enough to take him down.”

Aierjisi recalled the sensation when they fought Diablo before. That guy’s skin was tougher than any mountain. Their attacks would merely injure him; it definitely wouldn’t be enough to claim his life. A pendant was needed for that.

Wait a minute? What if after using the power in her pendant, she let Yake use it? Wouldn’t that make him reach a divine level too?

She should’ve asked Gabriel about this earlier. Unfortunately, she couldn’t get in touch with her now.

“What’s wrong? You’ve been staring at me.”

“Oh, nothing. Just thinking of something.”

“What kind of something? Spill it to me.”

“Telling you is pointless. Plus, your brain isn’t the best, is it?”

“I won’t deny that.”

Yake readily admitted he wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed, hence why Aierjisi usually formulated their combat strategies.

But that’s not necessarily bad. Since he wasn’t keen on strategizing, he could simply follow her orders in battle.

“So, as I said, telling you is pointless. Let’s go; the weapon’s been tested, and there’s no point in lingering here. Let’s move out.”

“Oh. Okay, I’m on my way! Don’t leave me behind!”
