I Become Master of Danger Zones as Incubus With Mastery In Genetic

Chapter 461: Battle Against Hero's Party III

"Well, that is terrifying." Alros exclaimed, unable to say anything else to the threat of the Hero.

"H-how did she manage to detect us!?" unlike Luen, who managed to ask the right question.

"S-ranks are existence akin to Demigods of the world. So, she likely possess great physical strength as well as strong innate magic. It's likely her detection ability far surpass even mine." Alros calmly said, though inside, he was not as calm.

"Since we cannot spy on her, it would be harder to detect her or predict her movement." Luen continued, voicing the danger that would come.

"While we could not send in any familiar to spy on them, detecting them is another thing all together. After all, birds and flying monsters still on the table, aren't they?"

Hearing his inquiry, Luen's eyes lit up, realizing the truth of her Master's words.

"It seem I am still green compared to you, Master." she said in a sultry tone. "Maybe I should be punished for it."

While the Archdemon of Lust would not mind embracing the lifestyle of his kind, he had a far more pressing matter to attend to. Discover stories at empire

"When I defeat them," seeing the look of disbelief, which is fair, the enemy is an S-rank Hero, he continued, "because if I don't, then we will not have peace unless we abandon our forces and the spoils of war," There is no way for him to leave such massive spoils of war, especially the human variant because of one Hero!

"Lady Mirna. Is it a smart thing to kill the familiar?" one of the Holy Mage asked. Seeing the look she was giving him, he hastily explained,

"You could use the hand signal and tell us of the familiar before giving them false information." she did not think of that, but she need to appear as the capable leader the Holy Nation placed her as, so, she came with few reasons to counter it.

"First, giving them false information would not do much." she pointed out. Seeing the look the others giving her, she continued his explanation.

"Think about, we are monitored from the start, allowing them to find us whereever we are. Even if we give them false information, would they believe what they heard or what they see through the familiar." no one could refute her, which is a good thing as the reason was rather flimsy.

"Second, aside from me, the real leader of the demon likely able to defeat any one of you in one v one combat." not sugercoating it, Mirna laid out the cold, hard truth.

Despite them hating it, no one could disagree, as a single Archdemon send by the leading demon would force them into a prolong fight, and the leading demon would be far stronger to lead them.

"So, splitting us up would be a quick way to lose personal with nothing to show. I know some of you will agree to sacrifice your life to kill the demon, but I prefer such sacrifice, aside from being done with my permission and your belief, would yield result, preferably with the leasing Archdemon's head on a pike."

The members of Astor Hero Expedition lowered their heads, as the Hero continue to tell his reasons, further solidifying her position as the leader and proving her strategic acumen to the others.

After finishing her explanation, she turned toward the direction of Lunos Forest with a frown.

"We need to speed up and find the demon, fast." she said with an urgent tone.

"Now? All of us are still tire-"

"And you will be even tired when you are trying to get a good night sleep only for monsters to attack you, or the demon to appear and try to kill all of us." cutting of her party member, Mirna replied coldly.

The others have their pupils shrinking, realizing the truth of the situation. They are in hostile territory, and their enemy could harass them to no end, forcing them to an exhausted state with constant skirmish and feign attack, with some real attack in the mix.

"We are in the mercy of the demon, and to not be playing in its palm, we need to attack it as quickly as we could." this time, no one argued with her, finding her reasoning sound.

"They continue their march to Lunos Forest, master." Luen reported.

"I see." Alros nodded, "Looks like the Hero is more capable than I thought," as the Hero had been worried about, the Archdemon planned on sending his monsters and clones to continue harassing the party when they are sleeping.

With them on the move, while their harassment would have some effect, it would not be as effective as it could have been.

"It seem so. Should we continue the attack as planned regardless?" the Elder Witch asked.

"No," Alros shook his head. "It won't do much for us aside from giving more target practice for the Hero." he could not see his clones being anything than that. Of course, he could not see A-ranks being anything but mere annoyance to S-rank beings.

"Well, have them launch spells, forcing the Mage to expend their mana usage. If we do so, by the time they reach the border of Lunos Forest, the Mage would not be able to do much."

"Understood." nodding, Luen transmit the plan to the clones, before turning back to her Master. Her face screamed 'fuck me!' but she hold her desire for now. Though, when the Hero is dealt with, as any other result would lead to her and her master demise, she would be claiming the first day, even if she had to share with the lovers of Alros.

As for the Archdemon himself, he said to himself, his tone cold and calculative.

"Let see what you will do next, Hero."

"Looks like what you predict will come true, Lady Mirna!" Kirana said as the Holy Mages creatr another barrier.

The Hero nodded before slashing at one of the Archdemon. She could not afford to sleep, as doing so would invite the monsters to attack them, and she did not think she could prepare herself for the fight before them escaping once more.

So, she had to remain awake for as long as she could, less her party destroyed in the darkness of the night.
