==============

The morning of my discharge, sunlight streamed into the white hospital room.

"Thank you for everything," I said, bowing deeply. Oyama smiled quietly.

"No, thank you." She took something from her white coat pocket: a gleaming silver card and a small key.

"This..."

"It's room 1205 at 'Premium Residence' by the station." I looked up, surprised. I'd heard of that luxury apartment building; it was admired even by the doctors here.

"Use it freely."

"But..."

"I've sent you my work schedule on LINE," she said. My phone vibrated softly, displaying a neatly arranged schedule. "Please use it as if it's your own room, even when I'm not there." Oyama's voice had a strange mix of clinical calm and a hint of urgency.

"Truly... thank you for everything." I bowed deeply again.

"No, thank you. And we'll meet again." The light from the window illuminated her white coat.

"Yes, I'll visit again." I picked up my bag and left the room. Looking back, Dr. Oyama was quietly watching me from the window.

Stepping out of the hospital, I took a deep breath of the spring air. The fresh air filled my lungs after so long. In my pocket, the ID card and key felt heavy.

"That's right..." I opened my phone's map. There was a certain place around here, I recalled...

"Yamaoka's school." I confirmed the location on the screen. About a 15-minute walk.

Clutching the new key, I started walking. There was still work to be done. To protect Anri and Kokoro. The spring sunlight cast my shadow long before me.

In the evening, at the school gate, I spotted Yamaoka among the students leaving for the day.

"Hey, Yamaoka."

"Oh, Satou? I heard you almost died, but you're out already?" Yamaoka's smirking smile held an unpleasant edge.

"I just wanted to talk." We moved to the deserted back of the school building. The setting sun cast our shadows long.

"Speaking of which," Yamaoka said with a malicious grin, "did you hear about the Tachibana sisters?"

My heart skipped a beat.

"They're Katagiri's pets now, apparently. Even that arrogant Anri..."

"Oh, really?" I tried to feign indifference.

"You knew? Katagiri showed me. The videos." Yamaoka's eyes gleamed eerily. "It was amazing. Anri, especially, surprised me. That girl who always looked down on everyone..."

"Yamaoka," I said calmly.

"What?"

"Your shoulders seem a little stiff."

"Huh?"

"Want me to give you a massage?" Before Yamaoka could react with a puzzled look, I placed my hands on his shoulders.

At that moment, my ability activated.

"Ah..." The light faded from Yamaoka's eyes. His memories of Anri and Kokoro. His memories of the videos Katagiri showed him. All of them quietly vanished.

"What's wrong?"

"Huh? Wait... what am I... you were...?" Yamaoka looked around confused.

"You said your shoulders were stiff on the way back from class, right?"

"Oh, uh... was I?"

"Yeah. If you don't need anything else, I'm heading off." A bewildered voice called out to my retreating back. "Hey, Satou! Am I forgetting something?"

I waved without looking back. The setting sun cast my shadow long.

One down. There were probably three left. But I would get them all. To protect Anri and Kokoro's new normal.

The dim, twilight karaoke parlor. At the entrance, where the neon lights flickered eerily, Teramoto and Tanaka were waiting.

"Hey," Teramoto said with a malicious grin. "Isn't that Satou?"

"Rare sight," Tanaka said with a similar expression.

"You, here." They were both in their school uniforms, but they seemed strangely at ease, despite being on their part-time shift.

"I wanted to ask you two something," I began quietly.

"Ah, I know," Teramoto said, giving a meaningful glance. "It's about the Tachibana sisters, right?"

"I know about what happened in this karaoke parlor too," I said. Their smiles deepened.

"Oh, really?" Tanaka sneered. "We've used this place many times."

Teramoto said proudly, "We even joined in a few times."

Anger churned in my chest, but I kept my expression neutral.

"It was amazing," Tanaka's voice grew excited. "Anri and Kokoro were like, 'more, more!'"

"You wouldn't imagine it from their usual selves, I call them the 'Slippery Sisters,'" Teramoto added.

The music from inside the store blended with their twisted laughter.

"The videos?" I asked quietly.

"Oh, those are just Katagiri's," Teramoto said, shaking his head regretfully. "He didn't let us copy them."

"I see," my voice turned cold as ice. "That's too bad for you two, I really wanted to see those videos myself."

I subtly extended both hands, quietly placing them on Teramoto and Tanaka's shoulders.

"Are you serious?" Teramoto tilted his head, looking puzzled. My hands gripped their shoulders firmly.

At that moment, images flooded into my mind. Their memories. Inside the karaoke booth. The Tachibana sisters' agony. Katagiri's cruel smile. And mixed with it, their own distorted expressions of enjoyment.

(Unforgivable.)

My ability quietly activated. Teramoto and Tanaka's eyes gradually became vacant. Memories, one by one, vanished. As if rewinding a video tape. The events at the karaoke parlor. The secret meetings with Katagiri. Everything faded like mist.

"Huh...?" Teramoto looked around confused. "Why are we...?"

"What were we doing...?" Tanaka looked equally bewildered.

The neon lights of the parlor irregularly illuminated their confused faces.

"Good job," I said, quietly releasing my hands. "Good luck with your shift."

"Oh, uh..." They remained stunned, walking back into the depths of the karaoke parlor.

Watching them go, I sighed deeply. The weight of the erased memories still felt like it lingered in my palms.

(Next...)

Only Katagiri remained. I had to settle things with him, the root of all this.

Leaving the karaoke parlor, the spring night wind brushed coldly against my cheek. As if foreshadowing the battle to come.

In front of Katagiri's dojo, moonlight cast an eerie glow on the building.

"You're back again, persistent, aren't you? This time, I'll really kill you," Katagiri's voice echoed coldly. "Don't you value your life?"

"No, that's not it," I said, spreading my hands in a gesture of surrender. "I came to warn you today."

Katagiri's expression showed a hint of interest. He gestured for me to enter the dojo.

"I know about your paralysis ability," I began quietly. "A supernatural power. It was an amazing force."

Katagiri sat on a chair, a knowing smirk on his face.

"Last time, I truly thought I was going to be killed." My voice held fear. It wasn't an act. The terror I felt then was real.

"Is that so?" Katagiri's voice sounded satisfied. "So you understood my strength?"

"However..." I chose my words carefully. "It's dangerous."

"What is?" Katagiri's eyes narrowed.

"Someone who used a similar ability," I continued with a serious expression, "became mentally incapacitated."

A heavy silence filled the air. Katagiri's expression wavered slightly, but then he quickly smirked.

"Don't lie," Katagiri's voice grew slightly aggressive.

"It's true," I said, maintaining my composure. "I even received an explanation from a doctor. There's a witness, a doctor's explanation, the person who became incapacitated, and their victim. Would you like to meet these people in person?" I continued, "It's because I know, the strength, the fear, the horror of it, that I came to warn you. Momota's power is dangerous."

Katagiri's expression changed in an instant. "You... know Momota?" His voice trembled. As soon as that name was mentioned, his composed expression began to crumble.

"I told you I did," I said with a sigh. "I've said it many times, haven't I?"

Silence filled the room. For the first time, a look of hesitation appeared in Katagiri's eyes.

"Do you... want to become incapacitated?" My voice echoed quietly.

I could tell that my words were definitely shaking Katagiri's resolve. His expression twisted with fear and unease, as if reflecting his crumbling confidence. I looked directly into Katagiri's eyes and quietly forced out the words. "You can still go back."

Katagiri's eyes wavered slightly. Long shadows stretched across the dojo's tatami mats.

"Please stop this." My voice carried genuine urgency. It wasn't an act. I truly wanted to end this situation.

"Anri and Kokoro..." The moment I uttered their names, Katagiri's expression tightened faintly. "Release them." I bowed deeply. "Please forgive me."

Katagiri remained silent, absorbing my words. The arrogance from moments before had vanished from his face.

"And... delete the videos too." At these words, Katagiri's body trembled slightly. The mention of me holding evidence seemed to genuinely rattle him.

"You have family too, don't you?" I continued quietly. "Someone precious."

Katagiri's eyes darted away for a moment, like a cornered beast.

"If you continue to use your ability like this..." I chose my words carefully. "You will definitely become incapacitated."

A heavy silence fell over the dojo. Katagiri's breathing had become slightly ragged. I could sense fear slowly eroding his composure.

"Those two are mine," Katagiri's voice suddenly regained its strength. His eyes held a mad obsession. "I won't let them go. I won't hand them over to anyone. You should understand, too." Katagiri's voice pierced into my heart. "Do you have the courage to let go of a treasure once you've obtained it? Power! Authority! Women!"

At his words, my heart wavered. Could I really let go of this power? Could I let go of Ryoko and the others? Me too—

"You're the same, aren't you?" Katagiri's pressing continued. "Are you telling me to let go?"

I couldn't answer. This power, indeed. It was to save the Tachibana sisters. But it wasn't just that. It was already a part of me.

"Can you let go?" His sharp question. Those words pierced the depths of my heart.

I couldn't answer.

"I see." I sighed deeply. It wasn't an act; it was a genuine sound of resignation.

In the dojo, as night began to fall, the faint remaining sunset cast its last light.

"You're right," I said, looking directly into Katagiri's eyes. "Those two are already yours. I heard they're happy too, that you're constantly fucking them and making them come, right?"

Katagiri's expression relaxed with satisfaction. A triumphant, arrogant grin spread across his face.

"I'll give up. If they're happy, then it's just meddling, isn't it?" My voice conveyed a deep sense of defeat. "At least," I chose my words carefully, "make them happy."

Katagiri's eyes gleamed even brighter. The composure of a complete victor radiated from his entire being. "I acknowledge you. As expected, strong men get whatever they want. I can't compete."

I played my last card. "From now on, if you're ever inclined, and if those two are okay with it, could you let me join in? I'd like to fuck those beautiful sisters at least once too. Every man must think the same, right?"

I could tell Katagiri's breathing was becoming excited. The joy of obtaining a new pawn as a complete dominator.

I subtly extended my right hand. "From now on, as a loser, I'll do whatever you say. Let me be your servant."

A twisted grin appeared on Katagiri's face. Katagiri's hand slowly extended, a gesture filled with the victor's composure.

We shook hands firmly. At that moment...

(Now!)

My ability quietly activated. The power to erase memories flowed into Katagiri like a flood.

First, the memories of the karaoke room. From the moment he dominated the Tachibana sisters, the time filled with distorted pleasure drained away like sand from an hourglass.

Next, the memories of their dates. The sisters defecating in the park. Anal sex on the train. Dominant behavior during shopping. Hand-jobs in the movie theater. Everything faded like mist.

His encounter with Momota. The exhilaration of receiving the piercing. The joy of awakening his ability. These too vanished one after another.

And finally, even the events of the practice match. Even the memory of that day, which had started everything.

Katagiri's eyes rapidly lost focus.

"Uh... what...?" The shock of a massive amount of memories disappearing at once. Was it the burden on his brain? Katagiri's body swayed slightly.

I didn't miss my chance. Quickly, I reached for his ear, my fingers on the piercing.

"Wha-what are you...?" Katagiri's voice sounded distant. I pulled it out with a swift motion, and a small metallic sound echoed. In my clenched hand, the piercing was crushed into a mangled shape. I slipped the crushed piercing into my pocket. The cold metallic sensation marked the end of everything.

Katagiri's eyes slowly refocused. "Huh?" He looked around with a bewildered expression. The arrogant smirk was gone.

"Speaking of which..." Katagiri tilted his head. "You're the person from the Tachibana dojo, right?" His eyes held a look of pure confusion. The darkness of the dominator was gone. "What was your business today, anyway?"

He remembered nothing. Everything had vanished with the night wind.

"Oh," I said, smiling quietly. "Good luck with your karate training."

"Huh?"

"I'll be cheering you on."

As night fully descended on the dojo, I turned my back and began to walk away. I could sense Katagiri still tilting his head behind me, but I wouldn't look back. The crushed piercing in my pocket. It was the last testament to this long battle.

(It's over.)

Leaving the dojo, the streetlights gently illuminated my path.
