Chapter 154: AM Coven Opening
AM Coven stood as a masterpiece of futuristic design.
Every inch of it reflected August's meticulous planning.
The main floor was had been turned into a high-tech environment with glowing panels, holographic displays, and intricate detailing.
Each display cases that lined the walls were illuminated by soft ambient light to highlight the items within.
The Players' Lounge was a welcoming area, outfitted with comfortable seating, digital kiosks for transactions, and a central hub where players could gather to discuss trades and strategies.
For August, this wasn't just a business—it was the foundation of something revolutionary.
He stood in the main hall as his helmet reflected the light from the display cases while he accessed his inventory.
One by one, items began to materialize in the shop.
A shimmering Sword of Emberflame uncommon grade weapon appeared first. It's blade glowing faintly as if still carrying the heat of the flames it was forged in.
Next came a collection of Silverfang Daggers. Their edges seemed so sharp like they could cut you just from staring at them.
"Let's start with these," August muttered to himself, carefully placing each item into its designated case.

The Starweaver Amulet was one of the items he acquired during the Swordking's Dungeon clearing.
It shimmered like a constellation trapped in glass. It found its place in a case near the front of the shop. It would no doubt command attention when AM coven was fully open.
August continued his work, extracting an array of items—enchanted swords, mystical trinkets, protective talismans, and rare artifacts. Each item was positioned to catch the eye, every display meticulously curated to exude both value and power.
As he worked, his thoughts drifted to the Fruit of Sin, safely stored in his inventory. For a moment, he considered extracting it. The item was priceless, a treasure sought by players and collectors alike. But he shook his head.
"Not yet," he muttered. "Too much risk right now."
The fruit would remain a secret for now. He intended to reserve it for a later time when the right opportunity arose.
Once all the items were displayed, August turned his attention to the shop's security. The traps and motion detection attack systems he had extracted from the game were essential to ensuring AM Coven's safety.
He activated the Motion Trigger Devices first, strategically placing them throughout the shop.
Next, he set up the Snapbomb Traps near the most valuable items. Their mechanisms were concealed but ready to spring into action if needed. Finally, he linked the motion detection systems to an Echo Core, which would alert him and the guards to any unauthorized activity.
August stepped back with a look of satisfaction whe admiring his work. The shop felt alive now as every detail fell into place.
It wasn't just a marketplace—it was a sanctuary for players who wanted to trade their hard-earned treasures without fear of theft or interference.
...
...
The private training room of AM Coven became a battleground of progress over the past week.
The five guards—Greg, Marcus, Eliot, Terry, and Darnell—were no longer just factory workers.
Under Aleman's guidance, they had transformed into a well-coordinated team, each man mastering the gear and gadgets he had extracted from Enders Light.
Day in and day out, August, disguised as Aleman, drilled them relentlessly, ensuring they could handle any situation that might arise.
"Again!" Aleman barked as Greg, wearing the Titan Arms Mk II, fired a powerful energy blast at a moving target. The blast hit its mark, shattering the reinforced dummy into pieces.
Greg lowered the robotic arm, grinning despite the sweat dripping down his face. "I think I'm getting the hang of this, boss."
"You're improving," Aleman acknowledged while stepping forward. "But don't get cocky. In a real fight, you won't have time to celebrate."
Meanwhile, Darnell, equipped with Fleetfoot Greaves, darted across the room with speed as he set up traps. "Done," he called out, skidding to a halt.
Aleman activated the Motion Trigger Device, and a faint ping echoed through the room as the traps sprang to life. "Good timing," he said. "But try to shave off half a second. That could be the difference between catching an intruder and losing them."
Darnell groaned but nodded. "Got it, boss. Half a second faster, coming right up."
Terry and Eliot were on another side of the room, practicing with smoke bombs and decoys. Eliot activated the Echo Core, which projected a holographic duplicate of himself. "This thing's crazy," Eliot watched the decoy mimic his movements in amazement.
"Good for confusing enemies," Aleman replied. "But don't rely on it too much. Always have a backup plan."
Marcus, ever the powerhouse, was testing the durability of the Aegis Plate.
Aleman tossed a smoke bomb at him, then dashed in using Void Stepper, reappearing right in front of Marcus and slamming a training staff into his chest. The armor absorbed the impact with a faint glow.
Marcus staggered back while grinning. "That's all you've got?"
Aleman tilted his head. "You want more?"
Raising his hand, Aleman charged a Thunder Spear.
[ ThunderSpear Has Been Activated ]
The air vibrated with electrifying energy as snaky blue light gathered in his palm. The guards froze as their eyes widened.
"Boss, wait—" Marcus called out and fortunately Aleman fired the spear at a reinforced wall instead.
The blast was deafening as the spear exploding on impact and leaving a scorched crater.
Everyone stared at the destruction with stunned looks.
"And that," Aleman said calmly while lowering his hand, "is why I only use that outside. Let's stick to the basics for now."
'How can he even do that?' the guards were starting to realize that despite their powerful equipments, they still weren't the strongest in the room.
While the guards continued practicing, Derrick stepped forward. "You know I'm not really a game guy, right?"
"You're still going to learn," Aleman replied while tossing him a set of lightweight gear. "Even if you're running things most of the time, you need to know how to use these equipments to defend yourself... The world is changing, you never know who you might run into."
Derrick sighed while slipping on the gear. "Fine, but if I break something, it's on you."
The two worked through drills, with Derrick focusing on using the same robotic arms with the others and testing out the durability of the armor.
---
Outside the training room, AM Coven was bustling with activity. August had hired a team of staff to handle the day-to-day operations.
Customer service representatives who would greet clients at the front desk, accountants managed the financials, and cleaners ensured the building remained pristine. Each person had been carefully vetted before getting picked.
The aesthetic of the place was astonishing. Display cases lined the walls, each housing an item extracted from Enders Light.
Swords with glowing runes, daggers imbued with shadowy energy, and trinkets that seemed to exuded magical energy. Magic staffs, Berserkers axe, and even arrows were in the mix...
Every corner of AM Coven exuded a futuristic, almost magical charm, leaving visitors in awe the moment they stepped through the doors.
---
The day of the grand opening had arrived. The entire staff, guards included, stood assembled in the main hall.
Aleman stood before them with his helmet glowing faintly as he addressed the group.
"Welcome to AM Coven," he began with a commanding tone. "What we've built here isn't just a business—it's a sanctuary. A place where players can safely trade their treasures, extracted from the game into reality. A place where innovation meets security."
He gestured to the guards. "These men are the first line of defense. They've trained tirelessly to ensure this place remains safe. And every one of you—customer service, accountants, cleaners—you're all part of something bigger. Together, we're setting a new standard."
The staff applauded with enthusiasm. They couldn't wait to see what this new journey had to offer.
Derrick stepped forward, grinning. "Let's get to work, people!"
As the doors opened to the public, the first wave of customers entered.
These were people that had already heard of it online since August had used the video of saving the patient at Faith Specialist Hospital as a form of promotion.
He posted a video online a few days prior to this mentioning AM Coven and how it will be a place for gamers.
He also displayed items extracted and the video blew up online so the turn out wasn't unexpected.
The expressions of the ones who had just arrived immediately shifted to awe as they took in the displays.
A young player gasped as he spotted the Sword of Emberflame while another pointed excitedly at a glowing amulet.
"This place is insane," one customer whispered.
"It's like something out of a movie," another added.
Aleman observed from a distance, satisfied. Everything had fallen into place, and AM Coven was already starting to make it's mark.
As the day progressed, August slipped into a quiet corner to observe the activity.
AM Coven was officially open for business.
