I Finally Completed The Game After 45.000 Hours

I was going back home after another great day at school. My friends had shown me a new game that had just released.

They told me to come test it out with them, it seemed fun enough, a street fighting game.

I was always a game enjoyer, however I'm not a kid anymore, I have to focus on school so I do well in life.

But playing with friends for a bit isn't that bad right?

Well I'll just quickly finish my homework and go enjoy myself.

It wasn't long before I came back home. Mom was already waiting at the door for me. I forced a smile, living a perfect life isn't that easy. Sometimes things just don't go the way you want.

I have done my homework, but my mom still wouldn't let me go out to play with my friends. Dad would usually calm her down, but... Dad has passed away because of something my mom doesn't tell me.

I always wondered about it, but mother would just scold me for asking her. Well I guess it's fine, at least I can enjoy life at school.

*alarm clock went off*

Is it already time for school?

Ah, it happened again... let me go wash my face.

I got ready for school, nobody wished me good morning or offered me any breakfast.

On my way to school I met a friend and we went to school together, we talked about some stuff, we arrived and split up, we were in different classes.

I sat down in my place. Someone approached me, it was the guys- friends, I left hanging yesterday.

"Hey, sorry, I couldn't go yesterday-"

The big friend slammed down at my table. "Hey you don't think you can leave us hanging like that, do you? Offer some compensation!"

I bit my lips. FUCK!

and forced a smile "Yes, of course, don't worry."

"Thats what I like to hear! Come to our secret place after school, we'll play that game today.

That game huh? My lip was bleeding, not that it's something new.

At school nobody talked to me for the rest of the day, and the day went by too quickly.

I headed to "our secret place", only to see my friends waiting for me already. One of them approached me.

*Cough*

"How dare you make your friends wait for you!?" the friend that just kicked me asked.

I didn't bother to reply, for what? It was pointless. No matter what I say the result is always the same.

My friends left, they were in a good mood and left while talking about something I couldn't be bothered to listen to.

If only I could be reborn into one of these novels as the main hero... and save the world!

I would have the perfect life I dreamed of so many times...

I took out my phone and called my mother, she took the call and started shouting at me. Drunk again, huh?

Whatever. I went somewhere, I didn't want to go home. My mind was clouded, if only I could go back to the days when father was alive...

Then a bright light assaulted my eyes, and suddenly it became dark.

Am I dead? Finally.

And then it became bright again. I was in a white room, full of people. So many people, it would take days to count!

"Welcome players, this is the world 'Star Dust' was based on, you have been summoned here to save the world, o brave heroes!"

Star... Dust? Isn't that a game that's like 15 years old? I remember playing it... ugh all that agony.

It became loud all of a sudden, people started shouting all kinds of swears, they wanted to go back.

I was happy, my wish was granted. I could become the hero of another world and live the perfect life!

A bright light appeared, it killed a bunch of people in a second. I was shocked, my body trembled in fear.

"First warning. Become heroes and save the world! A very special entity will soon descent upon this world. I hope you lot will be able to kill it."

The room fell silent, a bunch of people just died, and you tell us to fight for your world?

Nobody dared to make a sound, the first warning was... convincing, to say the least.

"Very well." it sounded contemptuous, you could practically hear the smirk on its face!

We all got teleported to the middle of some city, later I learned it's called Starlight city.

An image of a woman appeared in the sky, looking down on all the people present here. It started preaching about how we all are heroes, and that we will save the world.

I wanted to be a hero, yes, and I would become one. I will avenge the people she killed!

However, the people of this city hated us. They tried to enslave us as soon as the image of the goddess dissappeared, some were killed instantly.

Despair, that's what I was feeling. I couldn't do anything. I thought I might be able to avenge the people that died with the help of the people here, or at the very least plot against her in secret... but this dream was gone.

I was reduced to a mere slave. Some managed to gain the trust of the king and became knights, however they didn't try to help the others from earth.

If anything they only treated us even worse than the natives of this world, how laughable.

One day a young man appeared out of nowhere. He killed the 2 people who reduced us to this state in the blink of an eye!

He wrecked the palace, and then fought with the Holy Order alone, a true hero! My eyes lit up with a new burning flame I hadn't felt in years... this was my chance!

I aspired to be like him! I grabbed a dagger and shouted out "Help him!".

He killed the leader of the battalion, and a bunch of other warriors, in this state we could retaliate.

We won the fight, as I wanted to thank our savior, he was already gone. Did he believe we could kill them all on our own? Was this an opportunity? Thank you!

I lead other earthlings to the church, we had to finish our business with them. It started raining... this didn't happen once since we were summoned here. What happened?

Once we arrived at the church, our savior walked out of it, he informed us of the hostages in the basement.

He did not only give us the opportunity, he even went straight to the church to take care of it for us! A true hero for real!

I nodded to him, this was a gesture of appreciation and respect. The young man had left the city. Not even half the people the goddess kidnapped had been teleported to Starlight city, maybe he went to liberate the others too?

This young man will always be my inspiration!

I had to take care of the manager of this church, this is the only way to liberate us from slavery!
