I Finally Completed The Game After 45.000 Hours

Chapter 26: Voice of the Universe

The goddess suddenly woke up from her slumber.

After she had battled that dog, her mind became quite tired and she went to take a nap.

This was natural. Creating a star requires complex mathematics and understanding of nature.

She suddenly felt a very strong energy condensing in her world, it was even stronger than the star she condensed earlier.

Did another God decide to take over her world?

She looked furious. She was the strongest among the gods in the alliance. At least she believed that to be the case.

The power she was feeling initself isn't all that much compared to her full strength... but still is more than any of the gods she knew personally.

She had to descent and check it out, she wouldn't have to face the punishment of the universe if another God is invading her!

She ripped open a portal and appeared infront of the crater she made earlier. It was still raining but no sound could be heard.

She saw a man she had seen before. It was the guy that was destroying her statues! What is he doing here?

She was pissed at him but still cautious of his scythe... wait, what is that green sphere?

The goddess finally noticed the green ball that was emitting a barely visible light. Her face suddenly turned pale.

She felt the power of another God and that's why she came here... but that power was coming from this sphere!

And that power... it was way more powerful than she felt from her home. It was atleast half of her current power.

"What are you doing!?" the goddess shouted at Zero. She had to stop him from further condensing the energy. It was insane that a mortal possessed so much divine power, if he were to condense an actual star right here... she had no way to save her world.

Zero saw her the moment she appeared. He didn't show any emotion or particular reaction to her appearance.

He expected the goddess to appear here actually.

He had decided that if she could make a star, he should be able to make one too. He was absorbing her power after all.

His intention was the end of this world. Not only was this run complete shit to begin with, but also he had lost the only being he cared about in this world.

Zero answered the goddess with silence. He starred at her. The lightning was lighting up their faces from time to time.

"Do you know that you will die if you continue!? If yes then do you intend to take the whole world with you??" The goddess was quite distressed, she couldn't figure out what exactly this mans intention is and if he even knows what he is doing.

A gods strength comes from the world's they create or rule over. All kinds of celestial bodies create some kind of energy, the higher the tier of the celestial body the more energy it produces.

Gods feed on that energy. Basically gods create life, and that life pays them back in form of energy at some point.

Planets without any kind of life forms are basically a powerplant without fuel, that's why life forms is a must for gods.

Stars on the other hand don't require life to produce energy, they produce energy themselves in an amount that a planet can't even compare to.

That's why gods that can create stars are way more powerful than those that can only create planets.

This man was slowly forming a star! The goddess couldn't do anything about it. If she interferes right now... the star might go out of control and and turn into something far worse.

The odds of that happening are extremely low but not zero. The goddess couldn't believe she would be cornered to such an extent by a mere mortal.

Zero was forming the star. He could do it because he completed the Sun Creation quest multiple times before, he knew how a star operated.

After a little time the green sphere flew up high in the air.

"Did he fail..?" The goddess didn't understand this phenomenon. Whenever she tried to create a star, she would succeed but the star would be incomplete and either explode or die in a short amount of time.

She thought he had failed and that's why he threw away the failed star before it exploded.

The moment she prepared to attack Zero... a very bright green light lit up the entire world. All of the clouds were absorbed by the green light.

The surface of her world was becoming hotter and hotter.

A halo was slowly forming above Zeros head. As it formed, the green light became brighter and larger.

Once the halo was fully formed, the green light died down for a second, and then engulfed the entire world.

"Congratulations to the god-..."

"Recalculating..."

"FAILED"

"FAILED"

"FAILED"

.

.

.

"Recalculating... Solution found."

"Congratulations to the individual 'Zero' for creating his first Star!"

"Impossible Achievement 'Star Creation quest'... Complete!"

"Individual 'Zero' will receive a special reward for completing an 'Impossible Achievement'."

"Calculating...

FAILURE"

"Individual deemed unqualified for the reward... Individual hasn't reached the realm of gods."

"Solution found. Individual will exchange [Status Screen] for Universal Tier Ability [Universe System]"

"Awaiting individuals confirmation..."

"Voice of the universe..?" The goddess was shocked. The voice of the universe would only speak when a new God was born or if an existing God made an impossible deed.

This guy just triggered the voice of the universe! Not only that... he has created a star without even being a God!

"Not enough." Zero answered the voice in his head. He didn't know what that universe system is, but he didn't want it. He wanted to destroy the world of this goddess.

...

"Analysing... individuals pet "Coal" will be resurrected as an additional reward."

Zero bit his lips, he couldn't believe it that a life is barely a secondary reward in the face of this voice... "Accept!"

"Individual has confirmed the appropriate reward. Processing... Finished."

"Individual has trespassed into the realm of gods and achieved an Impossible deed. Reward deemed insufficient. Additional reward 'God's seed' issued."

"Reward status: Satisfactory."

Zero felt something leaving his body... and then a great power burst into his body.

This was the exchange he agreed on. [Status Screen] to [Universe System].

The halo dissappeared in pair with the sun he created. This was the real deal, he had to give up on the halo and the star because he hasn't reached the realm of gods yet.

If he were to keep the halo and receive energy from his star, he would die almost instantly. His body can't handle that kind of power yet.

The only reason why he was able to create a star is because of the goddesses divine power stored in his scythe. This scythe must be a Divine Artifact at the very least.

A dim light formed around Coal, and all his wounds were healing. He slowly opened his eyes and saw that human was here... facing off against the goddess.

Did he come for him? So he didn't abandon him in the end huh?

Coal shed a tear.
