I Have 10,000 SSS Rank Villains In My System Space

Chapter 107: Cry Bbout It

"Fhewwww... I'm not going down without messing this bastard up," Razeal muttered, breath ragged as his body knit itself back together.

Veins re-aligned. Flesh bubbled back into place. The bleeding slowed.

At least I'm not dying this time, he thought, pressing his back against the thick ice pillar that had slammed into the ground just moments before. The thing was taller than a giant truck and wide enough to block out the sky. Razeal had dodged.. barely. A second slower and he'd be a red smear.

He glanced up from behind the frozen barrier. Glaciermight stood a good hundred meters away, arms crossed, frost coiling around his body like smoke. That smug fucker hadn't even moved after launching that attack.

"That thing is really not taking me seriously... Damn oversized snowball."

He's clearly playing with me.

Razeal rubbed his chin, calculating. The air was thin and sharp. His boots slid slightly as he shifted weight.

This surface... slippery as hell. But ground is smooth and featureless. No traction. No grip. Running would be suicide. He'd fall on his ass before he made it halfway to Glaciermight.

"I need to be faster," he muttered, eyes locked on the enemy. "Faster than him. But my feet are already maxed out. And this damn terrain…"

He tested the ice with his boot, scraping it slightly. Zero friction. It was like trying to sprint on polished glass.

"I wish I had wings," he muttered, sighing. "Or could fly."

The thought barely passed through his mind before something clicked.

Wait.

Why the hell do I even need to run?

His eyes widened.

A grin cracked across his face.

He didn't waste time thinking it through. The shadow beneath his feet twitched, responding before he even consciously willed it. It spread outward, stretching unnaturally, flickering like liquid flame.

It was like moving a part of his own body.

Controlling shadow felt... natural. Its almost like extension of his own self.

"Let's ride," he smirked. "Shadow affinity might suck up my mana, but this is system space so who cares."

The shadow warped upward, solidifying into a flat, wide platform just centimeters above the ice. A dark hoverboard. Its edges rippled like oil under moonlight. He stepped onto it, his balance instinctively adjusting.

It floated without sound, without resistance.

No wheels. No friction. Just movement.

Honestly It felt like standing on a cloud.

Razeal crouched slightly and nodded to himself. "Okay... let's see what kind of speed this bad boy got."

He shifted forward. The board responded instantly. No startup lag. No need for momentum. Just pure acceleration.

He jerked backward as the force slammed into him pure inertia. Wind clawed at his face, numbing his skin almost instantly. His eyes watered from the cold as the board rocketed forward.

40 km/h.

No traction needed.

No delay.

Just movement over the void.

He curved around the edge of the ice pillar he'd been hiding behind, now racing into the open.

Then he saw it Glaciermight, still watching. Still unmoved. The moment Razeal came into view, the creature opened its jaw again and...

"Oh, for fuck's sake" Razeal spat.

A monstrous, jagged ice pillar fired straight toward him like a freight train launched from a cannon.

"Let's gooooooo!"

He leaned left.

The board veered instantly.

The massive ice column slammed into the ground behind him with a deafening KRRAAAAKK, sending up a cloud of sharp mist and shattered ice.

He was gone before it landed.

Razeal's board streaked across the ice like a bolt of black lightning. His half ripped underwear whipped violently behind him as he adjusted posture, crouching low to reduce drag.

"Damn... this is fast."

He couldn't even hear his own voice over the wind anymore.

50 km/h.

60 km/h.

70 km/h.

The board didn't care about terrain. The ice could be cracked, sloped, bumps, or resistance. It glided like a ghost. Also the connection between him and the shadow felt symbiotic. Like it wanted to move. Like it shared his intent.

He steadied his breathing, heart pounding with adrenaline and cold.

"I could get used to this."

But speed came at a cost. The faster he moved, the harder it became to balance. Air resistance was starting to become a problem. He was practically flying, and there was nothing to hold onto. Balancing on the board was becoming harder with each passing second.

The wind pushed against him like a solid wall literally.

He leaned into it, dropping his shoulders and tucking his body tighter. Less drag. More control.

The wind screamed past his ears.

The speed it was getting faster by the second.

All because of one command:

"Go as fast as you can."

Razeal squinted as the freezing wind battered his face, his hair whipping behind him like loose wires. The cold had turned his eyebrows white, and his skin was starting to go numb.

And the shadow beneath him obeyed. With no hesitation. No limit. No brakes.

"System…" Razeal's voice shook, eyes barely open against the wind pressure, fluttering like torn flags. "Just how fast can this thing get?"

[As fast as the mana you can provide... and as much as your body can handle,]

the System responded, tone cold and matter-of-fact.

Then it added something worse.

[Currently consuming 8,062 MP per second. And rising.]

Razeal blinked. He heard it all. But only one thought exploded in his brain.

"WHAT THE FUCK?! That's insane!"

He shouted into the wind.

"Do you even realize a typical D-ranked person's total mana is supposed to be? ONE THOUSAND!"

The numbers were so ridiculous, they almost made him cry if he wasn't seconds away from becoming a human smear on the ice.

80 km/h.

90 km/h.

The acceleration never stopped.

"If I fall at this speed…" he muttered, shielding his face against the ice wind, which now felt like razors across his cheeks.

"...one sharp stick in the wrong spot and I'm a dead man."

And it wasn't just the cold.

Inertia.

Momentum.

His own body was seconds away from betraying him.

Even worse?

He couldn't even turn.

At this speed, even a slight shift would launch him sideways like a ragdoll, bones first. But just as this thought crossed his mind..

THUDDDDDDD.

A massive ice pillar crashed into the ground just meters ahead.

Towering. 24 feet tall. Nearly 15 feet wide.

Another followed. Then another.

THUD. THUD. THUD.

Glaciermight had spotted him.

That big dumb polar bear beast actually had a brain. If it couldn't hit the target directly, it would just target the road ahead.

Cut off the path. Box him in. Crush him in motion.

Razeal's stomach twisted.

"This is gonna be embarrassing now…" he muttered, hands clapping together instinctively. He could already see it in his mind smashing into the pillar face-first like a goddamn idiot.

And there was no way to steer.

100 kilometers per hour.

No brakes. No control. No escape.

The ice pillar rushed closer. A godam wall.

Razeal tensed bracing himself for face snapping impact..

But it never came.

Instead

The shadow slid straight up the ice.

Vertically.

No slowdown.

No friction.

No physics.

Like it was a literal ghost gliding across reality.

"What the…?" Razeal whispered.

The shadow climbed the ice wall like it was nothing. Smooth. Seamless. Speed intact. It didn't give a fuck about gravity.

Because gravity didn't apply to it. Its a fucking shadow.

Razeal's jaw dropped.

"Wait.. it can climb walls too?!"

It was amazing. For two full seconds.

Then he realized something important.

The shadow may not obey physics.

But his body definitely did.

The moment the board shifted direction, his momentum stayed the same. His body started to lurch backward.

Weight. Inertia. Gravity.

They all came crashing back at same time.

"Shit.."

He was going to fall off.

But then

His instincts kicked in.

Without thinking, he reached for his shadow. The black shape beneath him responded instantly. It expanded, reshaping beneath his feet, morphing mid-flight.

In a split second, it formed into a chair-like construct. Small tendrils extended from the sides, wrapping around his legs, his waist, even his chest.

They gripped him tight.. not painfully, but firmly. Just enough to keep him locked in.

His body stabilized.

The fall stopped.

And now

Razeal was sitting on his own shadow, flying vertically up a 90-degree ice pillar at over 100 km/h.

"WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!" he shouted, wind blasting into his face, laughter mixing with adrenaline.

"THIS IS SO DOPE!!"

The ride was smooth. Seamless. No vibration. No drag.

He scaled the massive pillar like it was nothing. Hit the top. Dipped over.

Then descended the other side

Still fast.

Still rising in speed.

Still controlled.

And just like that, he repeated the same maneuver on the next pillar.

Up.

Over.

Down.

Like he was skiing on skyscrapers made of ice.

There was no friction. No resistance. Just raw speed and momentum.

The Glaciermight watched him from afar, clearly dumbstruck.

Maybe.. just maybe if it had any real intelligence, it would've said:

"What the fuck is this shit?"

But it wasn't smart. It was just a dumb, oversized bastard, frozen in place like an idiot statue.

Meanwhile, Razeal blazing toward it at breakneck speed on his custom-built shadowboard was grinning like a lunatic.

130 km/h.

Just 50 meters away now.

And yes he was sitting on what looked like a shadow-formed chair in an half-ripped pair of underwear, half-covered in ice, flying through sub-zero winds like it was the most normal thing in the universe.

"This is gonna work just fine" he muttered, voice barely audible over the roaring wind.

His lips fluttered violently from the pressure, but the wind... the wind was strong.

"Also with this speed, with this momentum flow... I can cut this bastard to pieces!"

Razeal slowly began to rise.

The shadow-seat beneath him responded, tentacles that had previously wrapped around his stomach and chest now uncoiling.

Instead, two thick, pipe-like pillars of shadow formed along bshind his legs supporting his thighs and waist like a dense exosuit. From there, new tendrils spiraled tightly around his limbs, locking him in a secure upright stance on the shadowboard.

Now standing fully upright, he looked like a silhouette in motion. The swirling black shadow against the ice wasteland made him look like a dark specter.

"System," he barked, "sword."

A sword materialized in his right hand instantly long matte black steel with a slight sharpness across its edge.

Razeal tightened his grip.

He started channeling.

He concentrated every ounce of movement flow, every beat of the speed, every vibration from the board beneath his feet. He focused it all into the blade guiding the flow into it.

It was a trick he'd learned during those endless hours fighting Skulltrites. Let your momentum become your strike.

He'd done this before, back in the Skulltrite battles. But never at this speed.

Still, it felt natural. Right.

The Glaciermight stood still, unmoving.

Its frost-colored eyes tracked him with a quiet, primal stare. Almost like it was curious. Intrigued by the tiny insect daring to charge it.

140 km/h.

20 meters away.

146 km/h.

10 meters.

Razeal smirked.

He drew his sword back, ready to release everything in a single, devastating slash. His target: the front of the monster's left ankle. Bring the giant down.

But then

[Warning: Shadow support pillars will collapse in 2 seconds.]

[The force being applied by air pressure exceeds your shadow affinity's stabilization capacity. Your mana pool, though infinite, cannot sustain structural integrity under this wind resistance any longer. Shadow supports will break]

Razeal absorbed the message in a flash.

Terrible timing.

He didn't even have a second to curse properly.

He was already clocking in at 150 km/h.

The Glaciermight's massive leg more like a tower was just 5 meters ahead.

No way to stop. No way to slow down.

If the shadow pillars shattered now, the air pressure alone would yank him backward like a broken doll, send him spiraling off-course, sword flailing, strike ruined.

He'd either crash… or just revive loosing this operatunity.

His thoughts raced, but instinct took over.

Don't resist. Flip it. Use the fall. Use inertia.

And right then he made his move.

With a single, silent command, he deactivated the hoverboard under his feet. Not before taking a jump ofcourse.

It vanished.

The instant it did, his body rocketed forward, flung by the sudden release of built-up speed. Every atom of inertia that had been held back by the hoverboard's force dampeners now launched him like a bullet. Air howled in his ears. His spine burned. His flow surged wildly through him like electricity through a cracked cable.

No control now.

Just speed. Just violence one shot.

He didn't even try to stabilize.

Didn't bother adjusting his body or refining his grip on the sword.

He embraced it. All of it.

The Glaciermight still hadn't moved. Its frost-colored eyes blinked slowly, as if realizing too late what was about to hit it.

"Take 150 kilometers of inertia, bitch!" Razeal bellowed, voice ragged, wind-shredded, but defiant as hell.

The sword black, humming, charged with raw flow rose into position.

And then..

SLASH-----

The blade screamed through the air with a clean, almost whisper-like swish.

Then came the fall.

Razeal's body shot past the Glaciermight like a high-speed bullet, sword-arm fully extended from the force of his slash. The follow-through was too fast to control. He didn't just land he crashed.

THUD!

He slammed into the ice thirty meters away, bouncing once then skidding.

His body raked across the frozen surface at breakneck speed, friction tearing into his skin. Flesh tore open. Blood smeared behind him like red ink on a glass canvas. His right side was almost completely flayed from the grind of ice.

He finally came to a stop.

Naked.

Literally.

Even the remnants of his frost-bitten underwear had been obliterated from the sheer friction.

But despite the blood pouring from half his body he was grinning like a idiot.

Lying on the cold ground, chest heaving, eyes squinting into the bright white sky, Razeal held up the sword hilt still clutched in his hand.

The blade was gone.

Shattered.

Splintered into a million tiny fragments during the final strike.

But he chuckled anyway.

"Check your leg, bitch," Razeal coughed, laughing through cracked lips. Blood spilled between his teeth.

Behind him, the Glaciermight had remained motionless. At least for a few seconds.

Then it twitched.

Its head turned.

Its body stiffened.

And then

FLOOOSH!

A geyser of dark hor red liquid erupted from its lower leg.

The monster's ankle that massive pillar of frozen muscle and reinforced bone had been severed clean through. The cut was surgical, unnaturally clean, as if someone had taken a scalpel to a glacier Even hairs around the body were cut off perfectly.

The beast swayed.

A faint trail of mist curled from the wound where icy flesh met open air. Blood and steam poured together, sizzling on the ice floor.

Even the ice beneath it bore the mark a single, razor-thin line cut deep into the glacier floor. Barely visible. But real. A 1,700 year ice.

The delayed pain finally hit.

"ARRRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

The scream shook the world.

The roar was so loud it cracked nearby ice pillars and nearly blew out Razeal's eardrums. He covered his ears too late. Blood poured from them.

Razeal winced, covering his head with his arms as the sonic pressure washed over him.

"Ugh Shit, that scream could crack mountains...!" It wasn't that it was painful but.. very irritating for him.

The beast reeled backward. Its massive arms swung out in agony, one of them slamming into the ice with enough force to send fissures spidering across the surface.

Its balance broke.

It staggered.

And began to fall.

A slow, heavy topple.

Like a skyscraper collapsing.

BOOOOOOM!

The entire landscape trembled from the weight of its fall.

Chunks of ice launched skyward. A shockwave blasted across the flatlands, nearly flipping Razeal onto his back again.

Still bleeding and fully naked, he forced himself up on one knee.

Grit in his voice.

"Yeah... cry about it."

He coughed again.

Wiping blood from his mouth as His lips curled.

"Worth it
