I Have A Talent Of Creation

Chapter 5: 5

After a few minutes, Ethan stood up and headed to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for himself and Olivia. He gathered the utensils, lit the stove, and began cooking.

While he was cooking, Olivia, still sleepy, entered the kitchen, yawning, and said, "Good morning, brother."

Ethan replied with a smile and affection, "Good morning, Olivia. Wash your face and sit down; breakfast will be ready in seconds."

Olivia smiled and went to wash up, then sat on the chair. Ethan finished preparing breakfast and placed the plate in front of her, smiling warmly.

Olivia smiled and thanked him, then said playfully, "I was supposed to be the one making food for you."

Ethan replied with a tone of mock arrogance, raising his chin, "Well, what can I do if I'm such a good brother that I take care of you even when I'm injured?"

The two looked at each other with amused expressions and laughed lightly. They sat down and ate their breakfast together. After finishing, they showered, changed their clothes, and left the house together to go to school.

Their school wasn't far; it was in the neighboring area, so they walked there, chatting and joking along the way. They soon arrived at the school and parted ways to go to their respective classes.

Ethan went to his classroom and noticed students in the hallway looking at him with admiration, praise, and even some envy from the male students. When he entered the classroom, everyone fell silent, their eyes shining with admiration. Ethan wondered why but continued to his seat and sat down. After a few seconds of silence, the whispering began to grow, and students started pointing at him.

Moments later, two students approached him—none other than his close friends, Eric and Michael. Michael spoke with a teasing tone, "How are you, hero? Tell us, did you get injured while defending the princess?" The two laughed.

Then Eric chimed in, laughing, "They said you were in a coma for three days and wouldn't wake up anytime soon. But look at you now, alive and well, and it seems you've even become more handsome."

Ethan smiled and said proudly, "Hmph, just some scum trying to flatter the heavens. You'll need to put in more effort to impress me." The three of them looked at each other and burst into laughter without any warning.

Then Michael said seriously, "Tell us, what really happened?"

Ethan narrated the story to them, and their expressions turned focused. Even some nearby students started listening intently so they wouldn't miss any part. After he finished, Michael said, "Seriously, my friend, how did you survive them? You really surprise me."

Ethan ignored the question and said, "Believe it or not, that's what happened."

After confirming his well-being, they drifted into another topic about studies. Eric asked, "So, Ethan, what's your plan for the final exams? There's not much time left until then."

Michael added, "We have a test today. I want to see the results of my hard work over the past few weeks."

Ethan had forgotten about the exam due to the events of the past few days, but he replied, "I've studied hard. I expect to do well in this exam. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll go review. There's not much time left before the exam."

Ethan took his book and left the classroom. He went to the courtyard and sat on a chair away from prying eyes.

"Alright, I feel like my memory and mental strength have increased in the past few days. Let's see how far I've come."

Ethan opened the book and looked at the first page. In a single glance, he was able to memorize its entire content as if he had copied it. Ethan was surprised by the speed of his memorization. He expected it to improve, but not to this extent. He asked the system about the reason.

[Sir, your spirit attributes have increased your speed of comprehension and memorization. After all, you've surpassed the limits of an ordinary human by several times.]

Ethan smiled and returned to reading. He flipped through the pages at an insane speed, finishing the book in fifteen minutes. He noticed that he hadn't just memorized the book's content but also understood it to the point where he could deduce many things beyond the curriculum. Topics that were previously vague became as clear as day.

Ethan smiled and decided to read the rest of his subjects in his free time. He took out another book from his bag and began reading. One book after another, he finished all his study materials in half an hour. He put the books back in his bag and lay down on the chair, gazing at the sky. He wanted to relive the enjoyable experience of flying but was cautious not to be discovered by anyone. He added "invisibility" to the list of things he wanted to create later.

After half an hour, the bell rang for class. Ethan returned and sat in his seat. A few minutes later, the math teacher entered. Everyone sat in their places, and the teacher, looking at Ethan, said, "What you did was amazing, Ethan. As your teacher, I'm proud of you, but you need to be more careful next time so you don't get hurt."

Ethan smiled and replied, "Thank you, sir. I appreciate your advice."

The teacher nodded with a smile and then addressed the rest of the class, "Alright, the final exams are approaching, and there's not much time left. I urge you to put in more effort during this period, as it will determine the course of your lives. I have a simple test for you to identify your mistakes and correct them later."

The teacher distributed the test papers, and the exam officially began. Ethan looked at the questions, which seemed simple to him, and began solving them without stopping or making a single mistake.

After half an hour, Ethan finished answering the test but decided to wait a bit longer before submitting it. After a full hour, he stood up, handed in his paper, and left. The teacher looked at his answers and was shocked by their accuracy and the flexibility of his solutions. They resembled the standard answers from the curriculum, and some questions were even solved in simpler ways than the textbook's methods. The teacher stared at the paper in disbelief, unsure how Ethan had managed to do this despite the difficulty of the questions.

In the hallway, Ethan walked toward the courtyard to rest while waiting for the exam to end. After a few minutes, he arrived and sat on a chair, closing his eyes.

As he relaxed, he heard the sound of crying, pleading, and hysterical laughter. With his heightened senses, he pinpointed the source of the noise in a secluded corner of the courtyard. He approached quietly and saw a weak boy being beaten and kicked by three large boys, while a girl cried and begged them to stop. Her pleas were drowned out by the loud laughter of the bullies. A boy who seemed to be their leader watched with a smile and said, "Stop kicking him." He approached the weak boy and continued, "Didn't I tell you not to talk to the teachers about our business? This is the price of your stupidity."

The weak boy, covered in bruises and holding his stomach, looked at him with sharp eyes and said in a barely audible voice, "f**k you," raising his middle finger.

The leader, enraged, kicked him hard in the stomach and then turned his attention to the girl. With a voice full of anger and a faint laugh, he said, "boys, sit him down and hold him tight. Let him watch the consequences of challenging me."

The bullies did as they were told, and the weak boy watched as the leader approached his girlfriend, laughing maliciously. The girl trembled, and the boy understood what he intended to do. He shouted in anger and pleaded, "Stop! She has nothing to do with this! Please, stop!"

But the leader ignored his pleas and continued toward the girl. He grabbed both her arms with one hand, pinned them against the wall, and moved his other hand toward her chest. The girl watched helplessly, trembling and crying profusely as his hand approached.

Suddenly, his hand stopped in place as another hand gripped his wrist. A cold, terrifying voice questioned him, "What do you think you're doing?"
