"I Reincarnated in Boku no Hero but They Forgot to Give Me a System"

Chapter 25: Chapter 25 — Laying the Foundation for the Future

Chapter 25 — Laying the Foundation for the Future

Three months had passed since Aoi Todoroki began construction on his company's headquarters — a symbol of vision, strategy, and responsibility, standing as proof that determination backed by action could take form in the real world.

From the beginning, Aoi had remembered an important detail from the anime timeline:

In the future, Ochako Uraraka would join U.A. not just because she wanted to be a hero, but because her family needed money. At its core, her dream wasn't just ambition — it was survival.

He figured that even now, still just kids, her family was likely already facing financial pressure. That single realization stuck with him more than he expected.

And it gave him an idea.

While reviewing the digital blueprint of the company building on his tablet, Aoi paused. He tapped the screen once to lock it, set the device down, and picked up his phone.

Without hesitation.

— "Ochako?"

— "Hi, Aoi!" she answered with cheerful energy, though there was still a hint of shyness in her tone.

— "Your dad works in construction, right?"

— "Yeah! Why do you ask?"

— "Could you give me his number? I want to hire him to help with my project."

There was a moment of silence. Aoi could almost hear her blink in surprise.

— "Wait… are you serious?"

— "Dead serious. He'll get a proper salary. Maybe it'll help ease things a bit for your family. I want to help where I can."

The next silence wasn't awkward — it was thoughtful. It was the kind that came when someone was truly touched.

— "Aoi… thank you. Really. I mean that. I don't even know what to say."

The following morning, Mr. Uraraka showed up at the construction site with several members of his crew. Their tools and equipment were modest — nothing flashy or high-tech — but their work ethic was clear from the start. They worked with focus, precision, and pride in what they built.

Aoi was there every day. He wasn't just a name behind the project. He walked the site with architects, stood beside engineers during inspections, reviewed blueprints, and made sure safety protocols were followed without compromise. People quickly understood he wasn't just another rich kid playing at business — he was serious.

Even with the growing complexity of the project, Aoi never abandoned his personal routine.

His schedule remained locked in:

— Intense physical training in the morning to push his limits.

— Afternoons spent managing logistics and attending site meetings.

— Evenings reserved for coding, studying tech, improving his skills — and of course, regular video calls with Mina and Ochako that helped him decompress.

It was intense. Demanding. But he didn't flinch. He believed in what he was building.

And his siblings noticed.

Fuyumi, inspired by his discipline and commitment, began studying business management with more focus. She wanted to be ready to help when the time came — not just emotionally, but professionally.

Natsuo, who had drifted between hobbies and interests with no clear goal, found himself hooked on branding, design, and digital marketing. He downloaded design software, signed up for online classes, and started thinking of how he could shape the image of their future company.

Even Shoto — despite being under Endeavor's relentless training — managed to stop by occasionally. He didn't say much, just observed. Sometimes he asked practical questions. Other times, he just stood beside Aoi, quietly taking it all in.

Then, after three months of planning, building, sweat, and long nights...

The building was finished.

It wasn't just steel and glass. It was a statement. A visible commitment to the idea that intelligence and heart could create real change.

The tower stood tall in the center of Musutafu's growing tech district. Its exterior was sleek and reflective, blending modern aesthetics with a functional layout. It wasn't overly luxurious — Aoi had made sure of that. It was meant to feel grounded and future-focused.

At the very top, gleaming in the afternoon sun, the company's name was displayed in bold silver letters:

Todoroki Tech

Aoi stood in front of the finished building with his family: Rei, Fuyumi, Natsuo, and Shoto. He wore a plain black dress shirt and jeans. Not flashy — just enough. His posture was calm, steady, like someone who had already moved on to the next step.

— "So..." he said, finally breaking the silence with a small smile, "this is our base."

Fuyumi looked up at the building in awe, her eyes wide.

— "You actually did it, Aoi…"

He glanced at her and gave a nod.

— "I didn't do it alone. You've all been part of this since the beginning. And once you're older, I'm going to need your help running it."

Natsuo smirked and crossed his arms.

— "You really think I'm cut out for a place like this?"

— "Of course," Aoi said without missing a beat. "You're my family. And not everything gets solved with strength. Some problems need a team."

Shoto stepped forward silently and stood beside his older brother. As usual, he didn't speak, but his quiet presence was enough.

Rei, standing a little apart from them, watched everything unfold.

— "You're... growing up, Aoi," she said quietly, her tone even and composed.

Aoi turned toward her with a calm, honest gaze.

— "It's nice to hear that," he replied. "I'm just working hard so I can support our family — and maybe help a few others too."

A gentle breeze passed through, rustling their clothes and brushing against the polished steps of the building. The mirrored surface of the tower reflected the sky, casting a soft glow over the group.

Aoi took one last look at the building. He knew it had come together fast thanks to quirks — but that didn't make it any less real. This was just the first part of the bigger plan.

He turned back to his family.

— "Now that it's finished... how about we celebrate?"

Rei smiled.

— "We should. My son deserves it."

Fuyumi nodded.

— "The company's up and running. That's reason enough."

Natsuo raised his hand.

— "How about Korean barbecue?"

Shoto cut in calmly.

— "A traditional Japanese restaurant would be better."

Aoi chuckled, watching them argue over the celebration spot. For now, that was enough.

Things were finally falling into place.
