It's Been over a month since me and my Dad moved here and in the same duration he had changed, no more was the loving father that always had a bright smile on his face when talking to me, all that was there was cold man that looked broken, i wished on everything and prayed to The Supreme Ruler, not asking for my loving father to return but for him to be happy... that was all i asked for but my prayers were not answered.

In walked Gideon with a smile on his face.

Gideon Ellandor " Good Afternoon Dad " Gideon greeted brightly.

Gideon Ellandor " Dad i want to ask for permission to go out and play with my friends. " He asked with a smile on his face.

Elion Ellandor " You can go. " he replied with his eyes still not leaving the reports.

Gideon Ellandor " Thanks Dad " He replied happily and turned to walk out, as he was about to grab the door's handle he was interrupted by his father's voice.

Elion Ellandor " ... Gideon " he said as glanced at the back of his son briefly before turning away.

Gideon Ellandor " Yes Dad? " He turned and looked at his father.

Elion Ellandor " I'll be returning to the front lines within a week " Giving him a brief glance again before removing his gaze.

Gideon Ellandor " Oh.... when will you return? " He asked weakly as his face gradually lost his smile.

Elion Ellandor " I would be back at least a week before your Awakening " He answered still focus on the result.

Gideon Ellandor ' So Six (6) Years..... ' " Okay " He replied before he turned around and left his father's office.

Elion Ellandor *Sigh* ' Gideon i promise you, I'll make sure you get better ' He thought with determination before placing his palm over his face before he leaned back on his chair

Gideon Ellandor ' Dad is leaving? no! i shouldn't feel sad, Dad is not leaving me, i'm sure whatever he is going to do in the Front lines is important, i should pray for his safe return... Yes that what i should do. ' These were my thought as i reached the transparent barrier of our house which opened in the shape of a door and i walked out.

I walked for about Eight (8) minutes till i got to barrier of our neighbor, the barrier opened immediately as i got near, i walked in without stopping till i got to the front poach, the is just about the same size as ours, well the other one was as well, that's right there're only three houses in this neighborhood.

As i reached the door step and was about to knock on the door, But it was opened by a cute girl my age.

Gideon Ellandor " Hi Aria, is Avery already here? " I asked as the girl named Aria let me in.

Aria Valtora " Yeah he got here over twenty (20) minutes ago and started playing without you Hehe " She said with a cute smile as she walked beside be with both hee hands linked behind her back.

Aria Valtoria, She moved here over a year ago from South Africa with her parents they are both Demi Gods, they left just two months ago for the Front lines, they were told the Invictus Empire found us again and the front lines wanted reinforcements. She has been living alone for two months and since her parent were friends with Avery's mother they asked her to look after their daughter, they called once every week to check of her.

We talked as we walked toward her game room and when we got there, there was a guy lying on the couch with a gaming headset on his head, he laid motionlessly as if he was sleeping.

[A/n: Alright guys sorry for no uploads for the past few days. Been Busy working, all my muscles hurt..... I really need to hit the gym.
