I Took A Succubus's First Time

Chapter 129: Feigning Ignorance

A dense mass of darkness swirled in Hina's palm, shifting and pulsating like a living entity, absorbing the very light around it. The sheer pressure of the magic she was harnessing made the air heavy, almost suffocating. The ground beneath her cracked subtly as raw power radiated from her form, the dark energy coiling and expanding, forming a dense, pulsing sphere—so black it seemed to swallow reality itself.

Then, with a sharp flick of her wrist, she hurled it forward.

The moment the dark sphere struck its target, it detonated. A surge of darkness erupted, bursting outward like a massive, expanding void. The force sent a shockwave through the area, displacing dust and debris, while tendrils of shadow lashed out hungrily as if seeking to consume everything in their path. The explosion roared, deep and guttural, the kind of sound that reverberated in your chest, making the air itself tremble.

Yet, just before the swirling abyss could reach her, it halted. The sheer force of the impact sent waves of pressure through the space, whipping her silver hair back, strands dancing wildly in the aftermath of her unleashed power.

A slow smirk curled on her lips as she lowered her hand, flexing her fingers as if still feeling the echoes of the power she had just unleashed.

"My power… it's definitely increased. Twofold," she murmured, voice thick with satisfaction. She could feel it—her magic wasn't just stronger; it was more efficient. The mana cost was significantly lower than what she normally spent on a spell of that magnitude.

"It really did increase," Shizue mumbled, her voice laced with disbelief as her sharp eyes remained glued to the monitor, the flickering display reflecting in her oil-streaked goggles. The readings didn't lie. The numbers on the screen were overwhelming.

This wasn't just an upgrade—this was a breakthrough.

She hadn't expected this. Not in the slightest. But now, staring at the undeniable proof, she had no choice but to accept it.

Kouhei wasn't just some anomaly.

He was the real deal.

The Child of Anti-Prophecy.

Yuuna's crimson eyes stayed fixed on the monitor, the raw numbers alone enough to make her breath hitch. The difference in power was insane. Even without the data, just standing here, feeling the residual energy in the air, was enough to tell her that Hina's strength had skyrocketed.

It was like standing next to a ticking bomb—dangerous, unstable, ready to obliterate anything in its radius.

'If all of us can reach this level before the Faction War… then…'

The thought barely had time to form before Yuuna clenched her jaw, shaking her head hard enough to snap herself out of it.

No.

This was exactly what Kouhei hated—being used. Being seen as a tool.

Yuuna exhaled slowly, forcing down the bitter taste of that realization. She didn't want Kouhei to look at her and see someone manipulating him.

But at the same time…

If Kouhei forged deep enough bonds with all of the Yuuna faction's members—if he truly won their hearts—then maybe they could all receive the same power boost through Love Link.

No…

Even thinking like this was dangerous. It was the same thing as before.

'I should just be happy with what we've already achieved,' she told herself, fingers tightening at her sides.

Still… if Kouhei could manage to pull off a Connective Love Link with four women at once…

That kind of power boost would be a game-changer.

Connective Love Link was already stronger than the standard version. Normally, a Love Link doubled the power of the bonded partner, but with Connective Love Link? It could triple it.

The problem was that Kouhei and the others had only managed it once.

Yuuna had a strong feeling that a three-woman Connective Love Link was definitely possible. But with four? That was a whole different level.

That was a lot of plates for Kouhei to handle. Even for him, the logistics were insane.

She already knew it would be pushing him past his limits—pleasuring four women at the same time, making sure all of them reached their climax together, while also timing his own release with theirs…

Even for him, the chances of pulling that off were extremely low. Even with his absurd stamina, the odds of pulling that off…

Were nearly impossible.

However, they could still pull off a three-woman Connective Love Link. If two women's powers could be boosted threefold, Yuuna was sure they could give the Souichiro Faction a serious run for their money.

Meanwhile, somewhere in the heart of the city, neon lights flickered outside a dimly lit karaoke room, where a lively atmosphere buzzed with voices, the rhythmic pulse of music, and the occasional burst of laughter. The scent of sweet soda mixed in the air, and the faint hum of an overworked air conditioner did little to cool the rising heat in the enclosed space.

Himeno Yui sat among the crowd. She had been invited by a group of classmates—both boys and girls—and, without giving it much thought, she had accepted.

Now, while the others were caught up in their fun, singing and chatting animatedly, Yui sat back, lazily sipping her juice, a soft, unreadable smile playing on her lips.

Her mere presence irritated Watanabe and the other girls beside her. Their eyes locked onto Yui, sharp with annoyance, barely masking their growing resentment.

Watanabe hadn't invited her for fun.

No, she had plans for Yui—plans that weren't anything pleasant.

For the past few days, she had watched Yui grow closer to the boys, acting all cute and flirtatious, drawing their attention like moths to a flame. Every teasing glance, every coy giggle only fueled Watanabe's seething anger. It was maddening. The way Yui played so effortlessly with them—like it was natural for her—set her blood boiling.

Wrath.

Jealousy.

The emotions churned in her chest, dark and ugly, consuming her inch by inch.

She was losing.

Yui was corrupting her. Twisting her heart. The more she hated her, the more Yui's influence seeped in, tainting her with something she couldn't even begin to comprehend.

And it wasn't just Watanabe.

The boys—laughing, drinking, and pretending to be caught up in the music—were stealing glances at Yui too. Their eyes flickered toward her, drawn in by something unseen, something deeper than just simple attraction.

It was lust.

Creeping into their minds, curling around their thoughts, poisoning them.

Yui was in no hurry. She was taking her time, letting the corruption seep in at its own pace.

A slow, sweet infection.

And when she was ready to harvest what she had sown…

It would be deliciously ripe.

Her gaze flickered across the room, watching, waiting—her smile never wavering as their hearts burned, consumed by the sins she had planted.

Finally, the perfect moment arrived.

The boys had left—one by one—stepping out of the karaoke room, stretching, yawning, saying their goodbyes.

It was late.

The week had drained them, and with the weekend ahead, most of them were eager to just head home and unwind.

That left only the girls.

And that was when Watanabe struck.

She and her friends moved in, cutting off Yui's escape.

She had nowhere to run now.

No more witnesses.

No teachers.

No one was coming to save her.

"You certainly look very sweet to the boys today, Himeno-san. What, you're not even trying to be discreet with your little seductions anymore? Just going all out now, huh?"

Watanabe's voice dripped with venom, one hand resting firmly on her hip as she stood in front of Yui. She was trying to appear as intimidating as possible, her glare sharp, her stance unyielding.

Behind her, the other girls had positioned themselves by the door, blocking any chance of escape. There was no way in or out.

Yui, however, simply blinked at her, tilting her head ever so slightly.

"I don't know what you're talking about, Watanabe-san. Seduction? What do you mean?" she asked, her tone light, almost playful. "Um, I don't recall doing anything of the sort… Have I?"

She spoke in such an innocent manner that, for a fleeting second, it might have sounded believable.

But Watanabe wasn't buying it.

Neither were the other girls, who scoffed openly at Yui's words.

"Tch. Don't play dumb," Watanabe snapped. "If you actually took a step back and looked at yourself, glueing yourself to the boys in our class like some desperate bitch in heat, then you'd get what I'm talking about. Hell, you'd probably be just as irritated as the rest of us. But I guess that would require self-awareness, huh? Either you're actually stupid enough not to notice, or you're just playing innocent on purpose."

Yui blinked again, her expression unreadable—yet that smile remained. A soft, gentle curve of her lips.

It wasn't a real smile.

It was something else.

She was feigning ignorance.

And Watanabe knew it.

"You really piss me off," Watanabe spat. "If you weren't such a shameless little slut—flirting with every boy in the class—I probably would've wanted to be friends with you. Back when you first transferred, I actually thought, hey, maybe she's not so bad."

Her fingers curled into a fist.

"But then immediately, you started clinging to Takahashi-senpai, batting your lashes at Okumura-senpai, throwing yourself at every guy. And just like that, any desire I had to befriend you? Gone."

Her glare sharpened, seething with pure hatred.

"Thrown right out the window."
