Chapter 33: Kokabiel - 5

The tension in the air was palpable. Kokabiel, standing high above the battlefield, wielded the newly merged Excalibur, its power radiating in blinding waves.

His eyes gleamed with an overwhelming sense of victory, as if the fight was already decided in his favor. The energy crackling around him signaled a devastating blow that could erase everything in its path.

"With this, I shall end everything," Kokabiel declared, raising the massive weapon high, his voice filled with arrogance and bloodlust.

But just as he prepared to unleash the full force of the weapon, something changed. The ground trembled slightly under an immense pressure.

A strange sensation surged through the air, as if the very atmosphere was being manipulated.

The Gremory team looked up in shock, sensing the sudden increase in power. Raizel stood tall, his eyes burning with an intensity that mirrored the flames of a raging storm.

His presence alone was enough to shift the tide of the battle, and the moment he began to move, it was clear—everything would change.

With a single motion, Raizel lifted the seal on his immense power. In an instant, a tremendous aura erupted around him, sending shockwaves across the battlefield.

The ground cracked beneath his feet as the sky seemed to darken in response. The pressure was so heavy that it felt like the weight of the world itself was pressing down upon them.

Rias, Akeno, Issei, and the others instinctively recoiled, feeling the overwhelming force of Raizel's presence.

Even Kokabiel, with his confidence, flinched slightly for the briefest of moments, sensing the unfathomable power radiating from him.

And then, the impossible happened.

From Raizel's back, massive wings of blood unfurled, their dark and ethereal beauty a testament to his ancient and fearsome nature.

The wings beat softly but powerfully, and in that moment, Raizel hovered in the air, his gaze locked onto Kokabiel. The sheer presence of his power was enough to put even the mightiest of foes on edge.

"Are you ready to face me, Kokabiel?" Raizel's voice was calm but resonated with such intensity that it made the very air vibrate. "You will regret underestimating this world and the people in it."

Kokabiel's eyes narrowed, his grip tightening on the merged Excalibur as he sneered. "You think you can stop me? You're just another obstacle to be crushed beneath my feet."

Others exchanged glances, their eyes filled with a mix of admiration and concern.

The power that Raizel displayed was nothing short of terrifying, but they trusted him completely.

"Raizel..." Akeno whispered, her voice filled with awe. "Can you really handle him?"

"Don't worry, Akeno," Raizel replied without taking his eyes off Kokabiel. "I have everything under control."

As Kokabiel prepared to launch a strike with his Excalibur, a flash of movement caught everyone off guard.

Xenovia, her eyes blazing with determination, saw the opening she had been waiting for. With a single, decisive motion, she drew Durandal, her holy sword, which was said to cut anything, and charged toward Kokabiel.

"Durandal!" Xenovia shouted, her sword glowing with radiant power.

She swung the sword with incredible speed and precision, aiming directly for the merged Excalibur. Her sword clashed against Kokabiel's, and the impact sent shockwaves through the air. But it wasn't just a clash of swords—it was the moment of reckoning.

The force of Durandal's strike shattered the merged Excalibur fragments into pieces, sending them scattering into the air.

Kokabiel's eyes widened in shock as his weapon was destroyed before him, the blade breaking apart in a flash of light. The explosion of energy left a stunned silence in its wake.

Kokabiel snarled, his anger now fully unleashed. His wings flared with intensity, and his body crackled with holy energy as he turned to face Xenovia. "You'll pay for that."

He lunged toward her, fury blazing in his eyes, but before he could land a blow, Raizel intercepted him with ease.

"Not so fast, Kokabiel," Raizel said, his voice calm as he raised his hand, effortlessly stopping the enraged fallen angel's attack.

His immense strength was enough to hold Kokabiel in place, the fallen angel's strikes nothing more than futile attempts against Raizel's power.

Kokabiel's face twisted with frustration as he tried to break free, but Raizel's grip remained unyielding. With a single motion, he flung Kokabiel back, sending him crashing into the ground with a resounding thud.

The force of the impact created a shockwave that shook the battlefield, but Raizel remained unfazed. His power, now fully unleashed, sway over the field as the remaining Gremory team members watched in awe.

Akeno, standing beside Raizel, gave him a subtle glance of appreciation. "I knew you could do it."

But the battle was far from over. Kokabiel, wasn't finished. He rose slowly, his wings spreading out to their full span. The rage in his eyes burned like a wildfire.

"You think you can defeat me that easily?" he snarled. "I will not be defeated by you, Raizel! I will make you pay!"

With the shattered pieces of Excalibur scattered around him, Kokabiel began to summon a new wave of energy, preparing for his next devastating attack.

---

As Raizel unleashed his immense power and confronted Kokabiel, the reactions from the others were a mixture of awe, respect, and anticipation.

Rias, standing nearby, couldn't help but feel a deep sense of pride as she watched Raizel take control of the situation. But, there was also a layer of worry—despite his overwhelming power, she knew that Kokabiel was a formidable opponent.

"Raizel... you truly are incredible," Rias whispered to herself, her fist clenched. She felt a surge of determination fill her as she watched Raizel.

Akeno, standing beside Rias, couldn't help but smile softly at Raizel's display of power. She knew that Raizel was strong, but seeing him in action was a different experience altogether.

The way his wings of blood unfurled behind him, the overwhelming aura he exuded—it was as if the world itself bent to his will.

Her heart raced with excitement, her admiration for him growing by the second. She wanted to be by his side, but for now, she understood he doesn't need their aid.

"You're amazing, Raizel," Akeno said under her breath, her voice filled with a mixture of worry and affection. Her wings, a mirror image of Raizel's, shimmered faintly as she readied herself to assist in the battle if necessary.

She couldn't just stand by and watch; she wanted to fight alongside him, to show him that she was strong too.

Issei stood in stunned silence, his eyes wide as he watched Raizel's overwhelming power in action. He had never seen anything like it—Raizel's strength was on an entirely different level.

He wasn't sure if he felt more inspired or intimidated, but one thing was certain: Raizel was not someone they could afford to lose. Issei clenched his fist, a newfound sense of determination flooding his body. He would keep fighting, no matter what.

"he's on a whole different level," Issei murmured to himself. "We've got to keep up, no matter what. For all of us."

Koneko, observed the scene with her usual stoic face. But even she couldn't help but feel a surge of admiration for Raizel's power.

Despite her quiet nature, she understood the importance of Raizel's strength and the weight of his actions. She was ready to fight, but she also understood that they needed to be tactical.

Xenovia, seeing Raizel overpower Kokabiel with such ease, couldn't help but be both awestruck and slightly humbled. The power that Raizel wielded wasn't something she had ever encountered before.

She knew that Kokabiel was a major threat, but it was clear that Raizel was more than capable of handling him. Still, she wasn't going to just stand around.

With Durandal in hand, she stood ready to strike if the opportunity presented itself.

Akeno, still watching Raizel, allowed herself a moment to appreciate the depth of their connection. Raizel wasn't just powerful—he was someone who had earned their trust and loyalty.

The others saw it, and so did she. She gave a small, affectionate smile, her heart swelling with pride.
