I Was a Loner, but My Class Got Summoned to Another World…

Chapter 430: Council of War

Today's fight was over, and Logan needed some much-needed rest. He could feel his core overloaded from all the monster merging he had done.

After taking a relaxing shower, he returned to his throne room—for the first time in what felt like forever.

As he opened the door, he saw Ruri, his personal maid, already cleaning the throne that hadn't been used in some time.

"Thank you, Ruri. You know I always appreciate what you do for me."

Logan knew she would blush if he said more, especially with so many people around today.

Standing nearby were most of his classmates and fellow acquaintances—Lady Elara, ruler of the Pearl Isles; Earl Rosengard; General Marcus of the Red Iron Republic; and the two sisters, Princess Vianell and Princess Myrea from Elris.

Logan turned to his girls—Lisa, Rubina, Marie, Serana, Silvia, and Alma—and gave them a playful wink.

As for the heroes, it was nearly everyone except Brian, who still wasn't allowed in his territory.

Ms. Claire had also joined them this time, clearly happy to see everyone alive and stronger.

"Well, we can't use my meeting room with this many of you, so I'll have to bear it and sit on the throne while you all take a seat on the hopefully comfortable benches," Logan said. He had grown more used to addressing others and tried to ease the tension before diving into heavier matters.

"As you all know, we now face a new enemy. It's no longer just the demons—but their king, Vrozakul, who has somehow been summoned here. As you've likely heard, they've been draining the continent's mana for some kind of grand-scale summoning…"

"Luckily, it seems to be weak for now. Today was probably just a warning from this new foe. He only managed to arrive by using Jonathan's body. He's probably still alive. As for George—he's dead… but somehow turned undead. Two of our classmates have, in a sense, turned against us."

Logan cleared his throat. He knew most of the students had already heard whispers of this.

"I know you're all working hard to improve. Some of you still need to finish your class transitions. But… please understand—we're now working against the clock. I, along with anyone who's willing, will be heading to the Empire to support them. They're on their last leg, and now that we've grown this strong, it's only right that we step in and help them."

He turned to Silvia, who stood and took over.

"What Logan says is true. We are on a timer," she began. "As many of you know, I've been working on a satellite project with Ruben, Marie, Rubina, Serana, and Kryst, who provided the purest crystals I needed to make it viable."

She paused, letting that sink in.

"We're continuing work on additional satellites that can be used in battle. But more importantly, through this device, I've been tracking demon movements. And what I've seen… is far worse than expected."

She inhaled deeply.

"There are hundreds of millions of demons. They're pouring out from a country south of the Empire—what used to be called the Tsardom of Korsun. Imagine something the size of Russia from back on Earth. That's how large this force is."

Gasps and murmurs echoed through the room.

"I saw it happen near the Pearl Isles. It's essential we support the Empire—and soon—before that demonic wave reaches them. The only thing holding them back right now is mana. They've already drained so much of the world's free mana that teleportation is nearly impossible without a spirit's backing."

Silvia suddenly conjured a flask of water, catching some off guard—many thought she was about to demonstrate something—but she simply took a drink and continued.

"Sorry. So now, the plan is for Logan and me to head to the Empire on his fastest creature and create a new teleportation point. That way, anyone willing to join us can arrive quickly and help with the upcoming battle."

With that, Silvia sat back down.

All eyes turned to Logan, who raised his hand to regain everyone's attention.

"There's one more thing before I open the floor," he said. "I've recently tamed three of the Demon King's creatures."

He extended his hand—and from the void beside him emerged two imposing figures.

"Let me introduce Queen Selvora and Queen Virexa," Logan said. "They are my Monarchs of their respective races—both summoned to this world from the demon plane. That place is a wasteland now, caught in a war so devastating it's left their entire world on the brink of collapse."

"They only came here because their races were leashed. Vrozakul—the damned king—likely wanted to eliminate them early to prevent betrayal. My taming released them from whatever binding had held them."

Logan turned toward General Marcus.

"As you know, there was another figure—Ifrit, my Flamebound Warlord. He too is now under my command. All three of these great monarchs will be tasked with guarding key domains: fire, lightning, and light. These are the elemental regions most vulnerable to demonic invasion, since they are easier for the demons to reach."

He let his words settle before continuing.

"The water and wind domains are far more isolated. Darkness is too powerful for the demons to even attempt to conquer. And Earth is protected by the creatures of my kingdom."

Logan had thought this through right after his shower. He needed to make it clear to the other nations—Elris, Ata, and the Red Iron Republic—that placing his creatures near their territories wasn't an act of conquest.

"Ifrit king of the fire-kin will be stationed near the Red Iron Republic. Naturally, they'll remain around the volcano. But if needed, they will aid you directly. I know your nation has been fighting constant wars, so I hope their presence will serve as support. Unlike before—when they were forced to fight alongside the demons—now they are under my command. No one needs to fear their presence or their intentions."

He looked directly at General Marcus.

The stern general said nothing. He simply gave a slow nod, clearly deep in thought about what had just been asked of him.

Logan then turned to Princess Vianell.

"As for Selvora and the Luphirians, I hope you'll allow them entry into your kingdom, Vianell. They are skilled warriors and hunters. I also hope you'll reach out to the great Light Spirit, Elion, and ask him to allow their kind to protect his domain."

He gave a respectful nod to the princess of Elris—one of the few true allies he had in that nation.

"I find no problem with that, King Logan," Princess Vianell replied. "We can help accommodate them—and even provide an area similar to your biomes. I just hope you can assist in constructing their living quarters. We don't have mages advanced enough right now to shape the terrain as you do."

Logan nodded at her words. He had already considered it. In fact, he was planning to start offering his mole army of constructors for hire who worked well with Bobby the builder—they could build a functioning city in mere weeks.

Then he turned to Emary.

"Emary, I'm sorry I haven't taught you as much as I should have. But I hope you've learned a lot just from being here in this city. I'll continue to guide you, and I believe you can grow to be just as strong as I am."

He paused, then added with sincerity, "Now, I want to ask for your family's approval—and for your help in convincing the Kingdom of Ata to allow my creature, Queen Virexa, to protect the Lightning Spirit's domain."

Emary nodded, already prepared with an answer.

"Don't worry. With the terminal you gave my family, I've already contacted them. They're ecstatic to have more support. As you know, our family doesn't have many members left, so this is welcome news."

"That's good to hear, Emary. Thank you."

Logan then turned to face the rest of the heroes.

His next question was simple.

"Now… who among you will join me?"

He first turned toward those he knew well. Their strength had already been proven, so approving them wouldn't be difficult.

Charlie, who appeared to be sleeping, was suddenly jolted awake by Halie, who had grown quite close to the boy.

"I—and this fool—will join you, Logan," she said brightly. "As you know, we've both completed our next class quests and are ready to help anytime."

The cheerful girl proudly summoned her three powerful creatures, drawing admiring glances from everyone in the room.

Logan nodded, satisfied, then turned to Owen the archer, Kiel the gladiator, and Victor the shadowmancer. The three sat beside each other and nodded in unison. Logan already knew their capabilities and didn't need to ask anything more.

Next, he faced those he didn't know as well—Carla, Chris, Darin, Jin, Reina, and Xander.

Carla, the hydromancer, nodded in agreement. She had recently fought in the war and had no hesitation about helping further.

Chris, a paladin, still had one final task before he could complete his class advancement. His quest required him to save someone on the brink of death—but he was willing to join.

Darin, more softhearted than the others, was still missing a few rare items to complete his own quest. He needed special seeds from various trees to finish it, and wasn't quite ready yet.

Jin, on the other hand, was among the strongest in the group—but his expression was hesitant. He was thinking deeply. Unlike most, Jin had a wife in this world… and she was expecting a child. His commitment lay elsewhere, at least for now.

Reina, the druid, also declined—though not permanently. She didn't feel strong enough yet. Her class advancement required gathering more spirits from creatures, and she still had a long way to go.

Finally, Logan turned to Xander—his personal cook. Xander ran his own restaurant in Highrule, and Logan ordered from him often. His meals had remarkable properties—boosting stamina, increasing mana regeneration, or even enhancing resistance temporarily. Xander's culinary talents were more than just comfort—they were battle support.

"If I can cook, I can be anywhere," Xander said with a grin. "You have my support in the war—just don't expect me near the front lines."

He smiled at Logan while casually biting into what looked like a piece of carrot. Judging by his expression, he seemed far more invested in the flavor of the vegetable than the intensity of the meeting.
