Grey opens her eyes to see she's in a building, with another one burning. She activates her race card, and scales begin growing around her neck, two horns sprout from her head. She grabs her revolver, puts on her gas mask, and dons her Kevlar armor. As she starts walking, she feels someone behind her. Turning, she sees Noah with his blood halo and blood wings, his skin pale as snow. He holds a blood-red sword. Next to him is Akako, with a silver halo and wings. In one hand, she holds a sword, and in the other, a pistol.

[Grey]: Hello. So, how was your first time in a new world, and our first meeting?

[Akako]: Well, if we weren't in a burning building, it could have been better. Now, we need to find the rest of our team. It's said here that the doctor will meet Talulah in half an hour.

[Ahma]: Hello, friends! This place is better than my house. Why not live here?

Ahma steps forward. He's handsome, with red eyes and bat wings. He's holding a gun, his knife ready for close combat. I would have dated him if I didn't have a boyfriend.

Before he can finish, Ahma's gun shoots a hole through his head. Reunion members begin swarming from all sides, but luckily, we make it out of the building. From the building in front, I see Rimuru, John, Goosein, and Arakan, all jumping down to fight the Reunion members. Their combat skills are impressive. Rimuru uses his sword, John starts using his gun to stab and shoot, while Goosein... Is that a golden minigun? Rimuru's two horns resemble an Eastern dragon's, and his beast-like black eye looks terrifying. John has two deer horns, and I can't see his face behind his helmet. Arakan, with his giant frame and two upright horns, just stabbed someone with his horns. The body is still stuck to them. Goosein wears golden power armor and wields a golden minigun. At his back, he has a large golden sniper rifle. Why not join the fun? In just five minutes, all the Reunion members are either dead or dying.

[Grey]: Alright, we rest for a bit, then each team will go their own way, okay?

[Rimuru]: Alright. I need to get used to this body. Getting tired is new to me.

[John]: This was fast and easy, not like the undead in my world.

We all rush to an open house to hide, but the chaos outside grows crazier than we expected. Some Reunion members are just running over fallen rocks. After a while, the threat dies down. We rush to the plaza, only to be surrounded by the Reunion, and there she is—Talulah.

[Second Team POV]

[Akako]: Sorry, miss, but this man is an old friend. You can't kill him, miss… was it Ines? Now, if you'll excuse me...

Akako punches her in the face so hard she faints.

After Ines faints, a man steps out. Before he can speak, Akako addresses him.

Those who couldn't be saved were protected by a girl named Rimuru, who shot out a dark fire that destroyed the dark rocks. They did all they could until the first impact ended. They helped us escape the city, telling us they still had one last job to do. People say they're heroes, and I believe it. If I see them again, I need to thank them.

[First Team POV]

[Nearl]: We're done for if we fight in a wide-open area. Our chances of survival are higher at the plaza exit.

We begin to take action, but

[Grey]: Too late. Look, she's here.

In front of us stands the leader of the Reunion—Talulah. We can feel the heat radiating from her, and at her back are the other Reunion leaders. Grey takes off her mask, revealing her face and horns, while Arakan speaks.

[Arakan]: You guys stay back. We'll take her. You go and hide. Wait for the rest of our team. The doctor must survive. Grey and Ahma, are you ready for this? Noah, protect them for now.

[Amiya]: No. Rhodes Island will not abandon anyone.

[Nearl]: Let me help.

[Ace]: Let me and my squad help you at least.

[Arakan]: No, you'll only get in our way.

[Ace]: Then don't die. If you live, I'll invite you for a drink after this.
