I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess

Chapter 212: Out in the Bazaar, Again?

Marionette wrapped her hand around the mug of her coffee, taking a sip from it before setting it down. She then looked to her side, staring at the white-haired girl as she ate her breakfast.

She seemed to be in quite a rush.

The Assassin raised her eyebrow, "I'm aware we have the tournament today, but I'm sure you know that it begins in the middle of the afternoon, right?"

Lillian side-eyed the woman, gulping down her food. She laid her silverware against her plate and stared at the Assassin weirdly.

"I need to make sure everyone is in their teams. Well, those that will be taking part in the competition."

"... Did you tell Reph about the fact I would like to be added to the roster?"

"For the first round? I did." Lillian nodded, "However, we both came to the conclusion that it would be best if you just competed in only the Crystal Defense one."

Marionette tilted her head, staring at the girl strangely. "And what would the reason for that be?"

Lillian grinned, "Because I wanna be the one to fight in it."

The Assassin widened her eyes at the Rabbit's rather surprising decision. Was it not better for her to go out and secure their win without any noticeable issue?

"For what reason, could I ask?"

Lillian leaned into the back of her chair, letting out a sigh, "Because I want to feel like I'm winning instead of getting my butt handed to me everytime we spar."

Marionette raised an eyebrow, slightly amused by the girl's words. "You're quite confident in the fact you can win."

"And you're not?" Lillian pouted, causing the Assassin's lips to curl up. Her ears twitched and her cheeks reddened a little at the woman's next words.

"You have already won over my heart. I'm sure you can win some mere competition." Said the Assassin as they cupped their mug and brought the mouth to her lips.

Lillian gave her a deadpan look before turning away with a slight blush, "You and your sweet words..."

"Your fault for blushing adorably."

"How about I kiss you then and make you blush, hm?"

"Please do."

***

"Hm? Stay here?"

Marionette folded her arms, standing inside the open doorway as she gazed at the white-haired girl, who had just told her not to follow.

Lillian gave a nod, "Yep. I won't take long. I'm just going to go out and buy something."

The Assassin frowned, "But why can't I come with?"

The girl smiled wryly at the woman. She noticed how the Assassin was tapping the side of her arm as she waited for her response. She gave a sigh and said:

"Because there is no need for you to... I'll be back, don't worry... And I'm not meeting anybody for a reason like last time."

Her face then twitched at her, "I also have to punish you to that, you know? You really can't suddenly attack people on an impulse."

Marionette gave an irritated snort, "That wasn't my fault to begin with. It's the Student President's fault. Go to her if you wish to argue whether who was in the wrong."

She then gave a loud huff, "And from what I've seen from our brief scuffle, she seemed to have rather enjoyed it. So from my point of view, no one was offended by my actions other than you."

Lillian gaped at the woman's reasoning. She thought of a retort to her words but couldn't think of any presently. The Assassin did have a point.

"W-well..." She then thought of one, "You didn't have to attack her either way. We could have just talked it out."

"..." Marionette stared at her silently before sighing, "I suppose my actions were impuslive. But such is reasonable when someone had claimed to done something so intimate with what's mine..."

Lillian blinked at her before smiling broadly. She wrapped her arms around the woman, hugging her tightly as she muttered:

"Why are you so cute~! Talking about getting jealous because you thought someone was going to steal me away~...!"

She then pulled away and turned to leave, "Anyway, I'll be going now. Don't go wandering off for me if you get lonely. It'll be a pain to come find you again."

Marionette watched as Lillian waved back and walked down the corridor. Once she saw that the girl's face had turned forward and away from her, she pouted.

"You're the cute one... Not me..."

***

Like most days, Lillian wandered through the Bazaar. And just like before, it was crowded as usual. She had even sworn that it was even more than average.

'To be fair, it is the day of the tournament, it would be surprising if it wasn't.' She monologued as she looked around.

Eventually, her legs took her to the end of the Bazaar, which was a lot less packed. And surprisingly, it was also there that she met a certain purple-haired girl wandering the streets.

She found the woman scrutinising the countless wares of traders. She grinned, thinking up a mischievous idea.

As Millis was looking over the variety of wares, a white hand reached over her shoulder and grabbed it.

"Boo!"

"AH!"

Millis jumped, nearly tripping a trader's stand, who reflectively moved back and fell onto the ground.

Lillian watched this with a wry smile as she watched the Heroine rub their rear with a pained expression. She couldn't help but think how the woman was a lot more fitted to have the Theatrical System than her...

"Uh... Hello and sorry?" Lillian muttered, pushing out a hand to the woman, who pouted at her.

Millis eventually smiled and grabbed onto her hand with a laugh, "Ya appeared out of no where! Ya really got me good."

After dusting off her clothes, she asked, "So! Where are ya off to? Marionette not with you, I see?"

Lillian shook her head, "Nah. I told her to stay in my room until I come back."

"Ehh~ is that so?" Millis grinned, poking the white-haired girl's shoulder, "Ya should be careful, ya know~ that girlfriend of ya is quite freaky~..."

Lillian raised an eyebrow after her face twitched from the Heroine's insistent poking, "Freaky? How so...? And do you mean in a sexual way?"

Millis stared at her with a deadpan expression, her lips curling wryly, "Wha... How'd ya know it was sexual?"

"... So, anyway how is she freaky?" Lillian feigned ignorance to the woman's question, causing her to pout.

Millis smiled before laughing, "When you have someone that obsessed with ya, they might start smelling ya clothes~!"

Lillian stared at her weirdly, "That's... Marionette isn't that type of person to do such an inappropriate thing, Millis..."

"Heh! Yeah, okay." Millis turned away, smirking. Lillian sighed, and after a while, she said:

"By the way, we are actually dating now."

"For real!? Finally, bro! Ya guys have been edging everyone for so long!"

"Every... One?" Lillian tilted her head but didn't bother asking what she meant.

Millis noticed this too and waved her hand, "Don't worry about that last part. But seriously, ya guys had been stalling for soooo~ long... How's it feel to finally start dating? And with someone that hot."

Lillian stared at Millis's perverted wink, rolling her eyes, "Hands off, bro. She's mine."

Millis's face twitched.

"That's not what I..."

"And it feels... Pretty good..." Lillian interrupted her. She could her chest become warm and her smile became uncontrollable as it spread across her lips.

Millis gazed at the radiant smile on the girl's face and smiled as well, "Well, that is all that matters!" She then froze before adding with a teasing look, "And were ya feeling possessive there—?"

"I wasn't." Lillian immediately shot her down with a shake of her head, causing the teasing look she got from the Heroine to intensify.

"Nah! Ya totally were!"

***

From under a mountain of rabbit-shaped plushies, a head popped out. Marionette looked around, scanning the room with her red eyes as she tightly hugged a plushie to her chest.

"... Was Lillian talking about me?"

She outwardly wondered before falling back under the mountain and taking in a deep breath of... A certain white-haired girl's scent.

After a little more walking, Lillian and Millis eventually came upon a lonesome stand with some plain old items on it. And behind it was a short, elderly man with a wise, long beard.

He was dressed in a long grey robe as he sat on a stool, reading over a newspaper—something that should've been discontinued but brought back by the older generation due to nostalgia.

The two slowed down and began walking towards it. It was also because of this that Lillian raised an eyebrow, "You going to buy something as well?"

"Huh? Oh, I was just following you. Wait, are you going to buy something from here?"

Lillian smiled, "Yep. I got a good feeling about this particular trader, you know?" And after saying that, she stopped in front of the stand and asked the old man...
