Chapter 5: My Villain Academia 3

Chapter 3:

SMACKSMACKSMACKSMACK

"Young man, please wake up!"

Aiden slowly opened his eyes, the light of the sun invading them before he fully opened up. He was lying down in the same alley he last remembered he was at until… The slime villain! He quickly sat up and looked around before looking up at a hulking figure.

What he saw was the stuff of dreams, All-might, standing right in front of him, his iconic smile was on his face but his eyes screamed concern as he looked down on Aiden, a small bottle of green goop accompanying his hero suit..

Aiden tried to get up and say something, but could only scarf down a mouthful of air. He quickly held his hand to his neck, trying to gulp down as much oxygen he could before a bottle of cool water was pressed in his face.

"Sorry, m'boy, your quirk made your armor completely sealed, no air coming in or out, I had to crack the thing open like a kit-kat bar!"

Aiden looked up at All-Might while he spoke, in disbelief that his quirk almost killed him. 'I did that? I don't remember my quirk ever doing that… In fact… I don't remember what my quirk did at all before today… Wait a minute!'

"All-Might what happened to the kid?" Aiden hurriedly asked.

All-Might gave out a loud laugh. "HA HA, not to worry m'boy, I reunited the child with his family, and as you see"  He grabbed and held out the bottle of green sludge, flipping it a few times before placing it back into his pocket. "The villain has been contained!"

Aiden stayed silent for a moment, still sipping on his water. "...Thank you All-Might."

"No problem, m'boy, I only did my job. It's such a joy to be of service to others." All-Might said, giving another booming laugh before turning around. "Welp, it seems like it's time for me to go; be safe young man!

And with that All-Might jumped off into the distance, the sonic boom from his jump blowing Aiden's hair back and knocking the almost empty water bottle out of his hands.

Now that All-Might had left, Aiden's adrenaline and excitement quickly calmed down as he got up and began to walk back to his house, staring down at his arms on the way.

''What… was that?' He questioned in his mind, his thoughts going a million miles a minute trying to gain even the foggiest idea on his incident. 'I haven't used my quirk in ages, but… I'm sure that wasn't it originally, right?'

He put a hand up to his face, trying to put himself in deep thought when he noticed something. 'I'm… Smiling?'

It was true, even after All-Might left there was no removing the permanent grin stuck upon Aiden's face, a smile so wide it attempted to split his face open. 'But why am I smiling, I haven't smiled in years?'

He could not fathom the answer to this question, and so he decided to simply move his thoughts someplace else, dismissing his smile as a trick of adrenaline and instead began to focus on just how his quirk worked.

 'Okay, just focus… Focus…'

SHINK

Aiden jumped back in shock, seeing orange armor suddenly appear on his forearm. It seemed like a standard piece of armor, looking like metal at first glance if you ignored the orange coloring.

SHINK

Soon, the armor enveloped his whole body from head to toe, and just like before he could feel an invisible force pushing everything away from him. And yet, he still had one problem…

'I CAN'T BREATHE I CAN'T BREATHE!!!'

Aiden quickly started to bang on the head of his armor, trying to gain even a scrap of air.

PPPPSSSHHHHH

Soon the armor began to open its faceplate, air rushing in to save Aiden from his untimely suffocation. 'Okay…I can control the armor I guess?'

He sighed, trying to facepalm but instead hitting the armor with a loud CLANK. He quickly willed the armor away, control coming to him much more easily as he gazed up at the sidewalk and his surroundings.

'When did I get home? Whatever.'

—-- Scene Change—--

When Aiden came into the house his eyes gazed upon his father and his very punchable face watching some brainless story of XOF news before he spotted his son "Hey, kiddo, how're you… doing?" Aiden's father started, but quickly trailed off, seeing everything wrong with his kid.

'Messed up hair… Disheveled clothes… Good body language!?' With every word he thought, his eyes perked up a little bit more before his eyes landed upon the coup de grace, his son's smile, a smile shining more than any TV in the room.

Aiden disregarded his dad's growing revelation, itching to get to his room and test out his quirk. "Alright dad, I'm going to my room, alone with my phone, so don't bother me" He quickly said before speed-walking upstairs.

"...Heh…Hehehe." Aiden's dad first started off with a simple giggle before evolving into a full blown laugh, even beginning to slap his knee before getting up and walking to the freezer. He dug inside of it, moving around the food before he got to the back where a very aged bottle of purple wine sat with a note reading "Aidenz Firzt tyme"

He wasted no time as he grabbed it and popped it open, getting two cups and sitting at his dinner table. He put a cup down at the opposite end while he sat at the end, pouring wine in both cups.

"Martha, can you believe it, our son had his first time!"

"..."

"I know, I know, it sounds like I'm overreacting but you're the one who bought the bottle."

"..."

"Yeah… I don't think it's his first time either, but have you seen him? I haven't seen him smile that wide since… Since you died."

"..."

Aiden's father got up and tapped his own glass against the other. "I miss you every single day, Martha." He said before beginning to drink, and even for a second he swore he could feel two lithe arms grabbing around his chest in an embrace.

While his father was downstairs, Aiden was in his room, the form that Ms. Smith gave him was lying on his desk as he sat in his chair with the armor around him. He sucked his teeth, chewing on his pencil eraser as he went in deep thought.

'I don't think I've ever felt like that before, that adrenaline, that wonderful feeling… My quirk.

Maybe it's because of memory loss, but I can't remember the last time I even used the thing.'

He took the pencil out of his mouth and inched closer to the form.

'But I can't deny what I felt, and how much I loved that feeling of power.

My hopes and dreams, I don't know what they are, but I know they're in fighting or just chasing that feeling.'

He put his pencil to the form.

'But I can't call myself anything on the side of justice, I'm doing this for almost entirely selfish reasons.

So that's why…'

And checked out the hero box.

'I'll be the greatest villain!'
